Cute cabin in great location
We had a wonderful stay at this cute cabin. The location is perfect. It’s on the river, just off the freeway and close to Pagosa Springs and Wolf Creek. It was the perfect size, well stocked and not super fancy.
Perfect place to stay for a family of five. Hot tub was a nice touch, especially after a long day of hiking. No AC but really not needed for the cooler mountain temps. Box fans in closets if you need air circulation. Close to town but away far enough to feel out in the country.
Cabin by the San Juan
The perfect place to relax, unplug from daily events, and recharge.
A Mixed Bag
The location was great, and we especially enjoyed the neighborhood and river access. The area felt safe for our children to run and bike. The hot tub was very enjoyable. On the downside, we had trouble with mice getting into our food at night. We couldn't leave any items (wrapped or unwrapped) on the counters and needed to store everything in the fridge or microwave --several items had to be throw away. There were also bugs in the cabinets. To make matters more challenging, there was no outdoor trashcan or scheduled trash pick-up (according to an e-mail exchange w the management co.); therefore, we had to haul our trash in town, especially with the rodent/bug issue in mind. The sheets & towels were very worn. Overall, it was a nice vacation, but we'll look for other accommodations next time.
Cabinets were cleaned out. Orkin is working on the mice issue. Housekeeping is on constant lookout as well.
Cabin is rustic but in a nice neighborhood and right on the river. It's a bit of a drive into town but that is part of the appeal. Kitchen well equipped. Wifi present but a bit spotty throughout the house. Grill present but we didn't use it during our stay.
PARADISE!!! We booked your Cabin Jan. 22nd - 28th and we had the greatest time. The Cabin and location is just perfect and surely a true gem from Pagosa Springs. The back of the house has a magnificent view of the river... it felt like a home away from home and it had everything we could possibly need. it Was so relaxing and comfy.
The Cabin is kept immaculately clean. We highly recommend this rental and we can't wait to come back to visit. We give it 5 + Stars.
