Not as advertised!!!

The yard and pool were great once we swept the dirt and cigarette butts up. Ratty towels, old decrepit dish towels, no dish soap, no dishcloths, no soap , no shampoo, only one roll of toilet paper, and the "4th" bedroom is adjoined to the third so you have to pass through the 3rd bedroom to exit. Good setup for young family. Extremely poor setup for couples.

Memories for life.

Thank you for letting us rent your lovely villa! We have had a wonderful week here in Casa Momassa - the whole family with mom, dad, 3 children, 3 in-law children and grandchildren age 3 months - 9 persons in total. We have had lovely weather, almost a bit too hot some days. We have enjoyed ourselves in the garden, and the men has been golfing for 3 days. We have also been to the beaches. One day we had a 60 years celebration, what a fantastic memory. The villa has worked terrific for a big family with a baby. We used the barbecue often, with many good long dinners. Last night we made a huge portion of bacalao, and almost everything was eaten! Today, everybody travels back home, thank you for a great stay!

Casa Momassa stood to expectations

There was an expectant party in three generations who sat down on the plane early Tuesday morning. We had heard and seen so much about this place. The place, or rather Casa Momassa, certainly stood to expectations! The property has a stunning location and a pool that has been widely used, almost at all hours. Morning bath is going to be missed. We've eaten breakfast every day in the villa. Lunch and dinner we have combined with restaurant visits and cooking at home. There have been a few rounds of golf at Gramacho, a very beautiful course. As usual it was a little variation when playing, but we had a good time. Temperature and weather has been fantastic. Bright sunshine, warm but a nice breeze made it "livable" It was really good with a pool! The youngest one Mathias (2 1/2 years) have had a great time, and used the pool a lot every day. We also had time for some trips to Algarve shopping centre. Now we have to try to fit everything inside the suitcase! Now we have packed and are ready for the journey home, unfortunately! We say goodbye for now, but would love to go back on another visit to this wonderful place.

The time of our life here at Casa Momassa!

We have been 8 persons from Norway that has really had the time of our life here at Casa Momassa! Three children and five adults have taken advantage well of the terrace, garden and pool. There has been wonderful days with great weather every day. We have also been around and seen/visited nearby places like Portimao, and had a swim at "Praia da Rocha". In Albufeira we ate good food, Carvoeiro have been visited twice and we (three of us) have jumped from the cliffs of "Praia do Carvalho" - An amazing gem! Zoo Marine was our choice when it came to the parks, where they have a very good variety of attractions. There was no golfing on us this time, but it could certainly tempt by a return! All in all, we can briefly sum that it has been a fantastic holiday that tempt us to come back to. Both in terms of Casa Momassa and Algarve! Thanks so much for having us at this wonderful resort!

Fantastic holiday for 12 persons

It has been a fantastic stay. We have been on tours, and it has been a lot of swimming in the pool. The weather has been absolutely fantastic. Between 27 to 31 degrees and sunny every day. Thanks a lot for renting out our villa to us. Going home to 14 degrees and rain…

This is paradise!

We have not seen anything to Adam & Eve (except for the fig leaf) still this is a paradise! Four happy golf-married couple cannot stress enough the location, the surroundings and the villa. And not a single word in Stig's advertising on-line is exaggeration, quite the contrary! The golf courses are absolutely amazing, service on site is superb and friendly - is almost like staying in a hotel. We got some time to visit some of the beaches, Caneiros and Carvoeiro as well as an extended road trip to Lagos on the sole rain-weathered day. Plus Ferragudo.

Beautiful villa with lovely garden

Your beautiful home with its lovely surroundings have been an ideal venue for our annual reunion here, this time in Portugal. We are six friends who comes from houses in Denmark, France and England. Our three weeks here have enabled us not only to enjoy the golf, but also to visit the historic towns in the Algarve.  The comfort and facilities of Casa Momassa have indeed made this a relaxing and very pleasant holiday in a “home from home” Thank you and kind regards.

What a paradise!

We had a brilliant week at a wonderful place! We have really liked the villa from the first minute. While weather forecasts continually showed rain and clouds, we mostly had sunshine and blue skies. We had lazy days in the garden, eating here and BBQ. We have visited Praia Carvalho and Caneiros. Eaten well in Carvoeiro, Praia dos Caneiros and Ferragudo. And had the barbeque with the golf club.  It has also been time for shopping.... Friday we had our last dinner at "Fim Do Mundo" (Ferragudo) Beautiful big steaks! What a paradise you have!

Our favorite villa. It just works!!! The outside space is lovely too.

Had a fabulous 10 days in Carvoeiro. This is our 4th time in the resort, and this is our favorite villa. It just works!!! The outside space is lovely. The pool is the cleanest we have ever had. Loads of shade in the beautiful gardens, just as well as temperature reached 40 degrees this week. Visited both waterparks. Aqualand better for small children. Slide & Splash better for older kids. Visited our old haunts if you are in town and want a good meal and friendly service. Jota Lita is the place!!! Carvalho beach fab!! Will be back!

Lovely week

We’ve had a lovely week in your holiday home. The weather was perfect – warm with blue sky every day. The Italian restaurant in Sesmarias (Da Donato) was very good, we went twice! We recommend Bom Dia boat trips, leaving from Lagos marina. We did the 4 ½ hour “Baia de Lagos” trip which was good fun. The pool is lovely. Thank you for letting us use your villa!

