We’ve stayed at this home several times now, and it’s become one of our favorite family traditions. It’s the perfect getaway — ideal for families or a small group of friends. The location couldn’t be better: walking distance to everything in town and just a short drive to Petoskey, the Tunnel of the Trees, and so many great spots nearby.Each visit has been a wonderful mix of comfort, convenience, and connection. We had an incredible time in Charlevoix in the Palmer House. The house was relaxing, cozy and just what our family needed. The beds were very comfortable, including the pillows, the baths/showers were great and the kitchen was awesome. The beach chairs and towels made our treks to the beach convenient and relaxing. Mornings and evenings on the front porch rocking chairs helped start and close our days.

Super comfortable house perfectly situated a short walk to downtown Charlevoix. House was clean (we enjoyed watching the roomba). Kitchen seemed well stocked although too many good restaurants in Charlevoix so we didn’t cook much. Will definitely book here again next time we come to northern Michigan.

You will not find a house in Charlevoix with better views of Lake Michigan, access to the Lake Michigan Beach, and the ability to walk to and from town (about 1/3 mile) along the channel which is not only convenient, but well lit all night long.

You can literally park your car upon arrival, and not start it again until it's time to head back home.
