Lies lies lies

The unit shown in the ad is not available because it is for sale. The property is under construction due to what appears to be a water sewage issue, but they tried to say they were putting in a swimming pool! Stupid. Everything costs extra, parking, washing machine, jetted tub. Not as stated in the ad. Check in was difficult. We arrived and waited half an hour. Some other people arrived also. Then the property manager arrived. They took the in first to show them the property we were supposed to have but which turned out to be for sale property, while we waited another 15 minutes. Finally, he comes out and says that the unit we rented was not available because there was no electricity and that this just happened that day! We took the smaller unit because it looked nice and we were very tired from a long day on the motorcycle. The next day when I questioned the second property manager about the jetted tub, he got nasty and it went down hill from there. We stayed but tried very hard to avoid any interaction with the management. I would not recommend unless you enjoy being lied to!

Not what we booked...

The area was nice, but from the very start of our stay, there were difficulties. We communicated several days before our trip that we would like to checkin in early and asked if we could at least drop our luggage off before 4PM. We were told that would acceptable and to just call at least 1/2 hour before arriving. When we arrived in Paris around noon, we we're then told that it would not be possible until 4PM. When we were finally able to checkin, we inquired about the lack of Air Conditioning, Washer & Dryer and Parking. We were told by the representative, "those are all extra". The Amenities clearly list Air conditioning as Essentials along with a few other items. The representative stated that he had nothing to do with the VRBO listing and that it wasn't his problem and that we could check out and go somewhere else. After finally getting checked in, we found the bedsheet was dirty. The representative did at least bring us a different fitted sheet. The next day we noticed that one of the two towels was dirty and smelled sour as if it had been used and folded up wet. At this point we weren't about to spend the day arguing with someone who clearly didn't care about the service provided. We had other plans & Paris to go see instead. It's also not about the money. In my humble opinion, it boils down to a basic "Bait & Switch". Don't waste your time with this property.
