This was the perfect property for our short stay. The views were beautiful and house was so comfortable. We had our older parents with us so the steps getting down to the house were quite steep and a little harder than expected, but they lead you to a wonderful home and property. It’s incredibly peaceful and memorable. Highly recommend this home!

Nice house in a lovely spot. The view was great and we had lovely walks in the morning. Plenty of space for 5 people. Somewhat minimal kitchen supplies. The driveway and the steps to the house are quite steep so use caution. Good communication with the host.

I have stayed at various rentals throughout the Adirondacks for over 20 years. This rental had the best water for swimming and the most picturesque view (of Vermont) that I have ever seen. We enjoyed the home, the porch, the kayaks and the general sights of the Adirondack mountains nearby. We enjoyed our week immensely and can’t say enough about the week. We had beautiful weather almost all week so that helped us do what we like most….be outside. Be aware, if you have limited mobility, the stairs to the house and the stairs to the lake might present a challenge. Other than that, have a great time.

We’re so glad you were able to enjoy the porch, kayaks, beautiful weather, and plenty of time outside during your stay. It was truly a pleasure hosting you, and we’d be so happy to welcome you back again!

I wish I could give more stars for this home. House was a perfect layout, view was spectacular, water was clear to the point where you could tell the color of the rocks from the porch. Family loved it and my dog couldn’t get enough of the water. I could have lived on that porch reading my book forever. Thinking of vacationing here? You may find me still on the porch reading. I will just give a slight warning that they are not kidding about the driveway. We have a Ram2500 and you could not see the driveway over the hood while turning into it. Turning around in it was not pleasant, but doable. Best vacation we have had in years and I cannot wait to go again.

Thank you so much for this incredibly thoughtful review! It truly made our day. We're so happy you and your family had such a wonderful time, and it sounds like your pup enjoyed the lake just as much as everyone else! We love hearing that you were able to relax on the porch and take in the views, that's one of our favorite spots too. 😊 And thank you for mentioning the driveway. We always like to be upfront about it so guests know what to expect, and we appreciate you sharing your experience. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we'd absolutely love to welcome you back for another relaxing getaway. Hopefully next time you'll get to finish another good book on the porch!

Lake House in the Springtime

The house was perfect for our family vacation. The view of the lake from the deck was so nice to see every morning, afternoon, and evening. There were plenty of outdoor chairs for us and our family.
