Beautiful secluded cabin. G628321
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The views were very pretty. We hiked at the World's End state park and had a good time.
Great week at this cabin!
Had a great week, property was clean and well stocked, supplies were there as well. Only downside is spotty wifi, and with no cell service it makes calling home hard. Water pressure was also low but did not cause a problem.
One word.... awesome!!
Loved the cabin and the area was great. Grocery store had everything we needed and some nice places to eat down town. Rickets Glen always a favorite stop!
Very comfortable place to stay
A great place to go to get away from it all while still having internet access and power.
Amazing Stay with One Caveat
This would have been a 5 star review, just based on the location, scenery, and comfort of our stay, but we were slightly disappointed at lack of easy-to-locate amenities such as bedsheets and pillowcases for any of the beds, or towels and hand towels for the bathrooms. Had to dig around in a box in the crawlspace to find anything. Would definitely come again and again if the place was properly prepared beforehand!
Matthew, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I do want to let you know that in the listing it states that guests are to provide their own sheets and towels. I have not had too much of an issue with it in the past, but I will consider providing these items if it consistently comes up as an issue with guests.
The house is beautiful
We stayed for a weekend and it was a great getaway. All the nature around us really gave it an away from society feel. We didnt find sheets for the bed until the second night and the wifi kept giving out while we watched Netflix. But resetting it did the trick. The lake was beautiful day and night. There are a lot of steps to get up to the house so prepare for that. And it took a while for the whole house to heat up but once it did it was definitely hot enough. Overall we had a AMAZING TIME.
Located near two state parks that have extensive hiking trails, concessions, swimming area and kayaking. Rickett's Glen and World's End State Parks.
