The house was great!! Location was perfect since we had someone with limitations. Nice to have a pool after being at the beach. The only thing that was different from other houses we rented, there was no laundry detergent supplied. Overall, great trip!

This property accommodated our family of 14 quite well. Ample parking for four vehicles. The kitchen was very well stocked which made cooking a meal very easy. Thank you to a previous guest for giving us a heads up about the step down in the two bedrooms on the lower level. The lower level door, which leads to the pool area, could use a new handle and lock. This was a concern since we had young children on that floor. There was a door chime. The outside is spacious and the pool was used a lot by our grandchildren; however, the area could have used a good cleaning (esp the table and chairs). There is a sign that the AC had to remain on 72 degrees and I’m not sure that was disclosed on the listing. We did contact ocean reef and were allowed to turn it down to 70. We had one other issue and ocean reef was very fast to take care of it.Two entrances very close to the property for beach access. No beach chairs or umbrellas are available so you either bring them or rent them.Overall we had a very good time and are happy with our choice to rent this home.

This house was awesome!

This house was awesome…the space was well designed and very welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Lots of outdoor seating on multiple balconies and around pool. Beach access was close by. Great stay!!

Family Beach Reunion

I cannot say enough great things about Blue Water Escape. The entire experience was top notch from start to finish and the location was perfect for our family’s beach getaway! Communication with the property management was so easy and they made the experience seamless. I would highly recommend this property for large groups!

The property was an hour late being cleaned and we had to unload our car on wet slippery floors with many wet stairs. The bottom floor bedrooms are recessed with a step down that is not marked so our Grandfather promptly fell and tore up his arm and was bleeding all over the place... Others fell for same reason entering into those bedrooms. We also had no wash clothes or hand towels for three days after repeatedly calling about numerous issues with no return calls. There was trash on the deck that was missed on arrival. The beach access was not functional. We had stayed in this neighborhood before but since then they have put up a barrier so the beach access is around the corner and down the road, or you climb the steep grassy hill and go under the fence. Too many steps, and the main living area is small so not all of us fit. The house is beautifully decorated and kitchen well appointed, but we will not stay here again for all the reasons stated.

This house is amazing?

The photos don’t do it justice! We loved the decks and pool patio (beautiful view of the ocean), spacious kitchen, gorgeous bathrooms, plenty of partaking, quick walk to the beach, 5 min drive to get groceries.

Location is perfect.

The house was great inside but the outside needs some more effort and clean up. The pool and grill were a complete mess when we arrived but the pool service vendor did a great job of getting the pool back in order and made a follow up visit to check on us. Overall, a great experience.

Excellent location and amazing house

This was our second stay at this house. This time was special as we got married on the beach during our stay. The house and location are amazing. We had a great time and the house was perfect size for 8 adults with plenty of room for more. The outside of the house needs power washed in the worse way. The pool lights didn’t work and the cooking pans needs replaced but I would definitely stay again. Thank you for providing a perfect location and house for our special trip..

Perfect for Multi Family Vacation

This is our 2nd year to stay at this house. We love the location. The house is gorgeous and neighborhood is quiet. This visit we had a lot of struggles with hot water. We didn’t have that problem last year and we had the same 20 people in the house last year. The property manager came out twice which was appreciated.

Destin friend trip

This was a beautiful home in a very nice location. We all enjoyed our trip very much. Our only complaint was that the home needs to be deep cleaned. The floors have not been cleaned well for quit some time I would guess. With the coronavirus I feel now homes need to be deep cleaned with each stay.

The realness of Ocean Reef

Ocean Reef offered a very beautiful and clean house, however we had to kill three big water bugs. You also need to bring everything because all that was supplied in the home was towels. The mattresses are extremely horrible and they leave you with one roll of tissue per bathroom and one roll of paper towels. With the amount of money that the place takes in a month you would think that they would have better mattresses and cookware, as well as supply at least one roll of tissue per house guess. The pool should have also been cleaned out before arrival because it was not As clean as it should have been.

We had an amazing stay! House was perfect for our group and so pretty. Everyone had their own bed/room with plenty of bathrooms and lots of towels.Check in was super simple and text reminders were niceSuggestions I’d make: Cleaning prior to our stay wasn’t the greatest. Our feet were black and sandy hours after arrival, and there was some dried food on cabinets/fridge. Overall it wasn’t filthy, just could use a little bit more of a thorough clean. Rooms were clean and so were bathrooms minus the floors, however I did have an empty can of alcohol under a cart in the master bathroom that was missed during cleaning.There was an elevator we noticed but said isn’t available to guests. This would have been amazing to have means we had 3 kids under 2. Getting groceries and luggage up for the week would have been easier as well. Going up and down 4 flights of stairs multiple times a day was a little rough. Just be prepared if you have someone who can’t get up and down stairs well.I would also suggest the pool be cleaned at least once through the week for guest staying an entire week. It was getting pretty dirty mid week despite us using the net to keep it as clean as we could. We loved the heating option. Definitely worth the extra 300. The pool lights are hiding behind a bush. We didn’t find it until half way through our trip. Could also use more baking sheets, measuring spoons/cups, and baking utensils. There were lots of cups, plates, bowls, pots and pans. Thanks again!

Our family vacation

The house was nice. Everything was neat and clean. Pool was nice and the children enjoyed it. Parking was perfect for the amount of cars we had. The location of the house was perfect. Everything was near and didn't have to travel so far. Beach was right across the street. Heads up, the elevator doesn't work. But our overall experience was great.