Beautiful family villa

We envy you having such a nice villa. Our stay has been wonderful with blue skies every day. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the pool + garden and the men enjoyed two rounds of golf. We would love to come back again sometime in the future. Sorry to have to mention it but one negative thing. One of the children had an accident down the steps near the showers and are possibly to close to the pool edge. Thank you for letting us use you're beautiful family villa. We had the most amazing 10 days there - it's truly a special spot. Thank you. Hope to be back next year!!

Fantastic villa with all the comfort you can ask for!

First week we stayed here with buddies and played golf. Fantastic weather and stunning villa. Golf - swimming pool - sun - good food - good drink. Second week came our dear children. Excursions to the stunning beaches. Lots of snacks with pool. Fine dining destination with lots of good food. In the evenings, games and gatherings, where everyone could just relax and enjoy life. The villa has been fantastic, with all the comfort you can imagine. The swimming pool has been used to the maximum when the temperature has been 26-32 degrees. Thank you for these two weeks. We would go back any day.

Superb villa

We arrived at this superb villa on the national day of Norway, and it was a superb place to celebrate 17 May. We've enjoyed a lot! Used the pool a lot, has been exploring several cities nearby, relaxing in the lovely couch and around the pleasant dining table. The weather has been la bit so so. A few days really bad weather. It rained and blew intense. But there have also been fine sunny days - so no shortage of red skin color! No one in your party has been in Portugal before, but what a fantastic place this is. We really want to come back again!

Feels like home

We come from France and have just spent a week in this stunning villa. We felt at home here from the first time since both equipment and decoration is practical and elegant. Having become familiar with golf courses in the region we mean that you have one of the most beautiful villas a golfer can dream of. Magnificent garden and pool.

Delicious days in Portugal and Casa Momassa. We are two families who have had two wonderful weeks in this lovely house with a magnificent garden and pool. We have traveled around and done a lot. We have been to Zoo Marine, where Esmeralda did swim with dolphins on "Dolphin Emotions" - The day ended with dinner in Carvoeiro, where we ate Portuguese fish soup. (We bought the 2 day pass to Zoo Marine, so we manage to see everything. Pirates show impressed the ladies! Sunny days on the beach Caneiros where kids got to surf in the waves. Cozy little beach. We also had several days by the pool. And eventually we ended up as regular customer at the Italian restaurant on the corner. GREAT food there!! Now it is time to say goodbye, and bring with us many happy memories back home to Norway. What a great place!!

Perfect for a golf holiday.

Over the past five years we have spent our very relaxing golf holiday in this nice villa. Casa Momassa has become even more beautiful and cozier, after it was refurbished. We like it very much here in late summer, the Algarve golf area, in the pretty garden and in the spacious villa.  We will gladly return.

Gorgeous garden, very nice pool & perfect villa!

Thanks for let us stay in your villa. We have had a great week here in Casa Momassa. Played golf every day and watching golf on TV in the evenings! Slightly cold wind, but still we enjoyed the stay a lot. We have traveled around played 5 different golf courses, enjoyed great food. We have also explored the area, and it is very nice. But the best experiences we had was in the gorgeous garden. After a lovely day on the golf course we relax in the pool, and sun-dried while having a small glass of wine. Pure pleasure - this is when life is worth living! Thanks for letting us stay in your villa - we will hopefully be back again.

Smashing golf week in glorious villa!

We are 8 boys (men) who have rented this amazing villa for one week. Free from children and wives, in a glorious house with lots of great golf courses around, this was a smashing week! 11 rounds of golf at 6 days! So it was a short of time to enjoy the pool and the rest of the villa. Great outdoor barbecue was well utilized. Brilliant sun the whole week.  With SKY sports on TV we even got to see some football in the evenings. In addition to this, we had time for an excursion on the go-karting track "Kartodroma" (about 15 minutes’ drive) This can be recommended! We thank you for the loan of the villa and would go back any time :-)

10 wonderful days in Casa Momassa

We have had 10 wonderful days here in Casa Momassa. What a beautiful place! It has been nice weather, a couple of cloudy days, otherwise blue skies. We have visited Carvoeiro, Ferragudo and Portimao. Our golfers Odd, Aage Petter and Rudi have had several rounds on the golf course. One day everyone was in Zoo Marine, it was nice for both young and old. We visited the beaches of Carvalho and Marinha. Beautiful cliff beaches! For breakfast we have had fresh bread and rolls from the local bakery. Most days have we spent by the pool. We have also played Boccia in the lovely garden. Thank you very much, we would love to come back.

We highly recommend this place!

Two families of 8 people have had 12 good days in Casa de Momassa! The villa has everything when it comes to equipment and facilities, so everything has been done for holidaymakers. The children (ages 5-7) have used the pool countless times every day and never had enough time in the water! We have appreciated the short distances to exciting adventures such as the Slide & Splash water park and the many beautiful beaches. Good food and drinks have we had with the barbecue grill here at “home” and at cozy restaurants in Carvoeiro. Do not forget about the local pizza restaurant at the marina in Portimao. Villamoura and Algarve shopping have been on the program too, so the experiences have been many and varied. Thank you for your wonderful stay at Casa de Momassa, and thank you for prompt answers from the service minded owner when we have had questions. We would highly recommend this place!!

Wonderful week at Casa Momassa

We have had the most wonderful week at Casa Momassa – thank you! The villa is so beautiful and comfortable at the same time. We loved the outdoor eating area and finding all the other little places to sit in the gorgeous garden. We really enjoyed playing golf on the lovely course and there were so many places to eat out in the evening – One of our favourites was Mar d’Fora with its amazing views and delicious food. We hope we can come and visit again soon – in the meantime enjoy your beautiful villa and our very best wishes to you all!
