Great Neighborhood, Great Space!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for our group of two adults and 5 kids. It was close to the pool and beach. The neighborhood was quiet and very close to Seaside and The Big Chill. A few things to note: to access the beach and pool, key fobs must be used, so be prepared to keep track of those. For the beach you must have a fob to exit to get back to the house so you have to take two with you if anyone wants to leave early. Also, the beach access leads you to a beach where the chair companies set up right along the shoreline. Be prepared to buy chairs or sit behind several rows of people. There are private beaches on either side of the beach access so that is the only option from the closest access. Because of this, we rode bikes down to the public beach access down the street (Eastern Lake). It was the perfect spot for us where we could spread out and not be blocked by chair companies.

A gem!

Beautifully decorated home with a well-thought-out layout, perfect for 2-3 families to share. Short walk to the beach and pool, dining and shopping—checks all the boxes! See you next summer!

We would def stay again... the only things I would mention are that the master bed could be improved. It has a huge mattress topper on it and while soft, it’s very soft!It needs a good new mattress on it. The other thing is that none of the outlets in the master or the full bedroom upstairs worked. Neither of these things were deal breakers for us but if I were the owner I’d want to know. We loved the street, biking to shops and restaurants and the walk to the beach was about 5 minutes. We really enjoyed the screened in porch on rainy afternoons.

Fantastic family getaway

We all agree that this was the best house we have rented in the 7 years we’ve been coming to the area. The property is beautiful and very welcoming. We all loved how the house was decorated inside and out. There was plenty of room for the kids to build their forts and the adults to relax. Thank you for the coffee

Wonderful Home

Out of Bounds is in great proximity to the beach and the pool! Loved how big the home was with so much outside seating. Went for spring break with 6 kids (ages 14-18, boys & girls) and they loved the location and that they were able to bike to the square, Big Chill, and restaurants/ice cream. Will definitely be back! The only recommendation is that there be a griddle for breakfast!:)

There were a couple of quirks to the house ... it reminded me of an older home where the upstairs floors creak and none of the doors had traditional locks. Nothing that significantly impacted our stay, though.The beds were comfy and we enjoyed being able to spread out on the various decks and porches during the day. The provided bikes were a huge plus, and the proximity to the beach and our favorite local spots was wonderful. We were disappointed that one of the pools was closed the entire time we were there, but thankful there was a second one available on the next street! Our kids loved it.

Overall, unfortunately it wasn’t as nice as we were hoping - many of the blinds were broken, the outdoor furniture was a bit dingy, and there were some areas in the home that weren’t very clean. We did have to contact the management team several times and they were always very responsive and kind and quick to solve our issue so that was nice. Downfall to the area was no golf carts allowed.

Great family rental!

The house was big enough for 6 adults and 4 kids. The house was clean, had a great screen in side porch, it had fans and a breeze ran through it which made it comfortable to sit even when it was hot outside. The location was great! It had two pools and the walk to the beach was very close. The kids were able to ride their bikes on the street without worrying of too much traffic. Communication with owner was very good. I had questions before check in in regards to the area and they replied very fast and were very helpful. During our stay we had issues with the bike locks, I emailed them and they came the same day to fix it. We would definitely recommend this house and the area is beautiful!

The house has a great layout and a ton of storage space for clothing, pantry items, etc. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were roomy and bright. 4 stars only because the door to the side porch had a broken lock, which would intermittently prohibit it from opening. The location of this house was perfect. Super easy walk to the beach (even with toddlers and an infant) -- maybe 3 minutes to the sand, and the beach is less crowded than Seaside. Equally easy walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and shops across 30A from the neighborhood. Old Florida Fish House was a fun dinner for our party of 12. Ambrosia was perfect for a date night. Shopping in Seaside was nice, but I'm so glad we stayed in Seagrove -- far less crowded and super laid-back. We're already planning for next year!

Great 30a Stay

We enjoyed our stay SO much!! Close walk to the pools and beach. We enjoyed riding bikes that weee provided in the area. This house is decorated so nicely, and felt like we were at right at home (homey feel to it) the whole week. We’d rent again next time we are in the area.

We loved the location, pool access, large bedrooms for our multi-generational trip. We were close to Eastern Lake for paddling, the ocean for swimming and sunning, and to 30A for restaurants and bike riding. It is a little bit of a quiet area, which was a nice change from our previous rental closer to Seaside. The house had everything we needed and we would definitely rent again!

From the spacious kitchen and living area to the large, well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, everything was so comfortable. The were plenty of towels, comfy beds, and lots of space to play games at night, or enjoy a family dinner. The walk to the beach and pool was great, and we loved the peace and quiet of N. Ryan Street for early morning coffee on the porch while the grand kids played. We can't wait to come back to this beautiful home!

Family spring break 2024

Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect home for my 6 kids and grandkids to spend the week. The open floor plan on the main level allowed for so many game nights and quality family time. The house is a short walking distance to the beach. My 6 year old grandson could walk it easily. Having the 4 bikes in hand were convenient. The Quiet secluded street sheltered us from other spring breakers. The porch bed swings were a hit! We would definitely stay here again. The owners were very receptive to any issues that arose.

With two living spaces, and three patios, there’s plenty of room for a large family to spread out while recharging. Our small family of 4 loved our movie nights downstairs after our beach days. We especially enjoyed the short walking & biking distance to nice restaurants & shopping across 30A. Thank you for this opportunity to build precious family memories!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this home many times over the last three years. It was once an excellent property but now it just seems very tired. The furnishings on the inside definitely need to be updated. And needs a good deep clean. Also, we have reported the same maintenance issues that have yet to be fixed. This last visit the front porch light was out and my wife almost fell down the stairs because she couldn’t see her way. The management company is always quick to respond, but rarely fix problems the first time you call.

I was disappointed that my call to have front porch light repaired went unheeded. Having no light after dark was dangerous and should be unattended to immediately. Wonderful Family Beach Vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Out of Bounds Cottage is located on a quiet, tree lined street, which turned out to be about a 5 minute walk to the beach. It was perfect for our group of 5 adults, 3 children and an active 1 year old. We really enjoyed the porches especially the side porch and the one with bed swing upstairs where our grandchildren enjoyed gathering for bedtime stories. It was nice to be away from the crowds at Seaside while just being a short bike ride away. The only thing that would've improved our stay is having more FOBS for access to the pools and beach. We only had two for our large group, so it was difficult to coordinate comings and goings at times. I would recommend having at least 4 for large groups. Otherwise our stay was wonderful and we would return in the future if we are planning a trip to the area.

Wonderful quiet neighborhood and great house!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family of 4 with two young kids, and 2 additional adults, stayed for 12 days. Great location, quiet neighborhood, 2 pools, easy beach access, we had a great time!
