We loved our stay at 64 Windy Lane.
We liked the living and dining rooms - comfortable for 5. It was awesome having numerous chairs for an old person to sit in and feel comfortable. Mattresses were in good shape; water pressure was fine; and the kitchen was equipped adequately.
A concern was the door to the bedroom with twins upstairs didn't close completely so it was noisy once in the room. Liked having the garage with extra pots etc. although we didn't use it for the car.
We would definitely return in the future!
We had a wonderful stay! The house was just delightful, very comfortable beds, and the view...Wow! Wow! Wow! Thank you for your hospitality and offering a truly remarkable place to visit.
Thank you and we hope we see you back soon !
Comfortable home in a great location
Well-appointed home right on the lake. The property is clean, comfortable and convenient to all you would need.
Our stay at 64 Windy Lane was just what we were looking for. The owners were very easy to get in touch with, along with their property manager, who was very thorough, accommodating and friendly. He brought us a new DVD player when we learned there wasn't one at the house, which we appreciated very much. The view is spectacular and given we were there in November, we made good use of the wood stove so it was very cozy. It is a 5 minute drive to the Causeway which is great for a walk or bike ride and the sunsets are beautiful. The mattresses were very comfortable and with 6 of us there, we did not run out of hot water for showers in the morning! I would say the only downfall is if you want to get to the water, there are quite a few steps that are steep, so that may not work for some but overall, a great place to get away.
Charming House with Great View
We, recently, stayed at this lovely home with a magnificent view while visiting UVM. The owner is very gracious and responsive and the house had every amenity. Our dog loved the yard and although it was November, the weather was very mild, so we were able to spend a bit of time outside. Colchester is an easy ride to Burlington and the house was close to a grocery store, restaurants, etc. We are looking forward to our next stay and hopefully, many more.
Porters point is an excellent choice for Mallets Bay
We had a fun week kayaking, biking and enjoying the spectacular sunsets and lake views from this clean, modern home. Lake water was crystal clear. Great community.
The house is on Porter's Point in Lake Champlain. This is a very quiet and private area. The house faces west across the lake so the sunsets are spectacular! Swimming from the dock is very safe, as the maximum depth at normal water levels is about 4 feet. There is a boat mooring available. The house is a very short ride to the bike trail that goes south to Burlington or north to the Champlain islands. There are kayaks and canoes with the house and several bicycles. The house is fully equipped...all linens and towels, etc. are provided. There is a barbeque grill on the deck. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary utensils. The house has two full baths and three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have queen size beds and one has twin beds. Cable TV, wifi internet and unlimited domestic long distance telephone are provided.
