ABOUT THE VILLA AT CLUB PATARA

LOCATION

In 2014 our daughter Mavi was born and the wish of having a place for her to grow up close to the sea and in the nature was getting bigger. We travel a lot in Turkey but just at Club Patara we found all we expect from a holiday.

The two-storied Villa is situated in the front row of the resort with just seven other villas. It is located in a huge common garden with a stunning view over the Mediterranean Sea and Kalkan harbour surrounded by palm trees and date palms. The prime location of the villa makes the beach, the pools etc. accessible within a few walking minutes. It makes it so easy especially when you have kids, to be at home in just a few seconds.

You can enjoy your privacy in the villa, cook dinner with friends or family, have a BBQ at the terrace or just lounge on the sofas or in the garden. After a long day at the sea you can enjoy a drink or snack at the Bar of the resort which is next to the pool and just a few stairs away from the villla. The pools overlook the whole bay of Kalkan and the beach platforms which lead to the clear blue sea are build in the mountains.

INTERIOR

At the ground floor the spacious open planned lounge, kitchen and dining room with TV + DVD Player and a stone fireplace invites to cozy evenings and lounging. From the living / dining area two large French doors lead onto the terrace and from there into the common garden where you can enjoy the stunning view over the bay. The terrace has a stone fireplace for Barbecue evenings.

The 3 bedrooms are all located on the second floor. The master bedroom –private bathroom in the room - with its stone fireplace combines coziness and elegance with a stunning sea view. The other two bedrooms are furnished with two single beds each; there is one cot for little children. At the second floor is a common bathroom. The whole bathrooms were renewed this spring, so you can enjoy your stay in an mediterranen wooden surrounding of the house with modern, new bathrooms. A washing machine is just below the staircase. On the ground floor is an extra WC, which was renewed as well. 3 Air conditions are in the house. The Villa is furnished with antique cedar wood furniture; the high cedar ceilings give airiness to this homely Mediterranean atmosphere.

The Villa is well equipped for self catering, groceries can be ordered from the Resorts Market, full linen and towels are provided. Wi-Fi is available in the house.

FACILITIES

The resort offers two pools, fitness area and a tennis court. The Patara Prince Hotel, which is located at the resort offers different activities which are available for our guests as well like a children’s club, diving lessons, blue cruise, water sports and a boat shuttle to Kalkan. For detailed information please don’t hesitate to ask.

Perfect place for a visit to Kalkan

The villa was lovely, very spacious with ensuite in master room. Location was great, still a few steps to get to the pool and restaurant but the least in the resort ( we stayed at the top before) Lovely views from the villa and everything you need. Lena was very helpful in every way. Patara Prince is a great resort, three pools and sea access. Restaurant staff are brilliant! Looking forward to another visit.

Lovely property and in a great location for swimming pools and sea platforms. Great communication from owner who responded to any questions promptly. Unfortunately no water taxi running from resort to kalkan and shuttle bus not always available so quite a steep climb to get to car park at the top. Lovely non saltwater pool at very top of resort but not all pools had restaurants/bars open. Kalkan itself is beautiful with loads of fantastic restaurants and bars - would also highly recommend a sailing trip around the local beaches and islands- stunning!

A fantastic front line property in a lovely resort

We had an amazing time here. The property was fantastic, Lena was very helpful with any issues, the resort is very well kept and the pools just a stones throw from the villa. We loved watching the giant turtles which you could see swimming from our terrace. Kalkan is a short drive away, down a very quiet road, you could walk it but it was very hot. There was no problem getting sun loungers, there were always some available, even on the platforms beside the sea. I would thoroughly recommend this property and we will definetly come back here.

Amazing place if you want to relax !

If you are into peace and relaxing this villa is perfect for you. We loved to sit on the terrace, overlooking the sea and just enjoying the view. The pool is perfect for a little refreshment and the villa itself furnished in a nice style. Owner Lena also made our stay unforgettable as she did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thanks again!

Amazingly relaxing holidays in an amazing location

I went there with a group of friends in September, the weather was still really beautiful. The villa was the same as it was on the pictures: big rooms, sea view, close to the pools and the sea. We preferred to cook at home, the market brings home all things you wish for. Me and my friends had a great time there and would totally recommend it! As well he nights at the bar were real fun. Special thanks to our house owner Lena, who also helped us renting a car and was available for us all of the time. Amazing holiday!

perfect time near the sea

We had a unforgettable stay in this wonderfull home. The inside and surrounding, garden and pool was even better then we imagined after reading the description. For our small son the garden and pool was fantastic. Lena was so helpfull and friendly. She gave us a lot of tipps about kalkan and places to see. We would definitly love to come again next summer.

Lost in Paradise

Perfect place for holiday, especially if you have children.You just walk from a beautiful garden to reach the sea. Owner Lena is one of the kindest and nice person that I ever met. Definetly when I visit Turkey again, it will be the place that I am gonna stay as a second home

I am originally from Germany but after a holiday to Turkey in 2006 I fell in love with the people, the country, the nature, the culture, the food. What makes this property unique

Club Patara has an award-winning architecture. It is set amongst 60 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens with winding pathways. The natural stones and earthy tones of the resorts architecture fit perfectly in this beautiful landscape. The resort is located at the ancient Bay of Kalkan which is the cleanest, Blue Flag awarded unspoiled bay of Turkey. It has its own private shoreline with secluded beach platforms tucked away in the natural stone leading down to the crystal clear, turquoise bay where the melting snow of the Taurus Mountains meet rich minerals streams.
Club Patara houses several quality restaurants which offer a variety of choices from bakeries to world cuisine and snacks. Club Patara offers two outdoor pools at the seaside. There is a 'serious swimmers' pool as well as more of a casual easy swim pool and children pool. As members of the resort, our guests are entitled to 25% discount on the activities and restaurants of Club Patara.

A free shuttle bus service is on hand to transport you around the resort. 24 hour gate security with only residents permitted entry is provided. Transfers from and to Dalaman airport (120km away) can be arranged by the owner, as well as car rental.
Across the bay lies the popular town of Kalkan, which you can reach in a 10 minute ride with the resorts water taxi. Alternatively, you can drive to Kalkan in 5 minutes.
Please note: Owing to the fact that Club Patara is built on a fairly steep hillside, there are lots of steps to negotiate and this property would not suit people with walking difficulty.
