After 3 days there's a mandatory deposit of US$10 (or RD$500) per day for this matter. We read the electricity meter at the check-in in your presence, we read it again together at check-out and you will see how much energy you've used. The cost is RD$14 per each kilowatt (kW) consumed, which is approximately 28¢ in US currency. Just make sure you turn the Lights and the AC off when heading out and the consumption will remain low.
