1500 square ft coastal cottage. Come and play in Parksville and relax in this family friendly home, located across the street from a quiet 7 acre park with kids playground and walking trails. The beautiful gardens make patio time perfect. Located a few blocks stroll (or bike ride) away from sandy Parksville beach, 10 mins drive to Qualicum beach, central to Save On Foods, Oceanside Arena, and a 45 min drive to the base of Mt.Washington ski resort. This west coast home sleeps 6, with a king bed, double and queen. The loft style master bedroom boasts an ensuite with jetted tub. The private yard is fully fenced and RV parking is available. Please note that this property has stairs.

Cute, clean and comfortable

It was just right for a girls weekend. Clean and comfortable and well appointed. It was a very hot day when we checked in and they had left one of the portable ACs on upstairs. It helped cool the place down. So very thoughtful of the owners. The sitting area outside was lovely and perfect for having a morning coffee or an evening cocktail.

Our stay

The location was perfect. Quiet neighborhood, close access to the highway. The kitchen was well equipped and house was spacious enough for the four of us. We would definetly choose this place again.

What a lovely place

Super quiet, very comfortable, in a great area close to everything, back yard is so amazing with peach/plum/pear and apple trees. Even a fire pit. Would definitely return, was sad to leave.

Lovely house with backyard orchard.

This house was cool despite 33 degree weather. There were air conditioners in both upstairs bedrooms. This house had everything we needed and it was clean and well maintained and even had a lovely walk through the woods adjoining the park across the street.

Lovely House and Great Location

Lovely house, perfect for our family and dog. Fabulous location opposite the park for our 6 year old and our dog loved the huge back yard. We had a great stay and the house was close to everything.

We found the response from the host was not very good, repeated messages and finally a replyafter confirmation of booking.. First impression was lovely, beautiful garden, cute cottage as across from the park once we arrived. Beware even though there’s a TV , there’s no cable and is not a smart TV. The host also does not return your calls if you call .

Cute little house with a beautiful garden

We really enjoyed staying at this cute house .. we rented for a month and both my husband and I were able to work remotely without getting into each other’s hair... beautiful gardens in the front and back yards; alocated close to the beach and French marina where you can visit with sea lions during the right times of the year. Communication with the owner was great! I would definitely stay again

Pretty house across from lovely park

Very nice home with lovely front yard and private backyard. Renovated kitchen and bathrooms and comfortable beds. Kitchen was well equipped. Nice park across the street. We enjoyed our stay here. Only issue we had was the house did not have cable tv so husband was very disappointed he could not watch Canucks game 7.

Beautiful Cottage

The property was as seen in the photos, large fenced back yard with a number of fruit trees. My only issues were that the floors could use a good wash as our socks and slippers got quite black from walking on them and secondly, although there is a large TV down stairs and one upstairs, there is no tv viewing available except DVDs. We don't watch a lot of TV but it would be nice to be able to get News and Weather reports. My son brought his chrome cast dongle so we could watch things from his phone. Other than that it was as discribed.

Would come back in a heart beat!!

The property is even nicer than on line. The yard and house was excellent for our family if 5 and small dog. Great location to explore the island from Victoria to Tofino. Heather was prompt to all questions and went out if GRT way to accommodate us for an extra days stay. If you are ever looking to go to the island this ya the place!

Great family getaway!

Great home & great location! Our family really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a family of 3 or 4. The beds were really comfy, loved having a wood burning fireplace and huge backyard for kid and dogs. Lots of little added touches for kids which were really appreciated (highchair, baby gate, bibs, pack n play). We will definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful home to stay

Inside is homey and comfortable. Brought our pup with us first time. He was just as comfortable as we were. Would come to stay again. Great location, easy access to everything.

fantastic stay with pet

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Heather is extremely responsive, the bed on the main floor is equipped with a new mattress, and it's a wonderful property if you need to bring a pet - there's a fenced in back yard and a park right across the street. The wood burning stove was such a great treat this time of year! The house is well updated, and kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks again Heather!

Sweet little home

We rented this sweet little home in the community of Parksville for a winter getaway and just loved it. Beautiful yard, right across from a park and within walking distance to walk down to see the ocean

Great place in Parksville

Central location; close to beaches, park, shops and restaurants. Very nice house, it has everything that you might want. And the fenced back yard is perfect if you are bringing your pet! The property manager is very helpful.

Dog friendly

Charming and Private

We were travelling with our 86 year old Mom and 4 month old puppy so we were looking for a property where Mom wouldn’t have to deal with stairs and that had a yard where we could play with the dog... This place was ideal! Well equipped, Neat and Tidy , spacious and centrally located , we very much enjoyed our short stay and will come back again!

Great Update on a Character Home

Smart upgrades to an older frame. Well-organized and kempt. Large back yard with good fruit trees. Beautiful & comfortable front garden. Would benefit from fitting electrical outlets and old landlines with protective coverings. Otherwise, charming property.
