⛔️ CANCELLATION POLICY
- Refunds: Full refund for cancellations made 30+ days before check-in. 50% refund for cancellations made 7–14 days prior (depending on channel partner). No refunds within 14 days. Non-Refundable Option is not refundable.
- Process: Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Mt. Maplewood Lake House and confirmed through the booking system. Applicable taxes and credit card fees are retained and remitted.
- Early Departure: Nights not used are non-refundable.
- Deposit & Insurance: $500 refundable damage deposit required. Optional Accidental Damage Insurance available.
- Acknowledgment: By booking, guests agree to this policy and the rental agreement.

Perfect vacation spot for families!

The house was absolutely perfect for our families! Well equipped and right on the lake with boats and life jackets of all sizes and a fantastic beach with swimming access that we could boat to. The house was exactly as pictured and advertised and the host was very communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Home was very comfortable and clean . The lake was beautiful.. easy access to canoes and kayak . Enjoyable local hikes and day in nearby Jim Thorpe. It was very easy to get in touch with Ricky and he was always receptive and helpful. We really enjoyed the spacious hot tub.. perfect for our group of 7. Highly recommended.

Girls Weekend

We had a wonderful family vacation at this beach house(5 days). They have everything you need for a day on the lake. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing over to the beach. The lake is on the small size which worked well for our family. The game room was a blast with lots of family competitions. They provided extensive information regarding local activities which made it very easy to plan our trip. The kids loved the ATV tour and we all enjoyed hiking to the waterfalls. Lovely vacation

Family vacation

My family of 9 people had great time at Mt Maplewood. Ricky was so helpful before we arrived and although we didn’t need him during our stay I’m sure he would have been very attentive if we needed him. The arrival and departure process was very easy. The house was great and the yard and lake so peaceful. We really wanted a low key vacation and that’s exactly what we got. Recommend !

Beautiful area. Perfect view of the lake from in and oit of the home. The house was clean and maintained very well. The price was a bit high for only 2 nights. I completely understand the reason for the higher cost then other places. I could tell the owner of the home takes pride in the property and wants anyone staying there to do the same. We had a great time. The view is great. We didn’t get to use the lake because it was cold. The game room offered an alternative source of entertainment during the chilly nights. The host was friendly and helpful.

I grew up in upstate NY, lived in NYC for 15 years then moved to Maplewood with my family. We also have family in the Poconos and love enjoying what every season has to offer, but in the summer we also love to be on the lake. We are 5 extended families that use our homes yearly and share them when we not vacationing. There is so much to do every season from skiing, golfing and waterparks, to sailing, concerts and biking or tennis. We will give you access to our Mt. Maplewood Lodge site that has year round activities listed and updated seasonally.
