The house was very clean, cozy, and very enjoyable! Great Vibe! Although we didnt personally have a direct view to the lake there was a lake just a few yards away with an amazing view!

Nice stay

Overall a nice private property and was happy to bring the pup. Beautiful scenery and relatively close to lots of waterfalls and lookout points. Hot tub and fire pit on property were nice as well

Lovely Dog-Friendly Cabin!

We so enjoyed our stay! Lovely cabin with a beautiful, private yard. So children and dog friendly! We loved the swing-set and the hot tub. We hope to return again.

Absolutely Perfect!

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The home was spacious for our family of 5 and the large yard was an added bonus. We were close to many restaurants and ski resorts. The neighborhood is very peaceful and there are many trails and lakes to hike too. The home was clean and the kitchen has everything you need to make dinners at home. We would definitely plan to stay here again!

This home exceeded our expectations. Beautiful property, private setting, clean, roomy, every amenity you could want (seriously, even a crockpot and sharp knives). A floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace that was the central gathering place. The half bath in the laundry room was a bonus. This home was great and we all loved it and our stay.

House in the woods

Our family of 6 adults enjoyed our stay in this comfortable home. There was enough room for all. We enjoyed the hot tub. Wildlife at the site included deer, groundhog, and various birds, including the Western Grosbeak, new to us. The lake was nearby, with an easy trail. Other hiking trails were not far. Wifi fine for emails; remote work one day required using own hot spot.

Lovely spot

We really enjoyed this house. It’s in a great woodsy setting in Timberline, totally private and quiet. Really nice wood burning fireplace. Kitchen very well stocked, except for glassware. Nice layout, very comfortable beds. Nice outdoor spaces, decks, and fire pit (though we did not use it). Immaculate hot tub. The property was very clean. But, it does show some age and wear. Carpets are faded, worn, and spotted, sofas look a little dingy, wallpaper peeling in places, etc. I see this as a sign that it has been well-used over many years. But, again, it was very clean, so we didn’t feel bothered by the wear and tear. But the decor does need to be freshened up. We didn’t get to use canoes/kayaks (too chilly/rainy) but they looked good, and we’d definitely come back to try that amenity.

Carpet is badly stained, wallpaper ripped off walls, ceilings stained, bed sheets don't fit, etc.

This place is in bad need of repair and updating. Place accepts dogs, but carpet is gross, even for dogs. Big bleach stains all over. Ceilings have water stains, queen bed hard as rock, furniture is old and stained, kitchen tile needs replacing, bed sheets don't fit and come off, no paddle boat, kayaks filthy, and Mirror Lake is a small pond not a LAKE. Bath towels had bleach stains all over them.

Wildlife Galore

We had a great stay in the Canaan Valley. The house is back in the end of the development and extremely quiet. You can walk down to the lake and use the included canoe and kayaks. They had a box of outdoor games, and kids books and board games inside. The wildlife walk right through the yard everyday and the stars at night were unbelievable. Internet was DSL and we had a few outages while we were there, but we hardly needed it and barely watched TV even with a 5 year old. What a great place.

Nice, Relaxing, great backyard, quick access to lake where use of kayaks and canoe is easy, reality also offers swimming lake just down the road. The sunlight in the master bedroom means your up early like the birds.

Family friendly

Had a really good family vacation. Very quiet location. Enjoyed seeing deer come into the yard. Little one really enjoyed the playset. Just wish the grass had been mowed. Over all it was a very relaxing weekend.

Excellent reality agent and overall stay

We actually didn't stay at the original cabin we had booked. There was an issue with the hot tub. But we were very satisfied with the second cabin we got. It was amazing and had an amazing view!
