Villa Stein, luxury vacation home in beautiful Cabo San Lucas, is nestled on a one of a kind piece of property in Pedregal,where time seems to stand still, overlooking the Southern most tip of Baja California with a breathtaking, unparalleled view of the Sea of Cortez meeting the Pacific Ocean.
Every year, between December and April, the humpback and gray whales make an epic journey from the frigid waters of Alaska to the warm lagoons of Mexico. Come to Villa Stein and get a front row view of the whales from our pool deck.

Villa Stein is located in one of the most prestigious residential sections of Cabo San Lucas, 'The Pedregal.' The open ocean offers a variety of entertainment ranging from watching the whales frolic in the surf to counting the boats as they return to harbor at the end of the day. Our pool is cantilevered over the beach to take advantage of the location and a swim up bar makes it the perfect spot to spend the day. There is also a hot tub outside that cascades into the pool.

Take a water taxi from Medano Beach to Lovers Beach where you can snorkel, swim then return to 'The Office' and sip on a Margarita and enjoy Typical Mexican Platos

Daily housekeeping service is provided by our friendly staff. They will take care of making beds, changing towels and linens and general maintenance of the home. A chef is available with prior notice, as well as in home spa service. Our Non-Smoking rental home is designed to easily accommodate groups ranging from two to eight, depending on your room selection. We only rent to one party at a time to insure privacy for our guests.
One floor of the home is locked off as this is where we live. No photos of this floor are shown. We will not be in residence when the villa is booked.

Unbelievable house with the most gorgeous views of the water and mountains. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The rental comes with a daily cleaning from the housekeeper who always did a magnificent job. In addition, Ismael, the concierge, is there on a daily basis who will provide you with anything you need. These services which are included with your rental, made our trip that much more nice. Caroline, the host and homeowner, is amazing. Anytime I text her, she responded immediately. Don’t hesitate to book your stay at this stunning house. I will definitely book this house again upon our next trip to Cabo.

Villa Stein is beautiful! The views are breathtaking and the staff Ismael and Martha are very accommodating and were wonderful to have with us. The place is gorgeous and our family had the best vacation ever.

The views - oh the views!

I could have sat on the balcony watching whales forever. We saw countless whales (bring your binoculars!), stingray, owl, sea birds, hummingbirds and countless other creatures from the comfort of the house. It was INCREDIBLY clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend!!!

Stunning setting for peace and relaxation

This property has the most amazing views. It’s structured in a way that their is plenty of privacy for everyone as the bedrooms are all quite separate. The pool and hot tub area are.great for enjoying both day and night. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Ishmael makes fabulous margaritas. It was a lovely spot for vacation and I hope to be able to return again sometime.

The perfect experience

This house was perfect for us. It fit 4 couples perfectly, in a beautiful quiet gated community close to town. Unbelievable location and views with a pool and Jacuzzi. What else could you ask for? The owner/host was incredibly helpful and nice and it all went very smoothly. Highly recommended.

The view, pool, and location in Pedregal make this one fantastic home. Cant say enough about the view from poolside and the pics dont do it justice. Great place to stay for families and Ismael (caretaker) is there to assist with anything you might need. Caroline was wonderful to work with and made all the necessary arrangements available in a timely manner. Will definately rent this home again!

Stunning setting!

We had such a wonderful stay at Villa Stein. The views are breathtaking, watching the sunrise every morning from the pool deck plus the whale watching daily, its all perfect. We had 4 couples which was a great set up with the 4 separate suites. The staff is very helpful cleaning, navigating taxi rides and on hand for any additional services you may need. We took daily walks through the gated community, the views are stunning and we felt very safe. The hot tub and pool were just what we needed after a day of golf or to relax by during the evening. It's just a short cab ride in to downtown Cabo. We highly recommend staying here and we can't wait to return.

Trip of a lifetime!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Stein in Cabo San Lucas, with three other couples, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. This was our first time renting a villa instead of staying at a resort, and it couldn't have been more perfect. From the moment we booked until the time we left, the service we received was exceptional. Caroline, Ishmal, and Patty went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless, and their communication and customer service were impeccable. Villa Stein itself is stunning, with breathtaking views and luxurious amenities that made our stay truly unforgettable. If you're considering a villa in Cabo, I highly recommend booking Villa Stein or another property managed by Caroline. You won't regret it! What a memorable stay in our favorite place!

