Escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy the year-round beauty of northern Minnesota at this Lake Vermilion home.

This home is conveniently located on the South-central side of Lake Vermilion on coveted Birch Point overlooking Big Bay.

With 120 feet of lakeshore and 3,256 finished square feet and recently UPDATED WITH CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING, this property will suit any renter from the avid fisherman to the snowmobiler to the family looking for a get-away. This three bedroom property has plenty of room for adults and kids alike!

The main floor master bedroom is complete with a king size bed and a beautiful view of Lake Vermilion. The main floor second bedroom has a queen size bed and is adjacent to the main floor bathroom with a walk-in shower. A family bonus suite above the rec room boasts sleeping for six and an ensuite private bathroom with a walk in shower. This home also has a sofa sleeper in the rec room that sleeps two.

The fully enclosed sun porch on the lake side of the property overlooks the fire pit and offers beautiful views of Big Bay.

Our fishing group (5 men) had a wonderful time at the cabin. Everything was as described in the listing, we enjoyed several meals in the cabin and there were several restaurants nearby. We really liked the cabin location on the lake, we rented a couple fishing boats for the week from the marina down the road and the fishing on the lake was good considering it was August. Communication with Becky was timely and thorough.

Great Family Vacation

Great property inside and out. The cabin is set up well to be able to have quiet time or get together indoors in the rec room if weather doesn’t cooperate. Outdoors is private with beautiful views and good fishing right from the dock. Would definitely book this property again

Great Getaway

We had a wonderful time. The house was amazing. It was very spacious, and well equipped. We loved the fact there was a boat slip/ dock to bring our boat for fishing. The golf courses nearby were amazing as well. The communication with the owners was great. We will definitely be staying there again in the future.

We had a wonderful week at the lake. The summer home had fabulous accommodations. Everything was clean and well kept. The boat lift was a plus, not having to worry about waves or storms at night. The frontage road was a great place for morning walks. We all agree that we would stay again.

Boy's Annual Fishing Getaway

This is the second year in a row that we've stayed MA's Shed! Like our last stay, we had a wonderful time. The kids love the rec room, playing outside and jumping in the lake. They enjoy fishing off the pier too. We had perfect weather and the fishing was outstanding! We enjoyed smoking a cigar by the fire pit while taking in the afternoon lake views. Grilling on the patio is so convenient when everyone wants to be outside! We look forward to booking our next stay for 2024!

Perfect family vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay right on Lake Vermilion. The house was spacious, clean, and had a very well stocked kitchen. Bedrooms upstairs were a little warm (we stayed late July). So my only advice would be to bring a fan. We were able to purchase one in Tower and it really helped. We spent most of our time on the water, fishing and tubing with the kids. The lake is beautiful! The owner was very easy to contact and responded immediately to our questions.

NO AC - Too many. Place is covered in spider webs. Dangerous path to the lake. Broken boat lift.

Very warm during our stay. No AC which made it tough on the kids. One of fans did not work either. Boat lift broke the first day, took 2 days to get fixed - now my boat is all scratched from being tied to the dock. Broken main patio large outer window - shape glass pieces not even covered over. Owner knew it was broken and NEVER informed us. I had to clean the outside of building of spiders, webs and bugs by main patio to try to keep spiders out of cabin - they are everywhere inside. Crickets as well. No swim area by dock. Dangerous and scary steps to lake, if you slip at all your going to get hurt.

Great place on a great lake

I have been coming to Vermilion for over 20 years. Have always rented houseboats until 2020.....year of the VID. Houseboats couldn't run at the time of our rental so we found this place and it was wonderful. Becky knows what she is doing. She has been renting for years but is new to VRBO. There is no way to explain how big this place is. There is space everywhere. There are whole areas the size of a houseboat that we didn't even use. It's that big. I have rented places before and one thing stood out to me at this place. If I thought of it, it was there. Knives, bowls, silverware, coffee cups. You name it, it was there. Everything in the house was in good working order. My commuications with Becky were seamless. Check in was simple and she quickly ansered every question we had. I would rent from her again without hesitation and you should too. I almost dinged her 1 star for description of the property because however big you think this place is, it's bigger than that. It's been about 2 weeks and I think about that fire pit overlooking the lake every day. We caught walleyes off the dock every night around 9. Had a good run of weather and opened the windows every day and just let the sun and wind run through the place. 100% recommend renting this place. Marinas and boat launches very close by. I promise anyone who has ever spent time on a lake-you will love this house. Thank you, Becky.

Spent a guys fishing weekend here. Great property and thoughtful amenities and plan for cleaning fish. Plenty of room at the dock for two good sized boats and could maybe tie up three.

Vermillion Vacation House

This was the second time we have rented this place. We were very happy with the rental, everything was seamless from booking to check out. One of the nicest places we have stayed, great location on the lake and close to local services. There is lots of room in this rental and nicely laid out, very comfortable. Dock space was adequate for 4 boats, trailer parking was ok. The only down side is being only to rent this property for 6 days instead of 7, the extra day would have been nice. All in all a great place, will not hesitate to book again. Thank you, Tom W

Space laid out well for various activities, like rec room away from two main bedrooms. Walkout room to the lake was nice to have a place to keep towels, shoes, and water toys. Plenty of patio space and also fire pit space.

Annual Boy's Fishing Getaway!

Our stay was OUTSTANDING! This was our fourth year doing our boy's fishing getaway and by far it has been the best! Eveything about this house is amazing. They really thought about everything! Flashlights ready to go, a convenient fish cleaning station, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, propane gas grill and the list goes on! We enjoyed sitting on the dock and swimming , the boat lift was great and hanging out around the fire pit during the late evenings was so much fun! The house was very clean and everything about it was great! Plenty of parking as well. The only way our stay would have been better is if the house had central air conditioning. However, there were many fans around the house that kept us comfortable during the 90 degree summer afternoons. We will surely be re-booking our 5th annual boy's fishing getaway next year! Keep up the great work!

We stayed a week. Place was clean We ran out of propane and they replaced it immediately. We had enough fire wood for the whole week. Also appreciated that there was a boat lift. We had a great week at the shed.

Fishing Trip for the Boys

Property was clean and fit the description, plenty of room for a bigger group , we had an excellent fishing trip and an overall great experience, the only thing I would suggest is some new frying pans and baking sheets , Thanks Becky we would love to come back in the future!
