Perfect week away!

We had a great week at this beautiful property. Hannah and Mark were amazing hosts and were always available to answer any questions we had before and during our stay. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need to feel right at home. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Lots of space outside for games and nightly bonfire! Wifi was a little iffy at times but the hosts were very helpful when we called and found solutions for us right away. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful and peaceful getaway. Thanks Hannah and Mark!!

Very quiet and peaceful

This is a lovely cottage right on the Muskoka river. If you are looking for quiet, and calm, this is it. We barely heard the neighbours all week. The property itself doesn't have a lot of space for outdoor games, but there is a lovely firepit as well as small dock and kayaks are provided. There's a nice little waterfall a short paddle upstream. For nice hikes, Bracebridge is a short 20 minute drive away.

Everything we could have hoped for!

The property is immaculate, very well maintained, with everything we wanted: waterfront, wifi, air conditioning, secluded, close to town and attractions, and our hosts were extremely responsive whenever we contacted them. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway from the city, yet with all the conveniences and creature comforts you'd want.

Great place, great host!

Great place to relax with the family. Home was very clean and exactly as depicted in the ad. Hannah was very easy to work with, more than accommodating and made sure our stay was great. This was our second time renting this home and we will be sure to do it again.

Perfect retreat!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this cottage, it was very clean and well appointed with everything one would need. A home away from home! The property owner (Hannah) was excellent and very responsive to any/all questions we had. If you are looking for a tranquil get-away to spend time with family and friends this is the place to be. Excellent stay at the Riverside Log Home

We had an amazing week in June 2021 at Hannah and Mark’s Riverside Log Home. The house is in pristine condition and very comfortable and new. There were 4 of us (adults) and 1 medium sized dog. There was plenty of room and could have easily fit more adults or children. The location is amazing right off highway 11 on a huge well maintained lot. Beautiful deck overlooking a fire pit and the river. Great sun exposure all day. Nice easy kayaking down the river and a beachy area not too far. The house is great for entertaining with an open concept. High end kitchen appliances and a great propane gas bbq made cooking and prepping meals enjoyable. Amazing 2.5 bathrooms (rare in some of the cottages we came across) and spacious bedrooms. Hannah was a pleasure to deal with and very timely in responding to my messages. I can’t say enough good things and looking forward to staying here again in the future.