Hard to leave Heaven

We had such a wonderful stay! A beautiful property in a beautiful neighborhood!!! We loved the pool & hot tub, every single day. Whales jumping and swimming everywhere! Plus dolphins. We had fireworks right off the pool from a wedding on the beach. Great fishing trip- caught a marlin! No work, no stress no searching they organized and assisted with everything!!!! We just were lazy and loved life! Plus, Ismael made amazing drinks n food!!!! The owners did occupy their portion of the home a few days, but were out of sight & out of mind. I guess you could say it’s a townhouse (as we say in the Midwest) when your house is connected to another. Meaning the owners quarters were above us. But this was disclosed from the beginning. I would definitely go back!!! Already missing it!

Perfection

The property sits on a rocky promontory with a spectacular view of Lands End, the ocean and the beach. Whale watching is easy from the pool deck. The gated community keeps everything nice and peaceful. There are 4 very nice suites, three of which have excellent views. They have nice physical separation if you need some alone time. The beach in the view is not accessible but there is access to a very nice beach on the other side of the community. You can walk to the beach if you want a short hike or drive as there is parking there. Downtown Cabo is a 5 minute drive away. You can walk into downtown as well but be prepared for the hike up the hill on the return. The owners are super nice and take pride in this property with such a preeminent location. There is satellite TV in every room and the WIFI works very well. There are 2 staff available for guest services if you choose. There is a Weber gas grill for cooking out and a fully equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed and more ie there were fireworks from the beach 3 nights a week. Our entire family had a wonderful time.

Resort Living. Great place.

Couple of things to know about the place. First its not laid out like a typical house. It more like a resort where each room has its own entrance from the outside. Except one bedroom that is connected to the living and kitchen down by the pool. We were adult couples so it was great as everyone had great privacy from each other but still got to hang out in a house environment. They also have a caretaker and maid that cleans your room everyday. Ismail makes an amazing shrimp ceviche. I would highly recommend having Martha and Ismael do breakfast and cooking if you want to stay in and relax. The owner is great. She really helped with with pre trip planning from groceries, restaurants and recommending companies to do stuff with. The pool view is amazing. Watching the sunrise is a must. The only bad part which really is not bad, is the taxis are a little pricey getting into town. $20 -$30 for a short ride. But Uber back up is on $4. I recommend just having Ismael order the taxis then Ubering back up. You do see whales in February from the pool. The Property feels and runs more like a resort than a house.

Paradise during a pandemic

With all the concerns about travel and safety during Coronavirus, our mouths dropped open when we walked out onto the deck of Villas Stein. It's all about the views- ALL DAY LONG! From the most beautiful sunrises over the Pacific Ocean, whale watching from the pool deck,and fireworks in the evenings from local hotels, we were happy to shelter in place at this fine house. Ismael, the caretaker of the house greeted us at our arrival and took care of all our needs - from margaritas in the afternoons to a late run for forgotten toiletries, he made sure we felt safe and all of our needs met. Martha, our housekeeper, was quick and prompt cleaning our rooms daily that we hardly saw her, but we slept on IRONED bed sheets! The house is on a cliff in a Pedregal - a safe gated community overlooking the Waldorf . Even though the Waldorf boasts of its views, we felt like queens of the world overlooking the property. Caroline and William our hosts, were very responsive to all of our questions and flexible with requests with changing times during Covid. The house is surrounded by more modern homes, but we felt the colors of the house and vibrant landscaping captured the beauty of Baja California and voted to have the best views. We were delighted to "shelter in place" here for 5 days. It was so hard to leave and look forward to coming back to this beautiful point of paradise.

Spectacular views and priceless service

My wife and I brought 3 of our teenage daughters and their friends! Caroline, the home owner, was very helpful. The staff at the house were very helpful, polite and friendly. We would Highly recommend using the chef. Prices are very reasonable and the food was fabulous! You can’t beat the location .....you are only minutes away from the heart of Cabo. This would be a great house for 4 couples as well. Our family made great memories together that will last a lifetime! This is the place to get!

