We had a wonderful stay. The owners were very helpful during the Air Canada strike, allowing us to focus on finding a way home. I highly recommend staying here on your next visit to Vancouver.

Great Place to Stay

This was a great place to stay. The location was easily accessible to everything we wanted to do in the area. The house was immaculate and met all our needs. The neighborhood was beautiful! I would highly recommend The Haddon House.

Beatifully Restored Home with Great Hosts.

Beautifully restored and furnished home. House was comfortable, clean and pre-stocked with everything you need. Located in a nice residential neighborhood. The hosts were excellent and we loved our stay there!

Perfect for a family who are all flying into Vancouver.

We have stayed in many short rental places in the world.....London, Exeter, Algarve, Sedona, Newfoundland etc. and this lovely home was beyond perfect for our needs. The homeowners were so extremely friendly and attentive. Everything you could want while away from home was there.

Comfortable and relaxing

Beautiful home with lots of light, all the amenities you could need, and easy access to main roads. Hosts were welcoming and accommodating. Deer park nearby is lovely for a stroll as well.

Lovely home!

Haddon house is beautiful and well appointed. Close enough to Vancouver for easy access while the location in a quiet neighborhood made for a great night's rest. We couldn't have been happier.

As a first time VRBO user, I couldn't of had a better experience. The property was beautiful, and the hosts provided lots of nice touches, such as food for breakfasts. We had a great stay, and I would reccomend this as a place to stay in the Vancouver area

Exceptional property and hosts

Our family spent a week in this beautiful home. The hosts were lovely and so helpful. They went above and beyond...stocking the kitchen with treats so we wouldn't have to rush out for food. We'd stay here again in a second!

Beautiful home in a great location. Being centrally located, it was easy for us to head in all directions to visit family in Vancouver and was perfect for welcoming relatives in for visits as well. We enjoyed our morning walks around Deer Lake. The home was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The furnishings were both impressive and comfortable. The owners made every effort to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We would definitely make this home our first choice for our next visit to Vancouver.

Excellent property, great location, wonderful hosts.

Stayed at Haddon House for my daughter’s wedding. The property provided a beautiful setting for photos before the wedding and a quiet, comfortable retreat after. We walked in Deer Lake Park every day which was an added bonus. The hosts were wonderful and helped make our daughter’s wedding very special. This truly felt like a home away from home.

Felt like home

The Haddon House was a great place for our larger group. It was detailed very well and it was so inviting that it felt like home. The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond. They accommodated our late check in were always available if we had questions. I would highly recommend the Haddon House to everyone.

Girls get together

Everything was perfect! Four of us stayed at the Haddon House and we all were very comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely and there is a nice lake nearby to go walking. Our hosts were lovely. I’d highly recommend this house.

College friend reunion

Our stay at Haddon House was nothing short of perfect! From the personal greeting and tour by our host to the extra touches of elegance in the home, we felt comfortable immediately. Additionally, the stocked pantry, the first breakfast supplies, and chocolates was beyond our expectations. We had a wonderful, relaxing time in Vancouver and at felt right at home in Haddon House!!

Beautiful and relaxing home with welcoming treats

Property is more beautiful and relaxing than photos portray. The landscape, weather, slight breeze - perfect family vacation. The owners welcomed us with a pretty stocked refrigerator with fruit, drinks, cereals, coffee, tea. Really nice welcoming touch! Thank you.

New Year in Burnaby

Fabulous period property. Extremely comfortable, inviting and warm. Every detail for guests has been thought about and some - we were wanting for nothing. A Historic Gem with Exceptional Hospitality

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The property is an impressive historic building that has been meticulously cared for and beautifully remodeled. The neighborhood is full of grand, elegant homes, and we were just a short drive away from the SkyTrain station, making trips to and from downtown Vancouver a breeze. Our host greeted us with a lovely tour of the property and was incredibly attentive to all our questions and needs. They even provided a generous stock of breakfast foods for our first morning, which was a delightful touch. Overall, everything was perfect. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect!

This beautiful home was the perfect place for a group of old friends to gather for a week. The home is lovely inside and out and very comfortable. Owners provided all the amenities we could possibly need. Speaking of the owners, they were available whenever we needed them and so welcoming. The neighborhood is lovely as well. It was a very short walk to Deer Lake - walking trails, water lilies and high rises in the distance. We can't recommend Haddon House more highly!
