Need to unwind from daily life? Our detached bungalow sits behind the main house and features a private courtyard perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. Located just half a mile from Historic Downtown Flagstaff, you'll have easy access to shopping, amazing restaurants, and local breweries. Northern Arizona University (NAU) is 1.5 miles south, Snowbowl ski area is only 10 miles up the mountain, and the Grand Canyon is a short 90-minute drive north.
Looking for adventure? Around the corner in any direction, you'll find parks with disc golf, tennis courts, hiking and biking trails, nature walks, stargazing at Lowell Observatory, skiing at Snowbowl, the Grand Canyon, and Sedona. This is the ideal place to stay for an amazing mountain getaway!
Our home is cleaned between each guest to ensure a safe and spotless environment for you to relax. The fully-equipped kitchenette has everything needed to prepare most meals. We understand that "fully-equipped" means different things to different people, so if we are missing something, we will do our best to provide it. The living area includes a loveseat and an oversized chair and is equipped with a 55" smart TV. The bedroom features a comfy Nectar queen bed with quality linens that are washed between each guest. The bathroom offers a walk-in shower and plush towels.
We aim to make both the home and grounds an oasis for our guests to unwind.
Like most homes in Flagstaff, we do not have air conditioning. Flagstaff cools off quickly in the evening, so feel free to open the door and windows for a cross breeze. If A/C is a must, we might not be the right accommodations for you.
Please park to the left of the red line on the driveway; there should be room to park two cars tandem if needed. Follow the walkway at the end of the drive, and it will take you back to the bungalow.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

A perfect place to stay for a weekend in flagstaff! Great little apartment with laundry, kitchen, comfy bed, nice shower, and our own little patio space. Would recommend!
I Was in town for work and the location was perfect ! Literally less than 5 minutes from my office which was a couple of blocks from downtown. Cozy and relaxing space with a small outdoor patio spot to sit. I’d most definitely stay here again. Also….. don’t know what brand of hand soap they have but it’s amazing !
What a beautiful remodeled cottage, within a mile of historic district and central to many roads in and out of the city. Well cared for property, with thought given to a guests stay. Kitchen has electric appliances that replace a stove, no problem, and a microwave. Cozy place for two people. For a good exercise, walk to the Riordan House state park, worth the visit to get a sense of history of Flagstaff. Note, the sitting areas outside shown in the pictures have been replaced by a metal table and four chairs.
The bungalow was clean, quiet, nicely decorated and the owner was very responsive to questions. This was a great place to stay to visit our kids at NAU, it is close to campus and downtown. We will stay here again. Thank you.
The bungalow is clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. It is close to all that Flagstaff has to offer, and also provides easy access to hiking trails and the ski area. The check-in process was completely hassle-free. I would definitely stay here again.
Overall great property for our needs! My husband was playing in a golf tournament Saturday so we made it a long weekend trip to get out of the heat in phoenix. The property was clean and had all the basic needs to make one comfortable. I found a great place for a massage 'Wellness Captured' it was just a 5-minute drive, I recommend it, Kimber was excellent, one of the best massages I've had!! We will be back to stay the next time we visit flagstaff.
Great place! Very clean, comfortable and convenient.
The Coconino Estates was sparkling clean and had everything to make our stay comfortable, including laundry. The hostess included many amenities that guests might need. There's a private patio and easy parking. The location is near a busy street so it's not always quiet, but then there are conveniences nearby such as gas, groceries and restaurants.
This was a very clean property. The main reason we elected to stay in a VRBO-type property was so we could cook for ourselves, as we do not eat inside restaurants during the pandemic, and it was too cold in Flagstaff to eat outdoors. Unfortunately, this space was not set up with the standard stove/oven situation, but instead came with an electric skillet, no pots or pans, an Instant pot, microwave, and a toaster oven. While the space is small and we can understand not having a full range, we did not know this when we selected this property for our stay. While the listing does state that "fully-equipped" can mean different things, it did not meet our needs for this trip. We also experienced a nose bleed during our trip, due to the dry air, and while we made our best effort to clean up after ourselves and left no stains behind, the owner was not very understanding of the situation, which left a sour taste in our mouth. I'm not sure we would choose this property again based on these experiences. I understand that we are all doing our best to navigate the current climate, so I want to be clear that were it not for the lack of kitchen equipment and the message from the owner about the "soiled" linens, we would have had an overall good experience. However, we believe those experiences need to be shared so that other travelers can make a fully informed decision about whether a property, and its owner, truly meets their needs.

Hi Emma, I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed in your experience with our space. However the description of our listing is not misleading as it clearly states... "A fully-equipped kitchenette has everything needed to prepare most meals. We understand that "fully-equipped" means different things to different people so if we are missing something we will do our best to provide it. "
Also, I'm sorry to hear about the nose bleed. If you had you communicated you got blood on the towels, I would have told you not to put them in the guest washer. They should have been soaked in cold water immediately then washed with baking soda.
I have stayed at this property twice now. Close to downtown and you can walk to the grocery store. Owner is friendly and very helpful. It snowed while I was there and she cleared the walkway for me.
I stayed in the bungalow for almost two weeks. It truly felt like home. Gena has done a fantastic job with the space. Everything is comfortable, simple, and soothing. The high quality mattress was a huge plus. I also can't say enough about the location, especially for anyone interested in riding bikes or getting to trails. The house is perfectly situated between town and trails - close to grocery stores, shops, downtown and a short ride or run to the trails for riding and running. I can't wait to come back.

My husband, Kevin, and I spent 5 years traveling around the West Coast as he worked as a travel nurse. We stayed in several short-term rentals during our travels.
We worked hard to build a light, peaceful space that embodies what we valued while roaming as travelers - lots of hooks, comfy beds, and tons of good local information. We look forward to connecting with people visiting our mountain town, and we'd love to help you have a great experience here.
Thanks for checking out our bungalow.
