Modern and spacious villa, on a plot of 400 m2, totally independent, located in a very quiet residential area in Maspalomas, consisting of 2 bedrooms for 4 people with magnificent views towards the summit of Gran Canaria.
The vicinity of the beach and the golf course, just a few minutes walk away, as well as sports activities, places of interest and culture make this vacation home a suitable accommodation to spend your vacations with family or friends.
The accommodation offers a lot of privacy, with landscaped areas with lawns, trees and a private saline-treated swimming pool.

Clean, private and quiet.

Good communication before stay. Quiet area, good pool and very good privacy in fenced garden. Can find sun or shade around the property from when it comes up until it goes down. Would be very happy to stay here again.

very helpful host, great communication. really went the extra mile for us! worth getting warm pool in winter. clean, decent kitchen, good showers. 5 mins walk from small corner shop, hyper dino at faro2. 1 min walk from canal which took you all the way to the beach by foot without traffic (25 mins with small kids)

Recent stay

Charming old fashioned villa in quiet location. Not easy to find and kitchen in particular needs an upgrade. Pleasant garden with good pool which we opted to heat at 30euros a day, so not cheap. Also rented the bbq for 40 euros which was a bit of a nerve especially as original one was useless. They did bring a new one around. No communication on the last day so we sent a photo of where we left the keys. Overall stay though was enjoyable.

A Great Stay at West One

A beautiful holiday home in quiet and private surroundings. Clean and well maintained it provides all the household items (hair dryer, cooking utensils etc) that you will need to enjoy your stay, there is even a welcome pack with some essentials to get you started. Staff are very friendly, non intrusive and extremely quick to help if there are any issues (for example when we locked ourselves out of the safe!! :-)) The swimming pool catches the sun most of the day, is clean, private and great for relaxing, so much so we would rather stay there than go the beach. It is ideally located such that travel to either Meloneras, Maspalomas Beach or Playa Del Ingles is a short taxi ride away. A taxi rank is located approximately 5 mins away, if one doesn't pass you first as you walk along. We would highly recommend West One and this property is especially suited to couples or small families. All in all, this is our favourite holiday destination and can't wait for our next visit. Thank-you to all of the team who made our stay so enjoyable, see you soon! :-)

Beautiful Property in Tranquil Location

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at Villa West. We were met on arrival by the hosts, who actually had to chase us down the street to point out where to park, they were extremely friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. There was a welcome pack of essentials (including a bottle of wine) and the hosts explained about the villa and how to operate various items of equipment. Apart from a periodic visit from the pool/garden maintenance man and one visit from the cleaner (these always knocked before coming in) we were very much left to ourselves, which is exactly what we wanted. The property is very well maintained and ideally proportioned for four people. Lets face it you don't really want to be spending too much time inside, and the garden is a very comfortable and relaxing space to spend time. So much so we only went to the beach once during our stay rather than every day which we do usually. The garden "can" be overlooked in part by a couple of neighbouring villa's roof terraces but we saw virtually nobody on them during our stay. The bedrooms are perfectly comfortable with tonnes of storage and the bathrooms are clean and spacious. The kitchen has all of the usual facilities (inc an oven!) although there was no kettle (there is a coffee maker instead) or anything I would recognise as a can opener (which caused a bit of amusement getting into a can of beans). The pool is big enough to float around in and certainly didn't need heating but then it was Aug/Sept, there is a heater for the colder months. It was well looked after and always clean despite it being pretty windy on some days. There is a function to turn the flow up in the pool (into an "endless" pool) if more energetic than us. Location wise it is ideally suited away from the thumping music of Playa del Ingles, but close enough if you want to taxi (3-4 Euro), and close enough to the beach (approx 20 - 30 min walk). Faro2 shopping centre is close by, but its only redeeming feature is a Hiperdino, but that is good for picking up essentials. This place is obviously almost derelict and be warned you may well have to dodge a zombie or 2 on the way through! The only sound was from a nearby hotel who had a bad Elvis impersonator, but luckily he went to bed at 9pm. Overall we loved our stay here, and were loath to put this review on until we had booked our next stay. Thank-you to team who looked after us and we look forward very much to visiting Villa West again.

Nous avons rencontré plusieurs problèmes au cours de notre séjour.Il y avait des fourmis dans la maison, une odeur désagréable dans les salles de bain et les canalisations étaient bouchées. La piscine n’a été nettoyée qu’une seule fois en trois semaines et n’était donc pas dans un état impeccable. Le jardinier est venu sans avoir été annoncé, tout comme les propriétaires, qui se sont présentés simplement pour cueillir des mangues. Le coffre-fort n’a pas été disponible pendant deux semaines. De plus, le drap de lit fourni n’était en réalité qu’une alèse.Nous avons également constaté un manque de matériel : aucun ustensile ni produit de nettoyage pour le barbecue, très peu de grandes assiettes et de couverts, pas de verres assortis. Les ventilateurs étaient très vieux et bruyants. Enfin, l’éclairage extérieur était insuffisant.Pour conclure, au regard du prix payé, la maison aurait besoin d’un bon rafraîchissement à plusieurs niveaux.

