Great place for a getaway weekend

Great Guest House in a Quiet Neighborhood p

We really enjoyed our stay. The guest house was very quiet and comfortable with private patio. While we did not prepare any meals, the room includes a full kitchen and a refrigerator. The hosts are very prompt with replies to any questions. We look forward to our next stay.

Wonderful location in a quiet neighborhood. All the basics are provided. Bring your own coffee and creamer! King bed was very comfortable! Hosts are very responsive.

Quiet, peaceful, lovely

The location of the property is perfect while enjoying all that Santa Ynez has to offer, like El Rancho Market, and Gainey winery, some of our favorites. The studio is very clean and quiet, set in a lovely, idyllic neighborhood. It's a nice size unit with a good-sized walk-in closet, comfortable bed, and fully operable kitchen with kitchen accessories available for use. Our hosts had everything set-up for our arrival and departure. We highly recommend!

Cute, cozy and good location.

It is difficult to get good night’s sleep here. There is a very annoying electrical noise and vibration going on and off constantly. It definitely disturbs the ambiance.

Comfortable

I really enjoyed my stay at the guest suite. The bedding and pillows were the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Even the throw pillows were cushy and enjoyable in which to rest my head while working on the computer. The kitchen is modern with a modern counter and sink, and is a good size for a suite. Unfortunately the refrigerator wasn't working but the hosts kindly put out a cooler filled with ice which worked well for my stay. There is a little grassy area in the front with chairs for guests, and I even spotted a bunny and the neighbor's horse. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely yet not far from Solvang or the casino. It's not unusual to see and hear farm animals here. People were walking their horses on the street and I heard a rooster. I also passed a large pig resting daily. The shower/tub is ADA accessible which is great but it can be a bit tricky to exit the shower with the direction the door has to go in. Also, the fabric curtain didn't do much to stop the water from the shower spraying onto the floor so part of the bath mat inevitably became saturated. It could have been user error. I really appreciated the fact the suite was single story and the fact they had air conditioning which is a huge plus in the summer. Overall I had an extremely comfortable stay and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. I appreciated the communication from the hosts and a secure parking spot next to the suite. Things to note: There was no iron or ironing board.

Great small space

Great small private space, bedroom w/full kitchen and bathroom. Perfect for the 2 of us. Wish we could have utilized the outdoor space more. Clean, spacious and easy access. Great communication with owners too.

Perfect location

Although it was a short stay, this property was absolutely perfect! Beautiful neighborhood and close to everything. Great communication and cozy rental. Will definitely come back in the future.

Hidden gem!

This is a wonderful quiet place to retreat. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood and convenient location to so many great options around the valley. It’s small and fairly minimalist but it worked great for us !

Great place to stay

I stayed at this location May 2022, in Santa Yanez. Unfortunately I only stayed one night traveling through town, however this place is so nice and charming I wish I had stayed longer. The room is as advertised and very clean. Just enough room for a short stay for 1 or 2 people. The location is great and close to very many things. Tucked away guest house which is a part of the main house however everything you need is there and not necessary to have access to the main house. Plenty of parking and is in a quiet safe neighborhood. Communications with the owners went well and they were very receptive to text messages. Will definitely look forward to staying there again if ever back in the area.

Had a wonderful time in Santa Ynez/Solvang area. This was a pleasant place to stay. Only minor complaint was the water and ice maker on fridge were not functioning. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay!

Quaint and private in an excellent location

Perfect and convenient location for exploring the area. Attentive hosts with great suggestions. Clean room with fully equipped kitchen. Two challenges, one, the refrigerator makes noise thoroughout the night, and two, the shower space is very small. I would still recommend!

Nice quiet weekend in Santa Ynez

Quiet location in Santa Ynez residential area. The unit is an attached cottage, well kept and nicely furnished. Close to Solvang, Los Olivos and the Ostrich farm.
