I'm a busy dad with a beautiful wife and three amazing daughters, and an awesome boxer dog named Zeke. My favorite thing to do is travel...I try to pack the suitcase and ditch town whenever I can. I especially enjoy traveling with my wife and daughters join and we go explore new places and culture. I can hardly wait for the next family travel adventure!
Shane purchased this Cabin in 2014
Why Shane chose Enumclaw
We enjoy hosting friends and family for ski trips to Crystal Mountain in the Winter and hikes around Mount Rainier in the Summer. Our cabin is a dream-come-true getaway for long holiday weekends and outdoor adventures together as a family. When we can't use it, our loss is your gain - we like to share with guests from the wonderful VRBO community!
What makes this Cabin unique
Crystal River Ranch is a wonderful community with lots of great amenities, wildlife and proximity to Crystal Mountain and Mount Rainier resorts (approx 10 miles drive). The "downtown" Greenwater area is quaint yet cool. I recommend hanging out at Naches Tavern bar and grill in the evening and Wapiti Woolies coffee and retail shop during the day. Also, there is a local ski and snowboard shop, little general store and a couple other small retail stores. Between the Ranch, Crystal and Rainier Mountains and Greenwater downtown, you can find yourself a sweet "get away from it all" vacation adventure.

Beautiful setting for this lovely cabin
Greenwater Washington is a quiet and beautiful setting for a vacation stay in the Miller Cabin. From the nearby river, walking trails throughout the friendly community, to the daily visits from the Elk, we loved our 2 week stay. The cabin is roomy and had a great kitchen and outdoor gas BBQ to prepare meals. The internet was spotty and the satellite TV a bit too complicated to figure out, and we didn't really miss it as the forest and clubhouse had plenty to keep us busy. There are many nice places to visit an hour or so away and overall I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to "get away from it all"!
We absolutely loved this house!
We live in the Midwest and wanted to stay somewhere near the mountains and be close enough to Tacoma to visit family. With very little research I picked this home. Later my family had me look up Enumclaw and I was disappointed. To say this home is in Enumclaw is a disservice. Greenwater is a little collection of buildings 20 minutes from Enumclaw - including a tavern, a store with coffee shop and food, a gas station, and a minimart. This home is in a community two miles from Greenwater - and it must technically be in the Enumclaw postal code. The community has a rec center good for our child and common areas along the glacial river running off Mount Rainier. Every day started and ended by throwing rocks in the river with our son. It is also a very short scenic drive to the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park and the ski area. The house itself was perfect. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a loft with a bed. It had everything you need. I will stay here every opportunity I have when I visit family in Tacoma.
Great cabin !
Property was cute, clean and well maintained.
Owner very responsive with a few questions I had prior to arrival. Also had good beds which is not always the case with rentals.
Beautiful home, ideal location for skiing Crystal! Clean, cozy and very comfortable!
Beautiful! Our family had a wonderful vacation in this well located home. Thank you!
The outside is super cute. The inside was spacious & great too.Fun place for holiday weekend getaway
Overall, our experience was good, but I do need to point out that there were a few hiccups—
First, when booking we decided to extend a day and therefore were told to cancel and rebook. Our money was not refunded right away so that was a bit frustrating. Second, check in time was unclear. We were told 3, but upon arrival, the house was not ready: the vacuum was left out, the laundry was not done, and there was no laundry detergent. The cleaners had left before completing their job. Third, the curb trash bins were full and when we were ready to check out there was no place for us to put our bags of trash. While our stay there was nice, there were a few things that could be improved upon. If these few things were fixed, this cabin experience could be perfect!
The cabin is beautifully nestled in to the forest of the Ranch in Greenwater. It is quite large and very clean and has everything you need for a winter getaway. We had a wonderful Christmas and hope to come back again!
