This is a very nice property that was very accommodating for our entire family. Communication with the property manager was excellent and the check-in and checkout process were smooth and seamless. We plan on staying here again next year.
We were in the lake every day. Fishing was a daily event too. We made good use of the kayaks. The nearby town was lovely. We enjoyed a polo match. We went to the university nearby and a winery. We even enjoyed a couple of short shady hikes. Great Vacation!
Place is spacious and clean! Excellent for a large group! Walk to waterfront isn’t ideal , but once you get down there, excellent!
Our only issue was no working WIFI in one of the buildings.
We had a wonderful week at the Amerman Inn. Private, clean, plenty of space, well appointed living. Games, books, puzzles all provided. The best was the waterfront. Great big dock with plenty of seating, clean clear water with steps from the dock for easy in and out. Only wish we could have stayed all summer!
This is beautiful property! With two separate homes and three separate living areas, the ten of us were able to completely spread out and be comfortable. The dock area was perfect for swimming and boating and we made good use of the fire pit and large playing area on the lawn. We also appreciated the isolated location for privacy. We would definitely return!!
We loved this accommodation. The location was perfect and the homes fit our large family well providing enough community space and private space for all. The view of the lake was fantastic in the morning sipping on coffee. Great bird watching, swimming, kayaking, and spending quality time with family. While not a problem for us, there are many steps which could be a challenge for elderly or people with mobility issues

Thank you Matthew for your review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to having your family back the next time your travels bring you to Skaneateles.
This property turned out to be exactly what I dreamed of when planning my birthday celebration. Plenty of room for my extended family, and the 3 kitchens were a treat in which to work! Lovely lakeside access, and beautiful views from the patio and decks. The owner answered all of our questions quickly and a minor issue was addressed efficiently. Highly recommend!

Thank you for your kind review! We are so pleased you enjoyed your birthday celebration and the accommodations worked out well.
Exceptional choice for multiple families , couples or friends. Very private location with everything you need for a fun filled lake vacation. The quality of the kitchens, living areas and outside lawn and sitting area will not disappoint! Nice attention to details like lawn games and lake items. Easy drive to Skaneateles restaurants, polo matches and wineries. Enjoy!
What a great location to have a family reunion! Everyone could be together, with lots of room to breathe. Lovely rooms, peaceful location, lots of space for outdoor fun such as cornhole and campfires, and a great lakefront with good fishing from the dock. As warned, the walk to the lake was steep, but not impossible. We had 4 generations at our reunion, ranging from 2 to 90, and there was something for everyone to enjoy!
This property works well for a large group of vacationers. It provides adequate room for 10+ people. Though it is a little walk to the water down a steep grade, it is not too far and is a safe distance when you have little ones. The dock area is nice and provides a nice location for getting sun and enjoying a swim. However, the dock is not set up for using a boat. The property is not close to the village of Skaneateles, but it is not a bad drive. Overall, this worked out well for our mini-family reunion. We would use the property again.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. Excellent communication with owner. We did have to scrub the fridge and freezer upon arrival and 2 people stepped on broken glass so we did end up sweeping. 2 things to know, the walk down to the lake is very steep and slippery BUT so beautiful once there! And in the Fall the sun is gone by 11am:( The 2nd bedroom on 1st floor is a very small den w a futon. The apartment is beautiful but while there are gorgeous sliding doors in front of the bunk bed bedroom, you still have to walk into the edge of their room to use the bathroom. Loved having 3 kitchen areas, flowers were gorgeous (we tried to keep them all watered), loved all the bird feeders, especially hummingbird ones. Quick enough ride into town. Home is very comfortable, master bedroom bed on 1st floor was so comfy. Gorgeous views. Loved having corn hole, games and books there. Yes, I could live there!!
Beautiful, well-maintained lakefront house. We had my partner Linda and I (late 50's) and our 4 children, plus one son-in-law. There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone and the common spaces are fantastic. Between the two houses, there are three kitchens. The living rooms are also quite nice. Bathrooms are more "family style" - one on the ground floor of the main house that we used, one on the upper floor that two of the children used and one in the second house which the other three children used. Great place to just stay and chill or to see the rest of the Finger Lakes. We also went to Niagara Falls for a day trip.
Our family had a wonderful time at this property. The houses were beautiful and spotless. The dock area was where we spent most of our time kayaking, swimming, sunning and enjoying the beauty of the area.
