Very pet friendly cozy cabin located 3/4 mile of city center. Large decks and completely fenced in back yard for your fur babies (No extra charge for pets). The entire backyard is enclosed with a 6 foot wood fence for both privacy and the safety of your pets. Chain link fences are no match for neither your privacy or the safety of your pets if there is a wild animal in the area. Fur babies love it too! This is a sister cabin of Whispering Pines, which is located less than a half mile away.

We had a lovely stay at Jay’s property. The place was clean, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. Jay was great to work with, very accommodating, and made everything easy. It’s a short drive to town and had plenty of room for our dogs. We had dinner and drinks at the Idyllwild Brewpub—definitely a must-go. We’d stay again.

I am a Sales Manager for a company that provides safety equipment to the Police, Fire Fighters, and other companies that require personal safety equipment, as well as gas vapor and flame detection equipment. I live mainly in South Orang County, however; spend a lot of time at Peaceful Pines as well.

Why they chose this property

Peaceful Pines is located in a very peaceful area of Idyllwild, but still close enough to town (3/4 mile) to enjoy all that Idyllwild has to offer. The back yard is very fur baby friendly and is very friendly for BBQ’s or just sitting on the deck and enjoying the wildlife, such as squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, and all types of birds. A special place in IDY for both you and your pets!
