Clean. And since it rained most of the weekend, the garage parking was nice.House reminded me of my grandpa's old Wisconsin farmhouse. Take note of the steep stairs and all bedrooms upstairs. The window air conditioners worked. The place was well-kept and met our needs for a weekend wedding in a very busy lake town.

It was a friend's weekend. The house was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. We had a question before we arrived that was answered in a timely manner. We all agreed we would stay there again.

Great rental with great charm.

We had an excellent stay in Green Lake. The house was clean & well stocked with all necessary supplies needed for our stay. The front porch was a delight to get fresh air, play cards, & just enjoy conversation. The decor was well done & we enjoyed every aspect of staying in the house.

Good Place, steep stairs, and ants

Overall the stay was good. The house does the job. The bathrooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable. The living room is fairly narrow which made it kind of difficult to watch a movie. However, if you struggle with narrow stairwells be aware. We also had issues with ants in the kitchen and at the outside porch. The neighbors were a little unkind about parking when we first arrived. Be aware of them possibly coming outside right when you arrive. The cleaning lady was very kind and easy to communicate with.

As you noted, the home is older and has its quirks, but we understand this may be important for guests to know in advance. We’ll continue to highlight this clearly in our listing.Regarding the ants, we’re sorry for the inconvenience and have since started using ant traps to address this issue, both in the kitchen and on the porch.As for parking, thank you for mentioning your experience. We do include detailed parking instructions in the welcome book to help avoid any confusion with the neighbors, but we’ll review them again to see if we can make arrival even smoother.We’re also very happy to hear you had a positive experience with our cleaning staff. Check in was for 3pm and at 330pm I had to message and then call to get the code to the door to be able to get in. Third party company manages and not the home owners.
