Oceanside Nature Resort at Pacific Shores
Pacific Shores Nature Resort is an ideal place to get away for a romantic weekend or enjoy a family vacation. Photographers and nature lovers seeking tranquility away from crowded areas enjoy Private access to 15 acres of well kept ocean front gardens forest and beaches.
This 3rd floor One-Bedroom suite (with elevator access from parking garage) overlooks secluded Craig Bay. Enjoy beautiful expansive ocean views from kitchen, living room, bedroom and your private deck with dining table and 4 soft chairs. Bedroom with ensuite bathroom, smart tv, ceiling fan and medium firm Queen sized bed. Additionally in living area there is a Queen sized couch pullout bed (also with upgraded comfy mattress). We are a pet friendly accommodation (resort requires dogs to remain leashed in common areas, pet fee will apply).
As our special guests you may enjoy creating fantastic meals in a fully outfitted kitchen or packing meals to take on your island adventures. New stainless appliances include dishwasher microwave 4 burner stove & fridge with filtered water & ice dispenser. Brand new large capacity washer & dryer ensures no dirty laundry needs to go home. Coffee Bar with kuerig machine. High speed wireless internet & Rogers Xfitiny cable TVs including Netflix.
The resort has a manicured and lighted walking trail along the ocean and around the entire property including the adjacent estuary park land.
Expect Free underground parking with security camera.
Amazing Seasonal Outdoor grotto style hot tub built into rock, glassed in for security & gated area for the kids splash pool, Pirate themed playground with sand box.
Free use Kayaks & paddle boards (when reserved onsite) are available seasonally. Pick from 10 New Pickleball or Tennis courts, racquets and balls available.
Year round access to large indoor Swimming Pool, Spa Hot Tub, Cedar Sauna & Full Gym.
Pacific shores resort has a great onsite restaurant "Pacific Moon Rising" for dinner and drinks without driving anywhere, food is excellent with lots of choices and gluten free options.
There is also a Wellness Day Spa & Physiotherapy clinic located on the property for any treatment you may want or need.
The town of Parksville & the main island highway are less than 5 mins away for groceries and supplies or to take you on your next adventure. Coombs Country market famous for their goats on the roof is within 15 minutes. Nanaimo for Airport, Ferries or shopping approximately 20 minutes. Plan Day trips to world renowned Victoria, Tofino or Ucluelet, San Josef Bay and so many more (ask us about your specific destination or suggestions and any more info needed for your stay). Don't forget to drive thru the Giant Redwood Forest at Cathedral Grove on the way.
Hikers will love the abundance of nearby trails & parks: Oceanside Moorecroft Regional park is next door. This day park is 35 hectares with picnic areas, gentle ocean paths & sandy inlet for swimming.
Explore Rathtrevor Beach at low tide & Parksville's huge Community Park which hosts the annual sandcastle festival. Englishman River falls, Cameron Lake, Mt. Washington Alpine Ski hill just to name a few, not to mention year round Golf at so many incredible courses. Come Let this magical place touch your soul !!
