This is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin. Please review your sleeping needs and the beds shown in all photos. The cabin is professionally decorated with a modern touch while keeping the mountainous feel. The resort has a seasonal outdoor pool and a friendly atmosphere. It's perfect for a romantic getaway, an escape with friends, or a fun family vacation.
Bear Hugs entertains guests with a hot tub on the second deck overlooking the mountain with REAL, uninterrupted views. The upstairs bathroom also has a romantic jacuzzi tub. Open the blinds to enjoy the mountain views. The cabin also has a pool table, arcade game, lounge area upstairs and down, flat-screen TVs, DirectTV, and WiFi. This cabin really has it all and is just MINUTES from the Parkway. The roads are all convenient to travel making the cabin very accessible. Did I mention the REAL views?
Bear Hugs Cabin sleeps two in the King bedroom downstairs. Other sleeping areas include a bunkbed on the second level (a twin and a full) in the game room which features an additional pull-out sofabed. Sleeps 6 comfortably (Combo of adults and kids is ideal - we cannot rent out to 5+ adults, for property management reasons). The upstairs also overlooks the downstairs living room. The living room has a sofa, coffee table, love seat and accent chair.
The downstairs deck has additional seating and dining space. The upstairs deck has new luxury composite rocking chairs and a hot tub that is perfect for watching the sunset while enjoying your favorite beverage. Both decks have uninterrupted views of the mountains.
With so much to do, you really don't need to leave the cabin, but if you do, we also have a seasonal community outdoor pool on site. The cabin is located just minutes from the world-famous Parkway, and is a short drive to Gatlinburg!
New in past 12 months - new washer/dryer, new king mattress in the master bedroom, new high-end composite rocking chairs on the upstairs deck.
Other points of interest and features are a dining room area and kitchen with all amenities including a dishwasher. You won't regret choosing Bear Hugs and will want to make this a yearly tradition. NOTE: The pool is open from May 1 to October 1 and we have paid for our guests to have access to the outdoor pool.
