Notting Hill designer apartment

An immaculate one bedroom apartment, south facing on the second floor in a quiet tree lined street near Westbourne Grove. This apartment has very recently been completely redecorated by a top interior designer. As well as the double bedroom, two small futon mattresses suitable for older children are available to lay out on the floor of the living room. The covers etc are not washsble so not suitable for small childten with sticky hands! .

The space
Suiutable for up to 2 adults (and 2 older children on temporary futons on living room floor at night). Not suitable for younger children eith stivku ginfers ss the furnishings sre notvmachine washsble.The Living Room is light and airy with full height windows with views over the quiet leafy street. It includes Wi Fi, Stereo, Apple TV, and a newly installed and fully equipped kitchen. There are bookshelves filled with interesting books including guides and books about London, a huge sofa, a large glass dining table for 6, and the subtle lighting is all on dimmers. There is a marble shower room with WC. The bedroom has a queen size bed, and spacious integrated hanging cupboards and shelves. Two single futons for older children are available to put on the floor of the living room.

Guests will have full use of the to entire apartment. There will be basic groceries including tea and coffee, a fridge/freezer and spacious cupboards and shelves. There are two single futon mattresses for up to two older children
There is no elevator to the apartment which is on the second floor.

Other things to note
Early or late check in or check outs can always be arranged, ideal if you are arriving jet lagged or catching an early or late train.

Sunlit flat in Notting Hill

We very much enjoyed our stay at the flat. It was bright, spacious for two, and very well maintained. It was conveniently located near the Royal Oak tube, which connects easily to Heathrow, King's Cross, and all parts of London.

Great place in a lovely neighborhood

Charlie was an excellent and responsive host and his flat was well situated on a quiet street close to restaurants and several tube stations. Loved having coffee available so we didn’t need to buy any. Bed was comfortable and the flat had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Fantastic London Flat

We had the best stay in Charlie and Amanda’s flat this weekend. Accommodated our family of four (kids 10 and 12) very nicely, the apartment is lovely. Clean, well appointed, and in such a nice location. My teenage daughter and I stayed at this flat during our 12-day trip to London. The owners were so responsive and helpful. The flat was super clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we could need. And the location was stellar -- a beautiful, quiet, clean street. Walking distance to a really convenient tub station, grocer, and tons of amazing cafes and restaurants. Even walkable to the Portobello shopping area. Delightful Apartment

Notting hill is a quiet retreat after a busy day in the City. Wonderful cafe and restaurant a 5 minute walk from apartment. Also the metro and grocery store are walkable. Our host was great, checked in with us during our stay. There is not a lift so be prepared to walk up to the 4th floor. 40 steps.

Fantastic Flat!

My husband and I just returned from a weeks stay in London. Charlie and Amanda’s flat was perfect! It is located on a beautiful quiet street, yet a short walk to several tube stations, restaurants and shops. The flat is modern with a cozy feel and is tastefully decorated and had everything we needed,even a US adapter! Charlie’s provided clear instructions regarding the flat and even checked in with us mid week to see if we needed anything. We will definitely stay here during our next visit to London!!

Perfect pied à terre

Very nice top floor apartment on a quiet street but very connected to the rest of the city, shops and restaurants. The main living space is were very well designed with a well pointed kitchen adjoining the seating area. There and in the bedroom the paneled walls hide away the storage to keep the space clean and streamlined. Hosts were very communicative and had detailed instructions and great recommendations. Would highly recommend. We were a family of three and enjoyed our little over a week stay immensely. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to London.

Cozy and compact flat

Small but efficient, this flat served my wife and I well for a delightful two week stay. The neighborhood is just wonderful - shopping and resources of all sorts within a ten minute walk and numerous brilliant pubs even closer. The flat had everything we needed and was well stocked with supplies. The hosts are genial and accommodating. A few things are slightly awkward - like the microwave in a utility closet and the TV. The latter is not well positioned for viewing and operates on Apple TV, quite inscrutable. And there are two flights of stairs to climb. Minor points which did not detract from our very pleasurable visit.

Cozy top floor flat on a quiet terrace has everything you need for a stay in London

The owner provided an amazing amount of useful and detailed information ahead of the stay about how to get into the flat and various things to do. We appreciated the short walk to the Royal Oak Tube stop but there are several other Tube stop options. The street is picturesque and quiet. This flat has large windows and a compact kitchen that makes it feel larger than it is. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, stove, Nespresso, and even a dishwasher. The owner provides all of the manuals for the equipment which we found very handy in navigating some unfamiliar appliances. The bedroom is quiet and has some heating pads that kept us very cozy despite the cold temperatures. Our last night we enjoyed a magical snowstorm that left the trees and streets covered with big fluffy piles of snow. One caution is that if you have large heavy suitcases it might be a challenge to get them up three flights of stairs. We would stay here again. Thanks so much Charlie.

We stayed here for a few days while exploring London. The flat was small for a family of four, but cozy and had everything we needed. The kids slept on futon mattresses and loved the novelty. Great Find - We Were So Pleased!

The location of this apartment was ideal: (1) Near a neighborhood with a ton of unique boutique shops, restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, cafes, etc., (2) Close to Notting Hill, but not in the fray, (3) Near Kensington Park, so great for running, (3) Near 2 easily accessible tube stopes, (4) On a quiet street, (5) Easy to get Uber cars when necessary. The apartment had everything we needed - even extra outlet chargers! The kitchen had everything necessary to make meals. Also, the apartment is on the top floor, so it was sunny and airy. Highly recommend this property to rent!
