Gulf Front 5 Bed/4 Bath Rental
The Floribbean Beach House is named after its inspirations, Olde Florida and the Caribbean. It has the charm of the Keys with all the amenities you might desire on the Gulf Coast. Within a few minutes you can be jet skiing in your backyard--the Gulf of Mexico, or sipping a cold beer from the beach as you listen to the sound of the waves. All this and less than a 1/4 mile walk to a Doc's beach front restaurant, parasailing and boat rentals. Our 2018 remodel brought brand new furniture, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and cabinetry, bedding, tile plank flooring and updated beach house décor to the upper level. It is a fine mix of modern, sophisticated finishes with a coastal, laid back, beach cottage vibe to help make your stay most enjoyable. If you've ever dreamed of staying or returning to your own private beachfront vacation home, look no further, you've found a little piece of paradise.
The upper level of the home has 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. The lower level has 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. There is a separate entrance for the upper & lower levels. The home has a large decks and spacious bedrooms. We are always available to help with any questions to make your stay more enjoyable.

We have been coming to the Floribbean Beach House for 8years. We first rented the downstairs apartment. Once we rented the upstairs house, we have not been back to the downstairs. We just love this property. It is a gorgeous beach house. The views from the back side of the house are breathtaking. We enjoy watching the people walking, dolphins and manatees swimming by. The water in the Gulf is such a gorgeous color aqua most days, but may be a seaglass green/grey on days that the sea has been churned up. It is ever changing. The shelling is incredible.
This home is perfect for families, girls vacation, or a couples vacation. One of the three bedrooms upstairs has bunk beds. I can't think of anything you would need to make your stay more comfortable. We just love this house and plan to continue vacationing here.
*note* The upstairs porch is full view screen. This would probably not be great for little folks.
Perfect location, sweet little beach house....
We rented the lower level of this beach house for 4 weeks in March/April, and hated to leave! My labrador retriever and I were there for the entire time, and my husband came and went as his business schedule allowed. Two of my grown daughters and a close friend each dropped in for short visits as well. The lower level was the perfect size for us, with 2 full bedrooms, 2 full baths and a small living/kitchen/dining space. We SO enjoyed being right on the beach, and it was great to be able to bring our dog, who is a major part of our family! The entire space is tiled, making it really easy to sweep out any sand he brought in, and he didn't catch a single flea! He enjoyed his stay as much as we did - relaxing in the screened-in lanai, visiting the dog beach (just an 8 minute drive up the road), and occasionally visiting with his new buddy Mowgli (Arlan's Australian Shepherd). Arlan is the property manager, and he made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The people who own the homes on either side of the beach house are very nice as well. Our beach experience was quiet and peaceful, yet we never felt isolated or alone.
Other than being in need of some refreshing and updating, this was a perfect place for us! We've already planned to return again next spring!
Family Christmas 2016
My family of 6 adults, 5 small children (ages 1, 1, 2, 3, 6) and one dog stayed at the Floribbean for 8 days over Christmas. Here are my thoughts on the property:
House location an A.
Property manager an A.
House itself (layout and usable space) a B+.
Dog Friendly an A.
House condition (lights not working, locks on sliding doors not working, water spicket handle missing, oven handle coming off at one end, . . . ) a C-.
Facilitization of house a D.
No HD TV (yes, we're here for the beach, but at night during sport season . . . At this price, the place should have multiple HD tv's and HD service).
The wine cooler was not working.
No Keurig coffee maker (I left the one we purchased for future visitors).
No Dustbuster nor good way to easily keep house dirt/sand free (electric Swifter non-functional); I left the one we purchased for future visitors.
Lights burned out
No baking dishes
No serving utensils
No serving dishes
Dinner dishes badly chipped
Not enough nor a set of wine glasses
Kitchen a disorganized mess . . . drawers and cupboards (this is an absolute F)l
Loose board on downstairs deck . . . dangerous
"Flying flamingo" hanging on back deck is moderately dangerous; 10-12 times, one of the men hit his head on the hanging. Looks great, but should be hung higher.
