We very much enjoyed our stay in this house! Everything was as advertised, and the location was amazing for accessing key things in Vancouver. It was a very comfortable stay, and everyone in our group had a great time!

Beautiful house with fantastic location and amazing host

The property is located in an amazing area with restaurants and shops with an easy walking distance. Despite that the back porch area was delightfully quiet and peaceful. One of the favorite vrbo's I have ever been to. Thank you so much for having us!

Charming

Our family of 9 stayed 3 days prior to boarding a cruise. Pearl was very easy to work with. Very responsive to questions and accommodating to our needs.The house is tastefully decorated. The kitchen well stocked. We were greeted with fresh flowers on the parlor table, water in the cooler and snacks. We did not use the deck because of the weather but did use the cabana that was wonderfully set up. The location is in easy walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Also train station transportation to cruise port. The main downside is a curtain closure to a Jack and Jill bathroom in the master bedroom.Would definitely recommend staying.

8 of us stayed at this house comfortably. Incredible location, the house is exactly what is pictured online and Pearl was great to communicate with. 5 stars!!

Lovely home but no hot tub

Check-in was smooth and instructions were clear. The home was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was big with updated appliances. The location was excellent. The only downsides was that the listing has a hot tub listed but there is only a bath tub, and one of the upstairs bathrooms is connected to two bedrooms, but one bedroom only has a curtain for a door.

Wow

This place was a massive surprise for all of us! Located super close to downtown and to other amenities. It's not in a residential area persay but, I will say...if you're a group that wants privacy and an amazing place to hang out with friends to entertain...this is it. The back yard is basically built as a bar with tons of characuer. The house is like a museum with a state of the art kitchen. Owner was very kind and responsive. We definitely will ne back.

Pleasant surprise!

Don’t be dissuaded by the lack of photos — this place is amazing. It’s a gorgeous older house with a lot of charm and a fun outdoor patio. The upstairs bedrooms are all about the same size and the downstairs fold out couch is in a room with hideaway doors so it felt like its own room. The kitchen had everything we needed and Pearl went above and beyond with little details. Her communication is incredible and she was so accommodating. The location is convenient for trains around the city. There are two alley parking spots. What a find! We’d love to come back!

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO property! Four of us stayed here for four days, and it was the perfect spot for our guys' trip. The house was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed.The kitchen area was great for convo, had all the essentials for cooking meals together. We especially loved the outdoor space, but the skies elements were against us. The location was ideal, too. It was close enough to town for groceries and restaurants but still felt private and peaceful. Even with some modern updates, the property still shines with its delightful, timeless charm—a perfect blend of the old and the new."The host was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. We really appreciated the bottled water for hydration. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this property for groups looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!

Perfect place for our family

We stayed at Pearls place as our of town family for my siblings wedding. As the property was 2 blocks from the wedding venue, it was in the perfect location!! Pearl was communicative and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here!

Wedding Weekend

Stayed with family for a family wedding we were attending. This location worked well for us. We did find someone's clothing left under a bed and walking barefoot on the hardwood floors left them black, minor things.

Beautiful Home, excellent host!

We absolutely loved this home! Location was great, house was beautifully decorated- warm and inviting. Pearl and Nick were wonderful and accomodating to anything we needed. Would definitely recommend this lovely home right in the center of Vancouver.

Awesome Location & Attentive Host

Pearl was very easy to connect with a quickly responded to my messages. They offered us early check in and late check out which was very much appreciated due to our flight times. The house has a unique century home feel however there was a slight odour of an air freshener or cleaning product that had a “public bathroom essence” to it. I would suggest using scent free products as that would have rectified that issue. We aired the place out and it was fine after a few hours. There are air conditioners in each bedroom which is fantastic!! Very cool & comfortable in the home. The outside back deck area is so unique! We spent most of our time back there in the comfy chairs. We did notice that there were cars that drove in the side yard every hour from the evening to overnight. They were vacuuming constantly even at 3am! There also appears to be a small shed or storage area under the deck that someone was frequenting. I was assured that there were no others staying in the home though. There are two bathrooms. Both on the upper level. One is a half bath/jack & jill but can really only be used from the master bedroom as there is no door on one side. The ad states there is a spa or hot tub. This is not true. There is a claw foot tub but no jacuzzi etc. Overall a really great place! The location was absolutely perfect and other than a couple hiccups that were easily solved, we had a lovely stay. Thanks so much for having us :)

Fantastic Location and Historic, Comfy Home

Pearl's house made for a very comfy, and gorgeous home away from home. Great walkability and very centrally located to everything in the city. Don't forget to check out the bagel spot across the street!!! Also loved relaxing on the back porch in the evenings. Highly recommend this for you and your family!

Great family spot in Vancouver BC

Pearl was a great host. She was super responsive to all my questions. The house had a terrific kitchen and stove and big dining room table which made it easy for us to cook a few nights. We loved hanging out on the spacious back porch. The interior had a Victorian era feel with modern amenities like Wi-Fi. We could walk to the waterfront on False Creek, grocery stores, a Canada Line stop, cafes, restaurants, and parks and even the Science Center and Granville Island. Bedrooms all had AC units which we used each night. Pearl even had a pack and play and high chair set up for my two year old daughter. We had a reserved parking spot in the alley which made it easy for us to come and go to farther locations. Highly recommend this spot for families or several couples. Would stay here again.

There is an outdoor dining and barbecue area to add more fun to summer vacations with 2 decks and a bar zone for the entertainer extraordinaire. Enjoy a wonderful night's sleep in one of the 4 beautifully decorated bedrooms, all equipped with elegant bedding, lots of pillows and air conditioning. Extra guests? No problem, the parlor turns into a fifth private bedroom. For added ambiance, there are two electric fire places, beautiful pieces of art throughout the house and a cozy sitting room with a TV to watch your favorite programs and sporting events. There is a front veranda to enjoy your morning coffee and people watch. We offer an array of coffees and teas, a juicer for making your morning mimosas and a griddle for those unforgettable pancake breakfasts. So much fun to start your day, before heading out to explore the spectacular city of Vancouver. The China cabinet hosts a lovely selection of wine, drinking and shooter glasses to celebrate any occasion. The main bathroom is decorated in Italian marble with a clawfoot tub for your self-made spa day or soak the evening away with lots of bubbles, candles and a glass of wine. A garden and picnic area are located in the front yard. There is an additional green space on the lower back deck, with flowers galore in the summer season.
