This spacious 1 bedroom/ 1 bath apartment located in Everglades City is clean, simple, and comfortable. It is perfectly located to explore Everglades National Park as well as other preserves and wildlife refuges in southwest Florida. Everglades City is a tiny little town at the end of the road on the West coast of Florida, approximately 45 minutes from Marco Island and Naples.

Details about the property:
Everglades City is your gateway to exploring the Everglades and surrounding natural areas. It is a small, quiet town with a very intriguing history! Kayak, airboat, and motorboat tours are within walking distance or just a short drive away, and the fishing in Everglades National Park and the 10,000 islands is world-renowned. Once you have booked your stay, your host will send you an insider's guide for things to do and see in the area.

You will be staying in a private 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment located on the 2nd floor of a multi-family house. There is a queen size bed in the separate bedroom and a spacious full bathroom with shower/ tub. All linens are provided.

The living / dining / kitchen area has high ceilings and big sliding glass doors that you can open to let in tropical breezes. Or just open the curtains to enjoy the Florida sunshine and amazing sunsets in air conditioned comfort. The kitchen is equipped with basic plates, pots/ pans and utensils so you can cook your own meals. Or you can walk to several local restaurants.

During your stay you will have access to wireless internet, and the TV is connected to Netflix, Amazon Prime Movies, and cable.

In addition to the apartment, guests also have access to the tropical back yard with patio, hammock, table and chairs.

Southwest Florida's beautiful swimming beaches are just 45 minutes away on Marco Island and in Naples.

Great home base for exploring the Everglades

First time visit to Everglades City and the space was just what we needed! Had all the little touches including some popcorn, a screened porch and easy enough to walk to several places for breakfast and drinks & dinner on the water.

Retreat to warm weather

We stayed at this house for a few days to get out of the New York winter. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed setting out in the screened in porch. That apartment is very good size for 2 people. It is also in a very quiet neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this location.

Lovely hostess who quickly fixed the front lock when it stuck. Large and beautifully equipped apartment with photos of local birds on the walls. Only a couple of blocks walk to the local restaurant, The Island Cafe, with good food and delicious Key Lime Pie. An excellent and central location for exploring the Everglades. We were sorry when our three days were up. Would happily stay at Rebecca’s again.

Great Location

This is my 2nd visit and will definitely come again. Rebecca is very helpful and easy to reach if you have a question or problem. The apartment is well stocked but a larger frying pan along with the smaller one that is there and a little more silverware would be helpful. L Mercer.

Great find in the Everglades City

We enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was well furnished and VERY clean! This apartment is located in a great area near alot of the everglade atraction. We will definitely be back. The hostess was very accommodating with check-in. I highly recommend you visit Shark Valley for the day and take the tram tour, take an airboat ride, and see the 10,000 islands.
