Spent the bulk of our time outside, enjoying the beautiful view and listening to the lake lap the shore. Property had just about everything one could need to make meals, relax and have a fun vacation. We’re hoping to stay again next summer.

Hello chuck,
Thank you so much for your kind review. We hope to welcome you and your family back again soon!
Lake breezes and unbeatable views! Comfortable, beachy, well equipped cabin right on the lake--great family (and Pet) get away! Not far from Plattsburgh, Ausable Chasm, and a Ferry ride to Burlington. The only thing that may be an issue for some is the stairs to and from the cabin! Not for the faint of heart! Had a great week--Thank you!!
The house was great for 3 couples and you couldn't beat the location on the lake. If you go during the warm months, take fans for the 2 upstairs bedrooms. AC does not reach those rooms.

Me and my wife spend a really nice long weekend at this place, and it was a perfect fit for what we were looking for - house, lake, nature around, hikes. Our cat loved it as well!

Hello Fiodar,
Thank you so much for the kind review & thank you for keeping the house so tidy! We are glad you & your family had a wonderful time (including kitty). We hope to see you again soon for some time out on the lake:)
The Hynes Family
The house was perfect for our family vacation. The view of the lake from the deck was so nice to see every morning, afternoon, and evening. There were plenty of outdoor chairs for us and our family.
My husband, dog and I stayed over Memorial weekend. House was clean and access to the lake was fantastic. Lots of great amenities such as kayaks, paddle board which we didn’t use. Communication with property owner was great and quick. Overall very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Kindest Regards,

Beautiful location, crashing waves to fall asleep to, beautiful sunrise and songbirds in the morning. The house warmed up quickly when the weather turned colder.
We really enjoyed our week at the lake. We used the kayaks, had nighttime fires on the beach, coffee on the deck, and breakfast and lunch using the kitchen. Our family of 5 was very comfortable. The views from the lake are amazing! Thanks for sharing your home.
House is clean with amazing views. We rented a boat and took it to Burlington and around the lake. Brewery and winery near by. Quiet neighborhood. Loved it

Thank you so much for your review! We truly enjoyed hosting you and your family and am so glad you ended up being able to get a boat to Burlington, I bet the ride was great! The brewery is awesome and the winery has some of the best views! We hope to welcome you again soon.
We were happy to return to this amazing place and are hoping to come again at some point!
This time, with all COVID19 restrictions we finally had a chance to try the paddle boat and it was amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at the property and recharged with kayaking and swimming. Lake Champlain was very clean and relatively warm this week. Hopeful to return next year!
should warn about the steep driveway and amount of stairs those of us with bad hips and knees had trouble, not sandy beach- rocks.wonderful plACE

Hello Susan,
Thank you for your feedback! We acknowledge that the driveway is quite steep and that the stairs might be a bit challenging. I’ll make sure to include additional information about this in our listing to better inform future guests.
We hope you had a wonderful time otherwise! Please let us know if there's anything else we can do for you.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
The listing should be straight forward about the steep driveway and the three outdoor sets of stairs to access the camp and the additional three sets of stairs to access the lake. The view of Lake Champlain is beautiful. The camp has three bedrooms and two bathrooms which were great, but the living spaces are more suited to four people. There is no where for six people to sit together and eat a meal. There is no outdoor table. Finally the kitchenis lacking basics, like knives for chopping, glases for wine or a mixed drink. Also, the starter on the barbeque did not work so we also had to buy a lighter for the barbeque. Also, the laundry requirig 0.50 coins is ridiculous. Again, the setting is beautiful.