Très bon séjour

La villa est fort agréable , très bien agencée pour deux couples d'ami, très bien située et au calme.La piscine a été très bien chauffée ( nonobstant un supplément de 30 Eur/jour contractuel mais excessif)Le service ménage/nettoyage parfait .La procédure d'arrivée n'a pas été facile, due à quelques problèmes techniques et surtout au fait que l'hôte ne parlait que l'espagnol ( contrairement aux 3 autres langues annoncées ) L'hôte a compensé cette difficulté en solutionnant tous les problèmes et en nous offrant des fleurs et une bouteille de vin.En cuisine, la vaisselle est très limitée(avons fait des propositions à l'hôte)Le parking est à 30 m de la villa sur une place publique .En conclusion : Excellent séjour et nous pouvons recommander cette villa.Merci à l'hôteMichel

De man die ons verwelkomde kon geen andere taal als spaans. Hij heeft ons ook gezegd dat wij de temperatuur van het zwembad s nachts moesten uit zetten...daardoor hebben we naar hetburo gemaild waar men ons zei dat het zoniet warm werd. Zo hadden we de laatste drie dagen wat warmer zwembadwater waarvoor we 210 extra betaald hebben...Voor de rest was het een heel leuk huisje

Schöne uneinsehbare Villa

Schöne Villa in einem ruhigen Eck, der Check in war sehr angenehm und es ist alles da was man braucht. Einrichtung ist gut und absolut ausreichend. Schön wäre es wenn der Zugang auch über das große Tor möglich wäre

Aangenaam huisje heel blij dat we de zwembad verwarming erbij genomen hebben alleen jammer dat de zwembad jet stream niet werkte Jammer dat de tuinman de dag van vertrek al om 07:30 daar was en blijf tot dat wij ‘s middags vertrokken hadden nog graag wat privacy gehad in onze laatste uurtjes

Da meine Frau schon nach 2 Tagen krank wurde und wir daher vorzeitig abreisten, konnten wir das eigentlich sehr empfehlenswerte Haus nicht genießen und bewerten.

Ruhige Lage, Sauberkeit: Bad in die Jahre gekommen, Dusche schimmelig und defekte Fließen. Küche: Bodenfliesen hübsch aber mit vielen Schäden. Geschirr war wenig und verschlissen und nicht sauber übergeben. Backofen verrostet. Warmwasserversorgung schlecht,da durch Sparmaßnahmen nur geringer Druck. Sonnenstunden am Pool max 3 Stunden möglich, danach lag der Rasen und Pool im Schatten. Poolheizung war sehr teuer aber trotzdem sehr angenehm.

Wunderschönes Haus mit tollem Pool

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem Haus. Es war alles vorhanden und auch an die Kleinigkeiten (Geschirrspulmittel, Geschirrtücher) war gedacht. Wir kommen wieder!

Villa West / traumhafte Anlage

Die Lage ist perfekt in der Nähe von 3 Stränden. Das Haus ist ideal für 4 Personen, der Swimmingpool ist super und die Terrasse eignet sich hervorragend zum Abendessen im freien. Der Grill ist zwar extra zu bezahlen, es zahlt sich aber aus;-). Die Kochplatte überhitzt leicht, daher etwas schwierig zum Kochen. Uns hat dies aber nicht gestört. Grundsätzlich hat das Haus alle unsere Ansprüche erfüllt und wir waren rundum zufrieden. lg Ch M

Gutes Haus -geeignet für Paare

Objekt liegt ca. 30 Minuten v. Strand entfernt, wir fanden den Weg am Kanal entlang ok. Eine kleine Kaffeemaschine haben wir selbst gekauft und da gelassen, da die Pad-Maschine zu wenig Kaffee auf ein Mal machte. Einrichtung ist völlig in Ordnung, aber die Stühle am Frühstückstresen entsprechen nicht mehr denen auf den Fotos, schade, die waren besser. Insgesamt ist das Haus gut für ein Päärchen geeignet, bei vier Leuten wirds mit dem Duschen trotz zwei Badezimmern schwierig, da das warme Wasser dann aufgeteilt wird,, d.h. keiner hat welches. Der Preis v. EUR 40,-- für den Grill nebst einer kleinen Ladung Grillkohle und einer viertel Packung Anzünder war sehr unangemessen (da sind wir leider drauf reingefallen), dafür war alles andere prima, gut auch die Stereoanlage und die Matratzenqualität. Die Aufwärmung des Pools haben wir nicht genommen, 30,-- EUR /Tag erscheint recht teuer und wer nicht ganz emfindkich ist, wird auch so reingehen können, ist halt bisschen frisch. Insgesamt ein sehr lobenswertes Haus.

Nice villa

The area is a mix of hotels and villas. There are only a few restaurants within a 10 minute walk. We got a taxi (less than €5) down to the lighthouse area in Meloneras most evenings. The villa is the same as it looks in the pictures. The living area and kitchen are in the centre and then there is a bedroom and shower room/toilet in either end of the house (gives better privacy if it is two couples, but might not be suitable with very small children). The beds are comfortable. Plenty of storage space. Could do with a few more plug sockets. Plenty of channels on tv, in various languages. Kitchen very well stocked with utensils. Has tea towels, sanitizer, plenty of toilet rolls, some little bottles of shampoo etc. Need to bring your own clothes liquid. Has bathrobes. Towels. WiFi worked quite well, but not in the main bedroom. Only two mobile fans - really missed air conditioning on the hot nights. Security cameras inside and out. Outside has seating on either side, so you can catch the sun most of the day. It was over 27.C every day, so we didn’t need the pool heated. It is a nice size. It goes from 1.25m to 2m. You can climb outside steps to get on to the roof. Some evenings you could hear music from one of the hotels, but never too late.
