Pool needs work, outside needs work. Inside very clean and everything you need. Great price

Mostly the outside when got there grass and bushes have not been maintained in a while. They did cut it the next day but looked rough. The pool (unheated) bottom drain did not work tried brushing. Hot tub again no bottom drain and no jets. But pool area worked for eating at. The price rates was good. If looking for a place just to sleep at would be fine.

Comfortable Accommodations

We stayed 3 weeks and would book it again. Better than motels and very affordable. Loved the full size refrigerator, the streaming TV options, hot water for showers, ceiling fan and the quiet neighborhood close to shopping.

Nice Property in pleasant neighborhood

Really enjoyed my stay. Just as described in listing. Nice, safe neighborhood. Easy drive to downtown Venice and the beaches. Great!

Basic Accommodations

Kitchen, bathroom, bed and TV were fine. The problem was with the air conditioner unit that made so much noise that it was hard to hear the TV or to sleep. The air conditioner unit also keep spitting out Black chunks of something. Finally, the smoke detector must have a low battery because there was a constant irritation beeping.

Nice Studio Apartment

This was ideal for my requirements as I was a single occupant. The location was ideal for me as it was a quiet location and was within easy reach of Highway 41 and Venice Old Town. Victoria (The Owner) was very efficient in communication which made the stay a breeze. Many thanks

The pool was not clean. It had bugs and dirt in it. The pool net had a big hole in it! We tried to clean it, but it was just impossable!

Decent neighborhood

Property was fine for the price, clean and furnished as advertised. Twin beds were comfortable. The TV reception was a streaming and worked poorly for the first 4 days of our stay. It was fine the last two days, but we had to use our own streaming subscriptions. No over the air antenna either.

It was ok, farther from the beach than expected. It was 2.8 miles but still takes 10 minutes.

The bathroom needs cleaned. Gross stuff around toilet. Beds and nightstand need moved out and swept behind. Dust accumulation from months! Yuk. We stayed 4 nights and began feeling comfortable after a couple nights. Would have preferred a more deeply cleaned place.

My inconvenience stay

Arrive late at night no light on the side of the building so we had trouble getting into the lock box. Next day was cold hot water tank had to be replaced so no shower. Pool was unusable. Third day was told plumber has to come because tenants on the other side had no hot water IE hot water tank was in my unit. So i e could not live comfortably in unit with people coming in and out. Last day town was outside at 7:30 in the morning installing water pipes. On cool night could not leave the window open because the screens had holes and rips in them. I feel bad with this review but hopefully they will correct the situation

Florida trip

We loved the quiet neighborhood, the apartment was clean and very nice, we don’t know what was up with the grill but other than that everything was great! I definitely would recommend and would stay here again 😊

Small problem with ants and didn't like the twin beds

Nice, but I never received a key code to the lock box and even called the owner with no reply, so I left the side door open. Pool area was poorly maintained, grown-up in the rear. For the money I would rate it a 3.8 to 4. It needs some TLF. I could not unstnd Anyone I tlaked too? Even the cleaning lady

Small but clean and convenient

This little place is great for a couple who need a clean place to sleep and shower. The kitchen is tiny and there are dishes if you need to cook. We mainly used toaster and coffee pot. A couple suggestions to change are 1. The coffee pot. It is small and you have to make multiple pots for coffee drinkers. 2. Spatulas or other cooking utensils. We didn't cook because there was hardly any cooking utensils like spatulas, even though there were decent pans. 3. The microwave. The inside of the door is rusting where enamel chipped off. Otherwise great little place. Attached to house. Not sure how often anyone is there as the lawn did not look like it had been mowed in awhile. We were mostly out discovering the area. Great deal for clean place.

Don’t stay here!

From the beginning, I had concerns as the owner, Victoria, was dismissive of my questions and very rude when we had difficulty getting into the property. The yard around the house looked as if it had not been mowed in months. Just below the side door entrance, there appeared to be rodent feces. Once inside, the wall AC unit was so loud we knew it would be difficult to sleep. It was a cool night so we turned it off. The ceiling fan could not be used as it was loose from the ceiling and made a loud clicking sound. When we settled to sleep, we heard some scurrying on the floor and a knocking and scratching sound. We listened for the better part of an hour and decided to pack up and leave about midnight-necessitating us to check into a hotel. We have requested a refund for 2 of the three nights we were to stay there as we did try to sleep in the beds. Regardless of price, the property does not meet the high standards we have been accustomed to in renting VRBO properties the past 7 years.

Neighborhood is very quiet and safe, yet a short distance to Hwy 41, downtown, and both beaches (20 and 25 minutes of biking at a leisurely pace). Property had all amenities that we needed. The host was very prompt to respond to any questions. The only suggestion that I'd make is to replace mattresses with firmer ones at some point.
