Spectacular views to the west across Lake Champlain. the sunsets are amazing! Two bedrooms are upstairs with a connecting full bath between. One bedroom is downstairs with a connecting bathroom. Stairway leads down to dock and boat mooring. Swimming is excellent for children. There are bicycles, canoes and kayaks that come with this property. A boat mooring is available. The property is a short ride to the bike path that leads to Burlington or the Champlain Islands.

Our family loves coming back to Mallet's Bay year after year. The house is perfect for our needs as a multigenerational group and the view can't be beat. It was so nice this year to actually get to meet our hosts! Close to everything we need, but quiet for relaxation. Can't recommend more highly.

First off, the view is amazing. The deck faces west, which allows for absolutely beautiful sunsets.Inside, there are a few things that should be updated. There are small things that would make for a better experience. One would be to upgrade the TV. It's an old 17 inch TV. A small upgrade to a smart, slightly larger TV would be nice. There was supposed to be a "video library" - it was nowhere to be found. There were spider webs everywhere. The towels were ancient and threadbare. The upstairs bed were old. The most disturbing thing was there was obvious "biological growth: on the indoor mini-split. Nice to have A/C in the lower level (the upstairs was hot as hell), but it would be nice not to have to breathe in contaminated air.The listing states there are stairs leading down to the dock. There were no stairs and no dock.Overall, it was an OK place. Outdated. A little dirty. Worth the price? Not so much.

We so appreciated the off-the-beaten path location of this home. It is secluded, and has amazing views. We visited in mid-October, and the colors didn’t disappoint. The accommodations were perfect for my husband and I, as we traveled with my cousin and her husband. It was helpful to have separate bathrooms upstairs and downstairs, along with the bedrooms. The host was quick to respond to questions as well.

Truth in Advertising! The views from this house were truly amazing. Our whole stay was terrific. The house is comfortable and well appointed. We loved the views from the deck facing the lake. It was a nice plus to ride provided bikes to the Colchester Causeway, which is nearby. The location is quiet but close enough to downtown to explore downtown and other surrounding areas.
