Well stocked clean cabin awaits your adventure time in the mountains!
I ran a retreat for at-risk Native youth and used the cabin as our retreat center. It was perfect. The kids loved the hot tub and declared it to be their dream home.
Everything as described. We were greeted daily by herds of elk walking past. The location was perfect for our Crystal Mountain and Mt. Rainier adventures!
Great location to explore Sunrise Center and all the amenities
We had a very nice family trip to this beautiful tucked away cabin. The location was great for us to explore the Sunrise Visitor Center of Mt Rainier NP. The cabin is well maintained and cozily decorated. It has all the amenities you could ever ask for. Such gracious hosts. Would highly recommend but book fast because this area gets reserved quite quickly!
Gorgeous mountain retreat!
Clean, spacious mountain cabin, close to everything Mt Rainier has to offer. Decorated beautifully (Christmas tree in living room was a happy surprise :) , all amenities you need, comfortable (and lots of) beds. Elk on our front lawn!
Great place!!! 5++ stars.
Nice Place To Stay - Would Go Again
Overall, we had a great stay there. The pictures and description of the house are a little misleading. This is a 2 bedroom and a loft, not a 3 bedroom. It does sleep the amount of people advertised and there was WiFi. The property could of used some trimming. There will be food left over from past guests, but check the dates before you use. There was plenty of sheets, towels, and blankets to use. There is a community center across the street which came in handy for a BBQ as we had for several guests that visited and kids were able to play there as well. Supermarket is about 30 minutes away and some small stores about 10 minutes away. The Christmas Tree in the living area and Christmas lights on the property should probably be put away until needed for the 6 weeks a year. My damage deposit was returned timely and the owner responded to text messages within minutes.
Thank you so much for your review and feedback! So glad to hear you had a good stay. I agree with you on the Christmas Tree haha my husband however wanted it to be Christmas at the cabin all year round this year and this feedback will help my case :) Have a wonderful rest of your summer and we hope to have you again.
Welcoming & Comfortable Cabin
Well equipped house: plenty of towels, spices & oil in the kitchen, games... Similar to other houses in the area but a bit more welcoming (nicer decorated & isolated corridor with hooks where ski clothes can dry at night). Plenty of room for two families and would be alright for three if willing to use the open mezzanine with futon as a third bedroom. Owners very responsive. Will rent again.
Getaway with Family
We came up here after New Year's Eve with my husband and I, sister, brother in law and 2 teenage boys. We loved the place. It was cozy, and the kitchen was well stocked along with items that were kept there from previous people. It was nice to have something when you had forgotten some things. There was no grocery or restaurant closeby so we cooked almost always and had to drive an hour for pizza. But for do it your selfers, we had a lovely visit. The elk in the neighborhood were an added bonus and for us non-skiiers we walked around the quiet neighborhood every morning!
