Estate, 7 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 4 Baths. Guesthouse also rentable for 4
My husband, Marty, built this lovely log home in 1996. We had a son in 2000 and thought it would be nice to raise our son near Marty's parents, so we relocated to the suburbs of Denver. That is when we turned the Lodge into a Vacation Rental. Over the years, we have had wonderful repeat guests and made memories with our family and friends at the Lodge. Our caretakers are located near the property should you ever need anything while renting. We also have someone to plow the driveway should the snow becomes over 6 inches. You will NEED 4 wheel drive vehicles or chained tires for winter months (Nov-April) to get up to the Lodge! The driveway is a gentle switchback to the top. Great for sledding!
Kimberly purchased this Estate in 1996
Why Kimberly chose Rincon Ridge
Everyone loves this property! Why? The Lodge itself, the views, the land around the property to hike or sled, the amenities and space within the lodge, the seclusion and tranquility, the authenticity of living in a log cabin in the mountains!
What makes this Estate unique
A true Log Cabin nestled atop a ridge, that is totally secluded to the outside world. At it's elevation of approximately 7500 ft above sea level, the wind blows through the night allowing for a roaring fire sometimes in the middle of summer. The views can only truly be explained by being there. This fenced 76 acre property will allow your entire party to roam safely without getting lost in the mountains of Durango. All the comforts of home in a large 3 story cabin with radiant heated floors, lots of space and where the only sounds you hear at night are deer walking through leaves or a wolf howling at the moon.

Spring break with family
Would do all over again! Beautiful place ! Plenty of room too.
We had a large group and this home was very accommodating to everyone in our crew!
The renting process to this property was the best ever! The property manager was awesome and was very helpful with any questions to help make our stay more enjoyable! I would highly recommend this property for a head count of 25 plus group! Lots of room to play and relax!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rincon Lodges. The accommodations were perfect for our large family gathering. The driveway was a bit tricky in the snow but the view at the house made it worth it.
We rented this Lodge for our Wedding Party to stay in and it housed us all (20) very comfortably. Great view and very well maintained. Highly Recommend.
Super Wonderful Place!

Ski: Durango Mountain Resort and Wolf Creek Ski Area
This is a rural property just outside of Durango city limits which sits atop a mountainous ridge. You will NEED 4 wheel drive in the winter or chains. There is a good chance you will encounter wild life, small and large. You may see mice, chipmunks, rabbits, turkey, coyotes, deer, elk, mountain lions and bears! Also, the Lodge is equipped with ceiling fans and portable fans in every room for summer, not air conditioning. Generally, the wind at this altitude can be cool enough to burn fires at the Lodge in the summer nights. If any of these things mentioned here bother you or are a cause of concern we may not be a perfect fit, and ultimately we want you to have a wonderful experience. Kindest regards, Rincon Lodge
