This property was absolutely beautiful!
It was clean and all amenities were lovely. We left a message for Mr. Barth with a question and he contacted us back within minutes. He is extremely nice and accommodating. We arrived at the property early and he let us check in.
The furniture and beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The grandchildren loved playing the games from the game room and enjoyed playing outside in the big yard! They took over the upstairs bonus room and called it their apartment!
The location of this place is very convenient and extremely well located between Enumclaw, where we went to the Scottish Highland Games, and Mt. Rainer and Crystal Mountain where we went to the Summit House. Staying here for two days with our family was quite memorable and very enjoyable! We were very blessed to have been able to stay here.
Some Suggestions:
Many of the stock items in the kitchen, such as spices etc. have expired, so it might be time to go through them and throw them out.
None of my family was sure how to operate the shower in the bathroom as there was no visible faucet to turn it on. However, Mr. Barth returned our message within minutes to explain it to us. Thank you.
In the master bath, I was looking forward to a long bath, but the pre-set timer turned the jets off after about 3 minutes. I was not able to turn the timer back on. Then, when my husband tried to take a bath, he couldn't get the timer to turn the jets on either. Obviously, we were unaware how to set it. So he drained the water and then, after about a half hour, the jets came back on making a loud noise! I'm sure it's an easy, simple timer, and my husband did try to figure it out, but consequently without instructions, he was unfamiliar how to use it. Also, we are old, and the numbers were a bit hard to read. It was our fault, but because of our ignorance, the tub turned out to be disappointing. This was late at night and didn't want to disturb Mr. Barth with an operating question. So, it would have been nice to have a page in the book explaining how to operate these things in the bathrooms. Thank you!
