About the host
Hosted by Shannon Falk
We all have third chapters, and Seneca Falls is mine. Last July I set out in my jeep from California to attend a Tony Robbins seminar in Chicago and I just kept heading East inspired to start something new in my early fifties, and so as I bucket listed my way cross country I ended up here in Seneca Falls falling in love with this very special mansion and all of its vast history. Strange but true story.
Why they chose this property
This mansion has for 150 year been something of a mystery where outsiders weren't let in. It has a mural room that is a mystery I am still unraveling as the whole thing is hand painted and signed 1800's chinoiserie. As it was owned by the founder of Gould Pumps and Seabury S Gould was on the board of directors for the Met in NYC the mural is something of an obsession. Who painted it?
What makes this property unique
If you want to launch a wine tasting tour but come home at night and feel like you are having a 'night at the museum' then this is the place for you!
