Beautiful home to have a relaxing, stress free family vacation including fishing, crabbing and lounging at the pool. The kayaks, paddle boards and paddle boat on the water were and added bonus with plenty of yard to enjoy a family wiffleball game. Mike was a very responsive host.

The house was everything we needed and more! My family had a wonderful time crabbing, fishing, and swimming at the pool, and the children loved playing at the private beach. The entire property was well-maintained, and all of the amenities exceeded our expectations. We look forward to renting this property again and watching the picture-perfect sunsets.

Beautiful & spacious waterfront property. We rented during a week of temperatures in the 90's so the pool area was used daily and the supply of pool floats & seating areas were plentiful. Kayaks, paddleboards were a bonus too. Ample spaces in the house for the 10 of us to share meals or play games but also spaces for some private quiet reading if desired. Everything you may need in the kitchen as well as games, puzzles for all ages. The hosts reached out to assure all was well and responded to any questions I had. Sunsets are amazing!

Place was perfect. Ideal location, private, well kept, and everything our family of 6 could possibly need. We've stayed at close to two dozen rentals and this was one of our absolute favorites. We look forward to coming back and are so grateful that you shared your lovely home with us.

Beautiful house with large swimming pool. Great dock for boating, fishing, crabbing. Small but kid-friendly beach. Exceptionally well-equipped and well-stocked both in kitchen and outdoors. The zipline was a big hit.

Relaxing family getaway

Big, beautiful, comfortable home situated on quiet and relaxing waterfront property. This clean, well-appointed home has all you need to enjoy a laid back and memorable time with your family. All nine of us enjoyed our time at Michael’s home. We swam in the pool, took the kayaks out, went for jogs, and enjoyed the fire out at night.

All in all, we had a wonderful week at Sunset Bay. There was plenty of room for our family of 8 one small child. In fact, the property is geared really nicely to children. We really enjoyed the paddleboards and kayaks. We also used the pool every day as the water was really nice & not to cold. The house also had all the supplies we needed. We had a little issue with some standing water on the property thanks to mother nature. Had to contact the host and Michael was very responsive. Created some wonderful family memories & thanks for sharing your home.

Beautiful home

The home is perfect for families of all ages. Some of us wanted to just relax on the screened in porch reading a book or enjoying the views of the water, the sunsets were incredible! Others were more adventurous and had a blast kayaking, paddle boating and fishing off the dock. We had a brief issue with the air conditioning. The owner was very prompt in handling it and had a repair man there within a couple hours to fix the problem.

Mostly as expected

Overall experience was great. Property was as described and very well equipped. Listing information should be updated to reflect that linens are not provided and to describe the arrangement of the bedrooms to indicate entry into two bedrooms requires you to walk through another bedroom. Host was very responsive to a minor issue upon arrival.

Sunset Bay

Sunset Bay is a very private residence with a beautiful and expansive view of Brooks Creek, which is particularly beautiful at sunset (of course). The large lawn is great for games and frisbee-throwing, and almost as nice to look at as the pretty cedar, pine, oak and maple trees that shade the house. The owners were most generous with their offer of kayaks, paddeboards and other recreational equipment, as well as a "toy corner" for the little ones indoors. We enjoyed meals out on the pleasant screened porch, and made use of the dock for our 17-foot Boston Whaler. We had a wonderful week, and recommend the property to anyone.

Great Place i an amazing location

We stayed here for our annual family trip and had a fantastic time. The house was well-stocked and had everything we needed, including a great selection of watercraft—kayaks, paddle boards, and more—which kept both the kids and adults entertained. The private beach was absolutely beautiful and a highlight of our stay. We typically started our mornings there and then made our way back to the pool in the afternoon, which was just a short walk from the beach. The pool was one of the best we've had in a rental—clean, well-maintained, and serviced twice during our stay. Communication with the owner was excellent throughout the process. The only slightly odd thing was the layout of the upstairs bedrooms. There are four, but you have to walk through two of them to get to the fourth. It wasn’t a problem for us since we were all family, but it’s something to be aware of.The air conditioning worked great on both floors, which made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return!Wife wasn't best but who cares and this got the kids outside ! it worked enough !

Michael's property was just right for our large family vacation. The house was so spacious and clean and the views were spectacular. Everyone had a great time fishing, crabbing, kayaking, playing yard games, and hanging out by the pool. The beds and couches were very comfortable. Everything you need for a fun filled vacation was provided. Just bring your family and food! I couldn't be happier with Michael's responses when I reached out with any questions. Very prompt and kind. We are already booking for next year. Thank you Michael for your hospitality!

This property is an absolute dream for families! Inside, the house is incredibly spacious with tons of different gathering areas, making it perfect for groups to hang out together or find a quiet corner and the fully stocked, dedicated kids' corner was perfect for keeping our energetic toddlers entertained! But the outdoor space is where this place truly shines—it’s an oasis. The kids were completely obsessed with the zipline, the swing under the tree, and we all loved spending time by the pool. The views and wildlife were amazing and the huge yard was awesome for yard games and volleyball (Bay Bashers vs Sunset Bay) Having crabbing gear and water toys available made our stay so special and saved us from packing extra gear.Speaking of bringing extra gear, you don't need to! This house is stocked with bedding, bath and pool towels, pool floats, a zipline, children's plates and silverware, games, toys puzzles, multiple televisions, crabbing pots and hand lines, seafood boil pots and everything you need to go with a seafood boil, a shed FULL of fishing gear and outside/water toys.... even an ICE MACHINE to keep up with the demands of a large group. We can't say enough good things about this place! Thank you Mike and family for sharing your home - everyone in our group had a blast. We would absolutely love to come back!
