Amazing Sunset/Whale/Water Views/2 Fire Pits/AC/Lots of Games and more!

Welcome to Elger Bay Retreat. This home has all brand new furnishings throughout and all new kitchen items as well. Master bathroom has been newly remodeled. Spacious layout with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs. Beautiful views from all of the living spaces and the large front deck. Enjoy sitting by the wood burning fire pit and roasting marshmallows or just relaxing.

The views are across Elger Bay, over to Whidbey Island with the Olympic Mountains in the background. Sunsets are spectacular. Enjoy sitting on the deck and experiencing bald eagles flying right in front of you. Two pairs of binoculars are provided. During whale season, the grays will come in and feed by scooping up food from the sandy bottom.

The beach access is a short walk with plenty to explore. The walk to the state park is under 30 minutes along the shore. There is a second state park (Cama Beach State Park) as well. That might be better accessed with a short car ride, but could also be an extra long walk. Cama also offers boat rentals, kid activities and more.

Elger Bay Grocery and Gas, a convenience store that has all of your essentials is only 2 miles away. QFC ins located in Stanwood, 13 miles.

Matzke Fine Art Gallery and Sculpture Park- less than a mile away.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated that the home was clean, had a well stocked kitchen and thoughtful amenities like fans in the bedrooms, games, binoculars, a great coffee set up and more. The views were amazing and the quiet neighborhood helped our girls weekend be a huge success. Communication was wonderful as well. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Phenomenal view from the deck. We enjoyed having dinner overlooking the ocean and mountain scape. Kitchen extremely well equipped. Great location. Split layout is wonderful for a large family- with one bedroom, full bath and living room on lower level and open layout kitchen/DR/LR, two bedrooms and 1.5 baths on the upper level. Games, books and puzzles to family fun- we never turned on the TV! Excellent host communication.

Wonderful home with beautiful view of Elger Bay. Ideal location for exploring the eastern side of Puget Sound – Whidbey and Camano Islands (e.g. Oak Harbor, Deception Pass) - and the North Cascades (e.g., Mt. Baker). Two- story house is well maintained with large kitchen, ample dining room and two living rooms (one on each floor). Upper deck patio provides nice evening venue for unwinding after a day of tourist exploits. Bedrooms were clean and appealing - and the A/C was a welcome accommodation with the outdoor temps in the high 80's. All of my guests were pleased and appreciative with our lodging.

Beautiful, spacious home with beautiful views of the Sound from the large elevated patio and beach access (a bit of a walk but worth it). The host was extremely helpful and responsive. Great spot to stay. Also a state park and state beach 10 minutes by car. 40 minutes to Anacortes for whale / orca watching or to catch the Puget Sound Ferry. A little farther to Deception Pass and Rosario Beach tide pools and then on Whidbey Island. Less than 2 hours to North Cascades NPNot much dining options close by but the kitchen is very well stocked. A pretty good grocery store is 10 minutes awayOnly complaint is no washer and dryer. I don’t recall if the listing prominently states that but we didn’t notice it beforehand. Luckily we had enough changes of clothes but pack accordingly

Wonderful spot!

We absolutely loved this cabin. It was well stocked for lots of homemade meals. The views are stunning and location couldn’t be better. This is our second time renting here and we will be back!
