Great place to stay! Beautiful area and fun to walk. We walked with our dogs all around the area. The house has a great backyard area that is fenced in and the dogs loved being able to roam around it. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. The host was excellent with communication and the house had all the necessary items to make for a pleasant stay.
Very spacious, clean, nicely updated, and very well equipped. Location is walking to downtown for eating and shopping. Also, not far drive to the beach. Would stay again when in town!
The Red Door is a fantastic Vrbo. We park the car in the driveway and walk everywhere - to downtown, the waterfront, numerous local restaurants with a variety of price points, museums, etc. Besides location, the amenities are top notch. The kitchen is well-equipped, linens are plentiful, living room seating is comfortable. It’s a wonderful choice.
Beautiful historical house in a quality neighborhood. The host was so accommodating and gave great advice on local eateries and things to do. Easy to get around town from the house. Super cute!
The Red Door was a great place to stay in Downtown Pensacola. The property manager, Gloria, was responsive, helpful, and very pleasant. The location was great and very walkable to nearby restaurants, parks, and shops. The 150 year old home has lots of charm compared to many of the newer rentals downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home, manager, and owners.
Great time in the historic district of downtown Pensacola. A beautiful, historic home in walking distance to top restaurants and a short drive to the beach. We loved our stay!
Everyone loved the house: our family, our dog, our friends. The location is perfect for walking to everything downtown and the accommodations were wonderfully comfortable.
Great property for a family stay. Very nice layout and yard. Close to everything you could need while in town. Host was very helpful and all communications were flawless. We will absolutely stay again in the future.
RED door “Hawkins house” circa 1880, is the finest in town craftsman, bungalow house we’ve ever stayed in. Our son attends UWF - 15 min away from this house: it was perfect. two blocks to the bay, walk in the parks, five minute walk downtown, 10 minute walk to the wahoo stadium; walkable restaurants, one minute away, sushi, pubs, local Mexican & live music, one minute away. This place is amazing : took a 3 hour boat ride over at Pensacola beach; Centrally located & definitely will be back - loved our three day getaway, vacationing from the forgotten coast of Florida.
Spacious property in a cute, very walkable neighborhood. Perfect location for visiting family in the area. Easy drive to Pensacola Beach and NAS Pensacola. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
The property is just absolutely wonderful. Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location and nothing could have been better. Lovely trip!! Thanks to the property owner/manager for making this such a lovely time for our family.
Great stay. Perfect for our family needs. The home is beautifully decorated and clean. We especially loved our walks through the historic neighborhood.

Fantastic Stay at the Red Door House in Historic Pensacola
Very well kept historic home. It has great character and is in a fantastic location for both downtown Pensacola and the beach--we enjoy both.
Gloria is the best property manager too.
Thank you--we will be back!
This historic home, and in particular its location, exceeded our expectations. We’ve been coming to Pensacola for 20 years, but never stayed in the downtown area. We were able to walk to endless food options and the bustle of downtown. We live in a historic home, so we’re partial to that kind of charm… but this home is beautiful and clean and roomy and cozy.

This home was recently up for sale, and we fell in love with it from the moment we walked in the Red Door! We have lovingly decorated the house with warm contemporary furnishing that is fresh, welcoming, and beautiful.
