BEST location

The most best place/closest to the beach and bayside.. Will come back again if the place is deeper cleaned ,need updated and extra kitchen things, and especially need a better dishwasher. The refrigerator was leaking so it might needs replacing..

The house needs to be updated, recliner is uncomfortable, the fold out couch is terrible, only one TV with wifi, the wax ring on the toilet is leaking, the breaker box doesn't have a cover on it so electric wires are exposed which is very dangerous, AC couldn't keep up with the heat outside

Gulf Shores

Was overall ok. Not great, not bad. Washer and dryer was outside which is not mentioned in description. No outside water hose to rinse yourself off after getting off the beach. Good beach access, and the lagoon is right behind the house which is nice.

Nice Place-Needs some improvements

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over all, the location is nice. Unfortunately it needs some work and renovation. When we pulled up the first thing that stood out was piles of scrap lumber leaned over the picnic table underneath the house, one was spray painted with orange paint. Just didn’t look inviting. The grill was knocked over and soffit was hanging from the eves. On entering the house, first impression was good, but noticed the couch and chairs were stained pretty badly. Just could use a little freshening up! Over all though we did have a great stay.

Roaches,no wifi, shower leaks allover floor, soft spots in flooring, open sewage drain in laundry room, very few dishes an very few things to cook with , says priced lower to accommodate construction but you won't see anything being done finished or even started. The door doesn't shut properly sometimes making it hard to lock. Stairs in need of repair.

The house here was not what we seen when we arrived.

We did not stay at this property because it wasn't fit to stay in. However the group that owns this property made it right. They put us in a much much nicer place. So after that it was a great trip.

Spring Break

I came on a spring break getaway with my granddaughter and her other grandma. The location was wonderful. We went to the beach, shopped, and ate out in several places. Overall, we had a great time. The house itself was not a real positive. There was a large gap under the door that could let in lots of undesirables. There were mouse droppings in the cabinets and bugs in the kitchen. The toaster was rusty, and we didn't feel safe using it. Needless to say, we bought plastic and paper or ate our meals out. I hope to come back to Gulf Shores, but wouldn't stay in the same place.

Lovely single family dwelling

The ac was extremely cold, much to my liking. The oven, stove, fridge, and plumbing all worked well. The washer, dryer, bbq pit, oak trees, and shaded area under the house were all bonuses. Plenty off street parking and we weren’t close to other houses, and we were a five minute walk from the beach. The downstairs outside shower was a huge convenience. It is on the small side but it worked well for my parents, my wife and I and our 17 and 9 year old daughters.

House is comfortable and air conditioning works great; since we were there in July this was important. House is very sparsely provisioned though. No place to hang up wet bathing suits/towels. No shower head on outdoor shower. Only one lamp in living room. Water very rough on Gulf side/NOT good for small children/seniors. But lagoon side very calm with sandy bottom and little quiet beach.

Homey, clean and comfortable with a short walk to the beach

The house isn't fancy but clean and comfortable beds and nice shower. It has a feeling of home. We appreciated the tips in what to take to make the stay an enjoyable one. There was a problem with having to reset a breaker for the a/c but we would consider staying again sometime.

Beach vacation

This property was located in very quiet neighborhood and not far at all from the beach access, easy walking distance and not too busy roads to cross. It was good size for family of four. Easy check in and check out process.

someone screwed up

we moved into a mold infested place the property management company missed the fact that the ac ducts below the house we saturated and created a mold infested environment. our 1st 2 employees moved out after 2 days, sick as dogs, coughing. we got a hold of the owner. he hired us to fix everything. we did. cleaned up the yard and completed many repairs. location is awesome. its an old school house but much better now! we are back for another month for finalize it all for the next renters. property managers should do better.
