Esta casa de campo de 4 dormitorios y tres pisos, bellamente decorada, se encuentra en la comunidad residencial de Seacrest Beach. Tiene vistas panorámicas del Golfo de México desde el segundo y tercer piso y es perfecto para unas vacaciones familiares o un grupo de amigos que se reúnen.

Con dos master suites, cada una con un porche privado y bañera de hidromasaje, es una gran casa para compartir. La gran sala grande, el comedor, el porche y el área de la cocina, así como un dormitorio queen se encuentran en el segundo piso.

Relájese junto a la piscina comunitaria al aire libre o dé un corto paseo a la playa a través del acceso privado. ¡Haga de Float Away su próximo destino de vacaciones!

Spring break

Great location with easy access to beach. While a little dated, it had all the amenities and some we didn’t know we would need! Perfect for big groups and teens to have their own space.

It is a one minute walk from the beach! Me and my family enjoyed very much the stay, the building is in great condition! Everything works! It was nice!

Spring Break

Great stay. Lots of room with 4BR /4 BA to give everyone a comfortable place to sleep and get ready. Short walk to beach, and nice 15 min bike ride to Rosemary beach to look at all the activities and stores. Great decks on each level. Very happy with this house and would stay again!

Great location

The house was in a perfect location, right across from public beach access and within a few minutes of shops and restaurants. The only thing we were disappointed in was the cleanliness of the floors and furniture. It could use a really good deep cleaning of the first and second floors.

Much needed getaway

We did have an issue with the credit ($140) we had recieved from rent gear here (now Vacayzen) in that they had no record of our reservation when I called inititally to reserve items and then when I called back they ahd not one thing available so the credit could not be used:(

Seacrest Stay

Overall we had a great visit. The house is really big and close to walk to the beach. The pool was smaller than expected but there was never anyone in it so we had no problems. The house is outdated to the point the carpet is pretty stained so it’s not extremely appealing but if you look past that you’ll be okay. Also, there are only 2 parking spots assigned to the house so parking is limited, especially if someone parks in your assigned spot. The beach was absolutely beautiful but there are LOTS of stairs down to the beach so don’t pack a wagon or if you or a family member have a hard time with stairs it would be a challenge.

Great location but...

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this property for a girls getaway trip. The location is perfect - views of the gulf with beach access directly across the street. The bedrooms are big and there was plenty of space for us all. However, the cleanliness of the place left something to be desired. On our second day, we found mouse droppings on top of the refrigerator. There was so much of it, it fell inside of the freezer and we spent some of our vacation cleaning that up and disinfecting so we could safely store our food. The ice maker had mold growing in it and there is a musty odor throughout the house. We won’t be renting this property again and wouldn’t recommend it to others.

Good equipment in the kitchen and nice to have 4 baths/bedrooms with comfortable beds. There were several beach chairs available for use. Property was nice but not high-end as many places in 30a are.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this rental and the spaciousness was perfect. We unfortunately had several maintenance issues immediately. They were responsive and came out quickly, but not all issues were resolved unfortunately. The most challenging part was how dirty the carpeting and flooring was. Our feet would be soiled just minutes after a shower. It was gross. The unit needs serious updating and refurbishing. Furniture is worn and stained. Cabinets, light fixtures, and ceilings all had lots of damage and showed signs of neglect. The general feel was of a 1990s beach house that needs some serious attention. I would not rent this unit again.

Float Away - I would return!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Float Away was a good spot that met our needs! First off location. I was worried about being on the other side of 30A, but that was not an issue. The walk to the beach was short and simple - literally cross 30A and the walkover to the beach is right there (51 stair steps down to the sand). We have had a longer walk to the beach at past homes on the beach side of 30A, so proximity to the beach is good - and the beach was not too packed with people. Also, I like the location as it was close to The Hub, Alys & Rosemary, but not not as crowded as being in one of those higher density communities. Now, the house itself. First the beds were great. I appreciate a comfortable mattress in a rental and these beds were comfortable. The lower two floors were great, but you do have to know that the AC on the top floor is not ideal. In the summer, it simply was always 5-7 degrees warmer on the third floor. There were fans in the third floor room (as if it was a known issue) and the fans did help. The bathrooms were sufficient and just as they appear in the pics but not high-end or luxury. The kitchen was good and workable, but again it was not a high end kitchen. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans and utensils, but would benefit from a refresh of pots and non-stick skillets. The kitchen's hidden gem was a very large pantry. I wish they would add a second refrigerator. A 4 bed house sleeping 8-10 people could really use another refrigerator. The house was very clean and in good repair. We did not have any issues. The pool was shared, and was a bit small. It was nice for a quick dip after the beach but not a place to spend lots of time. Not a show stopper, but worth mentioning if a pool is important. We had limited interaction with Benchmark, but they were helpful with the basics and it was nice to have a code for the door and to do a remote check in without keys. Overall I would return as we enjoyed Float Away.

Too many Maintenence issues to relax on vaca

Reviewer Comments: Things happen and we understand that, but Benchmark/ the owners don’t know how to resolve them with GOOD customer service. We booked Float away for spring break with 2 families of five. It’s just the right size for us and had the perfect location. We did enjoy our stay. The first floor front bedroom does have a trundle bed but you have to move furniture in order to pull it out. It’s a tight fit with limited closet access with a dresser blocking one of them. The twin bed will be fine as long as the person sleeping on it doesn’t move, it’s quite loud. The first day we arrived right at check in around 3:15 and we were excited to begin our vacation. That ended quickly as the first evening of showers with kids became a hot mess with the bathrooms. The first floor front bathroom had water raining down it from the vent and the shower curtain rod fell down in the middle of the shower (it was broken). The water feature is from the bathroom on the second floor that flooded in the wall down below to the first floor bathroom. This lead to an unusable second floor shower and and first floor shower until maintenance could arrive the next day. It also created lots of laundry from cleaning up the flood in the basement. The second day was no better as we ran the dishwasher for the first time and it flooded the kitchen. This also then created a rain feature to the bathroom directly below. We used up most of the towels provided in order to clean up the floods created from the showers and the dishwasher. There is no laundry soap available so bring your own in order to wash the towels.

The beach was directly across the street - very convenient. I appreciated the fact that our beach, while busy, did not have the crowds of other beaches in the area, especially in these times. I would 100% stay here again.