Incredible property in Pedregal

We had a fantastic stay at the iconic Villa Stein. None of the pictures can do justice to the incredible views you will enjoy. Bill and Caroline were very easy to work with, and Ishmael was tremendously helpful with anything you need, from reservations to laundry, cooking to fresh towels. Our four bedroom experience consisted of the entire first floor at pool level, which houses one bedroom. And then three one bedroom suites on the top level, all of which are private and my kids loved that. The sunrise each morning is life changing. You will love your stay here.

Amazing view, incredible pool, lots of privacy!

I couldn't be any happier with this house! Caroline (the owner) was extremely responsive with questions about the property throughout the booking process and very attentive after we booked as well. She connected me with Claudia, the concierge for the house, who gave us all the info we needed and helped us book a personal chef service (DO IT!!!). When we arrived, there were margaritas, quesadillas, and fresh guacamole waiting for us. The caretaker/groundskeeper Ishmael was very nice, helped with our bags, etc. Just a heads up - Ishmael is kind of "around" all the time, checking in on things. This wasn't a negative by any means - it was nice because he's there to help if you need anything - but I wouldn't plan on walking around naked! The VIEW...I mean, the pictures nail it. It's an incredible view and you can enjoy the beach without getting sand in your suit! The pool is perfect and the fact that there's a swim-up bar... mean, that's just icing on the cake. A note about the pool - all the floats we brought with us had a green ring on them after just a little while in the pool. White swimsuits turned a bit green as well. I don't think it's a big issue, but I wouldn't wear a brand-spanking new swimsuit if you're gonna hang out in the pool all day. There's a ton of privacy between rooms. Each room is separate from the common areas, so it's very private. OH! There are 3-4 different levels, so be prepared for a lot of stairs - I actually loved this, because you really won't want to leave this incredible house, so the stairs are the only activity you'll get! Location: it's a very short drive to grocery shopping (Walmart, Costco, local stores). Getting in/out of the neighborhood takes about 5 minutes because it's up in the hills, but once you figure it out, it's not a big deal. (The neighborhood is gated with security.) I can't say enough good things about this place - I would definitely stay here again!

Spectacular!

We never wanted to leave this stunning property. The stunning location, views and pool bar were the highlight of our vacation. There is nothing comparable to enjoying morning coffee or afternoon margaritas from the pool deck overlooking the beach and ocean. Topping off the visit were the well appointed rooms and helpful staff - perfect! We'll be back!

BOOK THIS UNBELIEVABLY GORGEOUS VILLA!!!

Oh my gosh, completely amazing. A group of 6 very discerning women went for a 50th birthday celebration and could not have been more ecstatic with the Villa Stein. It offers the most amazing view and pool set-up imaginable . . . completely cantilevered off of a cliff . . . this cannot be beat! The online pictures were nice; however, the villa is much nicer in person. The rooms are modern and inviting. The layout of the various rooms was not apparent online. Three rooms are on the top level while the pool, hot tub and kitchen/living room/master bedroom is downstairs and accessed by an absolutely gorgeous outside walk. Don't let the stairs scare you. They add to the ambience of being on vacay and are adorned with flowers and a gorgeous scene of tropical trees blowing in the wind and the ocean. And the whales - saw them breaching almost every time we looked for them over a 5 day stay in February! Whales . . . right from your hot tub and pool! We literally looked at about 100 villas online before booking as we wanted the perfect spot for our hard-to-please group. We could not have been happier. I almost never want to return to the same place twice because there are so many amazing places to see in the world, but I would 1000% (that's right, one thousand percent) go back to the Villa Stein. It's divine - whether you want a relaxing quiet trip or whether you want to turn up the music and have a good time!

Christmas week in Cabo!

We arrived with no problems to beautiful Villa Stein and were greeted by their friendly staff with blended margaritas and smiles. The Villa has the most beautiful view in Cabo, many gorgeous rooms with Queen beds and luxurious appointments. We had our family and friends, but could have organized many couples to stay and enjoy. The Villa has use of an off the beaten path beach which was gorgeous, and a beautiful spa center where we could work out of have treatments. Close to town, gated and safe, we would return often!

Outstanding home, service and view

The house was beautiful and very well-kept. Ismael and Martha (house staff) were friendly and extremely helpful. The view from the patio was gorgeous. The house was close enough to the downtown scene so it was very convenient to go down and grab dinner and drinks, but far enough away so you could experience a quiet and peaceful night on the patio. I would highly recommend this house and will be returning myself.
