An absolutely charming historic home. We loved the beautiful details and the quiet neighborhood. Ferney the host was so accommodating with the few little requests we had. The pool in back was particularly tranquil. We stayed for over two weeks and felt right at home!

Overall a beautiful and charming stay for a small women’s retreat of 4 ladies. Not ideal for 6 guests unless it’s couples staying in the two allotted bedrooms. The pull out couch was very uncomfortable, but the host assured that they would add a topper to make the experience more accommodating to future guests. Very nice and communicative host and owner. Property was well stocked, clean and thoughtfully decorated.

Charming and thoughtfully decorated property ideal for small group getaways, with clean accommodations, strong communication, and a well-stocked home for guests to enjoy. Feedback regarding the pull-out sofa bed comfort was taken into consideration, and a mattress topper has since been added to further improve future guest accommodations.

Super cute rental. Located in a nice residential part of town. Easy to drive to local markets and beaches. Very clean. Kitchen stocked with essentials to cook meals at home. Was great to have a pool and the pool patio was very relaxing. Upgraded shower was fantastic. Pull out couch was not comfortable for sleeping. Owner responds quickly and is easy to reach.

This house was SO CUTE. I loved that the home was historical. The host stocked it with everything you would ever need. We loved coming back to comfortable beds, a full kitchen, and a pool to dip your feet in. Highly recommend this place.

Very pleasant stay

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. It is centrally located nicely between the West Palm beach downtown and also Rivera Beach/Singer Island. Very cozy and quaint place located in a nice quiet neighborhood. If ever coming back to this area, we will definitely try to stay at this VRBO listing again.

Beautiful, Clean & charming property

We loved our stay. The home has everything you need to have a wonderful stay. We grilled on the first night, cooked on the second night and enjoyed the pool everyday. Just a wonderful get away and perfect spot to visit students at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Quality property in quiet area

Very nice property with all amenities needed. Ferney was a great host, communicated well and was extremely nice. Location was quiet and easy to get to. Old world feel definitely with decor and style of the house, very nice.

We had such an amazing stay here. The architecture and charm of the property completely won us over. It has so much character, but still feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed.The house was incredibly well stocked. Every little thing we needed was already there, which made the whole trip feel effortless. You can tell the host truly cares about the guest experience. They were attentive, responsive, and made everything seamless from check-in to check-out.One of our favorite parts was getting to meet the other guests staying in the cottages. It added such a fun, welcoming vibe to the stay.Everything about this place felt easy and special. Since I can't afford that luxury yet, I'm a web designer/graphic designer by trade. My wife is a paralegal and real estate agent.

Why they chose this property

We have stayed in enough places to know what people like and want from their vacation experience. When we purchased Vieja Escuela we knew that it would be a success because its proximity to the airport, downtown, restaurants, beach and other entertainment venues. We fell in love with the charm and character of this house and wanted to turn it into a vacation paradise. What gives this home its character are all the rustic features and decor to match it. We understand that many people want to experience the latest technology and shiny new floors and amenities, but there's something about the imperfections of old home that make it alluring.

What makes this property unique

The proximity to shops, entertainment and restaurants make this place a great choice for families. We have paid attention to detail when selecting the furniture so that it would compliment the Spanish-style home. The pool renovation has really brought the house to life so that our guests can enjoy Florida's beautiful weather.