Minimal provisions for trash, clothes washing, shower soap (kudos for soft soap for hands)
We only used the lower level for sleeping, so I have no good feedback on it other than the window A/C was not the best. Required turning off/on to keep the rooms at the desired temperature.
Floribbean Beach House-Bonita Beach Florida
We stayed in the upper level of the Floribbean Beach House on Bonita Beach, Florida from June 4 - June 11 ,2016. The property was well maintained and well equipped. It's a beautiful, convenient location and we would highly recommend it for anyone who is thinking of a vacation in this part of Florida The local management company is very attentive and promptly answers any questions
Floribbean Beach House Bonita Beach, Fl.
We have been staying at the Floribbean Beach House for more than 7 years now. We had rented the downstairs unit along with another couple. This unit was quaint and had all of the comforts of home. We loved staying here. It is quiet and you are directly on the beach. What more could you need? We have now rented the upstairs unit for a couple of years. Once we stayed upstairs, we fell in love all over again. Same location, even better views. The sunsets in Bonita are just the most beautiful anywhere.
The home is owned by wonderful folks, that we had the pleasure of meeting the first year that they had purchased it. They were so kind and accomodating. They picked up a few things that we had suggested would make the stay a bit nicer. Wonderful, wonderful family. The property manager, Arlan, is just as accomodating. He is available if needed anything, and will come by to just check in on you to make sure that you have everything you need for your stay. I have enoyed meeting him as well as his faithful companion, Mowgli. Mowgli is a handsome Border Collie. What a well behaved guy he is, Arlan is well behaved too.
I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great beach experience. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms in the upstairs unit. The family room is wide open to the dining room and kitchen. We enjoyed playing games and dining together with friends and family, with all of the comforts of home. Breathtaking views of the Bonita Sunsets will keep you entertained nightly. The beach is great for swimming, walking and people watching as well as shelling. There are more shells than you can imagine. (get up early to get the special ones, there are a lot of shellers) Walk to Doc's for lunch or dinner. We enjoyed the blackened Mahi. I know you will love staying at the Floribbean House, we do.
Florribean beach house will have lasting warm, healing, healthy memories for me. Waking to the beauty and sound of the gulf every day is exhilarating. The home is bright, cheerful and decorated with smile inducing whimsy. Sitting on the lanai and watching the dolphins cavort in the gulf, the pelicans dive for their daily meals, the sun lovers walking the beautiful white sand, shell filled beach, the optimistic patient fishermen flanked by egrets and herons is a daily delight. I did not want to leave and continued to extend my stay. I rented only the second story of the house and the lower level was rented by a lovely couple and their two dogs. A large family could easily rent the entire house. Prior to renting this home, I had rented a house down the beach that had recently been updated and was quite lovely. The manager, however, was not and, although the home was not rented following my departure, I chose to find a new home to extend my stay. The manager (Mr. Arlan Bartling) of the next home (Florribean), just down the beach, was the polar opposite. I was greeted with a lovely welcoming note, a bottle of wine, and chocolates. Mr. Bartling was professional, accessible and happy to fulfill any request. You might find that you want to invite Mr. Bartling and his wife over to share a bottle of wine as they are such a gracious couple. The home is an older one and dated in some areas, but the owner and manager will do what ever is needed to supply your needs. I appreciated the two zoned central heat and air as I was there in cool and also quite warm weather. One could keep the bedroom area cool for sleeping without cooling the entire home. If you are a gourmand, the kitchen may be a disappointment although I found I could manage with a little creativity. Two incredible four star restaurants located just five minutes away on Bonita Beach Road - A Table Apart and Wyld's Cafe - are a "must do". Local favorites, Coconut Jack's and Doc's Beach House, are almost next door. The home has just about everything one could want for a home away and I have signed a contract to come back next year. Mr. Bartling manages numerous rentals on the beach and you will do yourself a favor working with him.
Thank you for taking time and writing a thoughtful and comprehensive review. We work hard at making each Clients stay a positive and relaxing experience.
