Summer vacation destination! Escape the crowds of the city in a desert oasis. Hike our trails with your dog, BBQ in the evening, cozy up to the wood-stove, and enjoy the starry night skies. As part of Hidden Passage Guest Ranch you’ll experience wide-open spaces, abundant nature, fresh air, hiking, plenty of solitude.

No one under 18 allowed. Pets welcome!

Artemis is a large and spacious two bedroom/one bathroom cottage, with private patios in the front and back of the house offering expansive views. You'll find a large fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower/tub, queen beds with memory foam mattress, Smart TV, a selection of patio furniture and large BBQ, evaporative cooling, heating and a real wood-burning stove.

Enjoy spectacular star gazing, relaxing by the ranch's pool, leisurely walks and adventures in a pristine natural environment completely surrounded by protected Wilderness Area.

A mountain-water, infinity seasonal community pool (swimming season is usually April through September based on night temperatures) with spectacular 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains anchors the ranch. The pool is shared among 5 cottages and is always open to lounge in the sun when it is too cold to swim.

This cottage is perfect for couples as the bedrooms are on opposite sites of the house with adjoining private patios. The kitchen is large and equipped with a big country-style table, perfect for group cooking and dining. Each bedroom has a door leading to a patio. Out back is plenty of seating and a BBQ. Enjoy outdoor dining and amazing canyon views.

Hidden Passage is located in the center of the desert, with convenient access less then 30 minutes to Joshua Tree, Big Morongo Canyon Preserve, Palm Springs, and Pioneertown.

An amazing getaway!

We had such an amazing time at this property! It was clean, had great amenities m and maintained its rustic appeal. The pool was wonderful and the views were serene. You won’t see a night sky anywhere else like you do here. It was so unbelievably quiet and peaceful. We can’t wait to have another kid free period of time to visit again! Unfortunately, that likely won’t be until next year.

A desert paradise

This place is a true paradise in the desert! The house is tastefully done and very beautifully located amongst hills. Natural desert landscape with a great diversity of bird made it exceptionally enjoyable. Loved the morning bird song, starlit skies and mist importantly the silence all around. We will be back for sure!

Be warned: Two miles of difficult, treacherous, rocky dirt road required to arrive at the facility. Travelling after dark in nearly impossible due to lack of road signage and road conditions. A four wheel drive vehicle with a lot of ground clearance is strongly recommended

The Artemis is a beautiful, well appointed cottage, very comfortable bedrooms. When I reserved this cottage I didn’t realize it was next to the community building and sadly someone was doing laundry in the middle of the night and screaming at her dogs. The dogs roamed over to my place and set off my dog ... With that being said, we will go back but will stay away from the Artemis.

Stars and beautiful silence

This property exceeded my expectations. The house was beautifully decorated, allowing for airflow and a feeling of connectedness to nature. There is an incredible absence of light pollution and the stars are stunning. Just wait until you see the moon shadows on the surrounding hillside.
