Hiking weekend

The house is centrally located to town, restaurants, hiking. Erik is terrific . Helpful and knowledgeable. I would stay there again. I definitely recommend. Back deck is wonderful for soaking up the sun with a beer!

Great Place for Girls Weekend

We stayed here with a group of four for a girls weekend to Harpers Ferry. Had a wonderful stay. We were able to make multiple meals at the house and have them on the patio on the second floor. The third floor has really nice picture window with a Great view. Alse great proximity to downtown Harpers Ferry and shops and restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great Weekend Getaway for our Family

We had a wonderful stay over MLK weekend. House was extremely clean and bright and was well stocked. Great views of the mountains, especially beautiful w/ snow! Erik made sure our family had a great stay, even lending us some sleds for the kids which they loved. The snow storm resulted in our car getting stuck at the bottom of the hill and Erik so kindly helped us retrieve it and drive it to safety. He went above and beyond. Our 4yo cried when we had to leave but we hope to be back to explore the area in some less frigid temperatures.

Unique Harpers Ferry Vacation Home

We loved our weekend stay at this house. Located in Bolivar about a mile away from downtown Harpers Ferry, the property was perfect for our getaway. Note that the bedrooms and family seating are upstairs from the main floor, and only accessible using a spiral staircase or outside steps, and that the floors and steps are not carpeted. Fully stocked kitchen and laundry facilities, along with multiple bathrooms with plenty of linens and towels provided were appreciated. Owner lives nearby and is genuinely invested in the quality of the renter's experience. Be sure to visit the local restaurants including a laid-back barn offering local music and beverages (especially the Country Cafe for breakfast).

OMG! The location is fantastic! 15min walk to Historic Harper's Ferry. However, we actually drove to the Visitors Center where you can park and hop a bus to the village. It runs every 10-15 minutes until 7p! There is hardly any parking available in the historic area. Plan for a full day. The HOUSE! It was very very clean! It has a really cool sprial staircase! A porch with view of the mountains. The misty morning views in the mountains will be blazed in my memory forever. It was very well equipped for your every need.

Harpers Ferry Rental

Long weekend gettaway for two couples~ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property was very clean, had absolutely everything we needed and was in walking distance to almost everything we wanted to do. The owner's were great and lived near by if we needed anything. The propane grill was a nice plus & the storage room was perfect for keeping our outdoor gear. We would definetely recommend this rental! :)

Excellent location close to Harper’s Ferry. Close walk to local restaurants and Bolivar bakery (great cinnamon rolls). Home is fully furnished and very quaint. Loved the deck off the bedroom. Enjoyed seeing deer wander in the yard, the beautiful mountains, and sky view. Very peaceful area. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here.

Great location

We had a great New Years weekend here and loved our stay. The house was perfect for a quiet get away with plenty to do around us. Erik gave us some great suggestions for things to do around us and they were all great. There is tons of hiking right there along with being able to walk right down into Harper's Ferry and explore. The house itself was well stocked in the kitchen and the bedrooms. We had a great time and look forward to coming back again soon!

Had a wonderful weekend at this property. Definitely echo other reviews that it was the cleanest and best stocked rental we have stayed in. Wonderful location waking distance to town, which is extremely important given limited parking in lower town during busy fall weekends. A quick note that stairs in the home would definitely be tough for older adults or small children.

The place was incredibly clean and organized. It is very basic but exactly what we needed. We met Eric our first night there and he gave us suggestions for places to eat and chatted with us for a bit. My husband and I would stay here again if we came back to Harpers Ferry.

Super clean and well appointed!

The apartment was perfect for our group of 4 friends. It was amazingly clean and well organized with everything we needed. We loved using the balcony deck with a beautiful view. The location is great too within walking distance of all Harpers Ferry has to offer. The owner Eric welcomed us and let us know he was available close by. A wonderful experience!

This is the perfect rental for younger families with kids - they even had colored kid plates...as long as your kids are old enough to navigate spiral steps. Owner is incredibly responsive and even let us leave our cars a bit after check out to squeeze in one more hike. If you're looking for an easy rental with all the basics provided, this is it. Admittedly it's not overly decorated or fussy, but with young kids that's perfect. Thanks, Erik!
