Really nice place for a family

We enjoyed staying here. The back patio was great for sitting around chatting over coffee in the mornings and for a glass of wine after a full day at the zoo. If we need to stay in Denver again we will definitely stay here.

This place is so great! It’s very cozy, clean, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed (coffee!). The garage is an added bonus. We spent Thanksgiving there and Whole Foods is a convenient walk away. Would definitely stay here again!

Terrific experience!

We stayed at this property while we were in Denver for a graduation - the property was everything it claimed to be! The host communicated with us promptly, met the needs of our group and was really just wonderful! The house was really nice, great location, really clean! I would absolutely recommend this property for a stay in Denver - great location!!

Great house in a great location

We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in central Denver from this charming house, and still enjoy the advantages of being in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Kitchen is very well equipped, bedrooms are comfortable, and the decor is eclectic yet tasteful. We also enjoyed using the back patio and bbq. (Note: a couple of minor plumbing issues need addressing— kitchen tap is difficult to turn off and toilet in second bathroom upstairs is running continuously, but these didn’t negatively impact our stay).

Great place with a back yard oasis

My husband and I stayed here in July 2024 with another couple and had a great experience. The owner was super responsive and the place is really lovely and nicely decorated with lots of thoughtful touches. We had everything we needed and then some - even bottles of water in the fridge for us when we arrived. And we really enjoyed the fenced-in back yard. We had our coffee & breakfast there every morning and a glass of wine in the evening. We walked to the botanical garden (a 30 minute walk) and discovered a funky cocktail bar just a block or so away. This place was a great find!

We really enjoyed being in the thick of urban Denver life. Every morning we sat on patio for coffee and muffins, reading the news. Next we wouldn’t wander off to the parks and botanical gardens. Restaurants were also in walking distance. Location, location , location sums up the beauty of Joshua’s abode. The house had everything we needed to feel like we were in our own home. The only negative was that the internet service was very slow and non existent on back patio.

Perfect House and Location for visiting Denver

First visit to Denver. We decided to stay in Capitol Hill downtown and it was perfect. If you need a car in Denver, make sure you rent a property WITH PARKING. Street parking in Denver in Capitol Hill is hard to find. This apartment was clean, full of windows overlooking an open field that looks at the skyline of Denver and equipped with every convenience and support you need. Very quiet. Very nice landlord, Joshua, who was attentive and informative. Would definitely stay here again. So homey and welcoming. Jelly's for breakfast nearby is a MUST so that you can experience the neighborhood. People in Denver are just nice people and love their city. Front porch on the house for sitting and covered garage in back for your car. Red Rocks Amphitheater and Golden, Colorado are less than 30 minutes away and if you have a car and time, you need to incorporate that in to the flavor of Denver.

Very Charming

We initially had an issue getting in but the owner happened to be on site. He had just changed rental companies and they were working out the glitches. As property owners we completely understood and were thrilled he was there to troubleshoot. He was fantastic. Denver was not what we expected. We live in Tennessee where restaurants are open all over the downtown areas. We walked the neighboring streets and everything was shut down with drug addicted people passed out on the sidewalks. There was one small area that had reportedly just reopened downtown (not walkable) with a handful of restaurants. Many areas of downtown have been under major reconstruction for years and appeared nowhere close to completion. That being said, the property was delightful, but not walkable to anywhere pleasant. If you love original woodwork, as I do, this is the place for you. If you are Catholic take in a mass at the beautiful, walkable Cathedral. RiverRocks for a concert is a must do if you are able to walk many (no joke) flights of stairs. Once you get to your seats the views are incredible. In summary, if you are looking for a cozy retreat with the intention to drive, this is the perfect place. We love being outdoors and enjoyed both the front porch and back patio. Lots of privacy with three bedrooms separated. The best part of the trip was lunch at the golf course across the street from the zoo. Excellent food and the best views of Denver. The zoo was a nice experience too.

Amazing Location, Lots Of Room

GREAT location, comfortable beds, GARAGE PARKING! Having off street parking in a downtown location is gold, much less having a garage. The location was great for the best downtown restaurants and activities. Decor changed inside from when I booked it 6 months ago, but it didn't impact the comfort (honestly, the sofa was better than the picture). Had everything we needed for a more than comfortable stay in Denver!

The location was great. There were a couple small problems checking in. Mostly out of the owners control but since this was my very first time renting like this it made me skeptical. Good for what we needed...

Cute house and great backyard and location! Owner was great and very accommodating. Could’ve been cleaner, and there were broken glasses in the cabinets when we got there? A little too cluttered, but was a great spot for the three days we were there!

Great stay in capitol hill

The house is very cozy and nice. Three of us stayed here for a work trip at the Denver convention center. The house was clean and a great place to stay with all the amenities of home. Located in walking distance to shopping and restaurants and the convention center. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for everything.

Amazing place!

We stayed here for three days while attending shows at the Ogden Theater which is a 5 minute walk. The location is in a safe place and off street parking in garage is nice. The place is clean and organized with everything you need. We'll definitely look into this place again on our next trip. Thanks Joshua!

Scottish by birth, I travelled around the states a bit after University and found the the people of Colorado were the friendliest I had met on my travels. I decided to stay that was 20years ago. This is such a wonderful city and state. I'm a sports fan, billiards player, and DIYer.

I started Airbnbing to help pay for a holiday here and there and now I've graduated to full time in the hopes I can stop the 9-5 grind and live my life more fully.
My parents rented cottages growing up and learning from that my goal is to give my guests the absolute best experience possible.
