Modern Cottage with Private Pond, Spa and Views

Welcome to the most peaceful and tranquil place in the world. Our beautiful home is situated on 3 acres of private land with a private pond and incredible views of the mountains. Escape your life and stressors, and come stay in the fresh air where all you will hear are birds chirping - no sirens, cars or people.

The cottage is a newly renovated and fully remodeled old hunting cabin. Relax in the hot tub, or go for a swim in the pond. Our property is the perfect vacation getaway.

Our home is newly renovated and remodeled. We have furnished and set up the home so that it is everything you could need and want to relax, cook, and take in stunning views.

Each bedroom has memory foam mattresses and crisp white linens. Window units for air conditioning are also available, however the nights do get chilly and they are rarely needed.

Our home is fully stocked with anything you could need to enjoy your stay in the catskills. Everything you need is provided. The kitchen has lots of counter space, and is fully furnished with dinnerware, kitchen appliances and a gas range. We provide nespresso pods for your morning coffee :)

We provide all the sheets and towels you will need (including pool towels), as well as shampoo conditioner and body wash. Additional toilet paper and paper towels are stored in the bathroom closet.

The outside deck is furnished with a 6 seater dining table, outdoor couches, bbq, umbrella and hot tub. On the grass you can enjoy laying out on sun loungers, or under the umbrella as you take in the views from the Adirondack chairs. Connect to Bluetooth speakers both inside and outside to set the vibe for your day :) Feel free to also use google home indoors to play music and turn on the fairy lights outside.

Light a fire and take in the views as you cook in our outdoor fire pit grill, or roast marshmallows an nosh on s'mores.

Our living room is cozy and comfortable to lounge and play games (stored in the media cabinet) or watch tv. TV includes access to netflix, hulu, sling, and amazon prime. Washer and dryer are in the mudroom for your use.

We love our home and we hope you will come and enjoy it as well!

Beautiful Pond in the forest

We arrived to a beautiful house overlooking vast forested mountains with a beautiful little pond with lots of froggy friends to watch. The hot tub was nice and we all got a good night sleep. Lots of good hikes around and lots of little towns to visit and pop into for a book or coffee. Great stay!

Stunning Views

Great hosts,communication was very easy. Russell even reached out to me by phone to update me on getting there and checking in. House had many amenities and felt super cozy. The beds were so comfortable not to mention the joy we had from soaking in the hot tub & just enjoying the amazing views of the mountains. On our last night there we saw many stars & enjoyed the afternoon roasted smores. It was the most relaxing & exhilarating experience I had for my birthday.Definitely recommend!!

Gorgeous breakaway

Hosts Russell and Kim were amazing, the property was beautiful, the view was blissful, and the beautifully decorated cottage was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need (and then some). I'm not one for coffee pods, but ohhhhhh, these made for excellent wake-up calls. We made frequent use of the hot tub and spent the evenings stargazing (and were very happy to spot Andromeda Galaxy on the last cloudless night there!). My dog absolutely loved pretending he was the king of the mountain, watching over 'his' valley while we sat around the firepit, and I can just imagine how much fun that massive back garden slope must be when it snows, so a winter visit is definitely on the cards. We also enjoyed the recommendations in Margaretville and Roxbury, especially the Fierce Grizzly Restaurant. Thank you Russell and Kim for an incredibly relaxing time. We will be back.

The house was exactly as pictured and was perfect for my family’s weekend ski trip. Only 15 minutes from Belleayre. We came on a snowy weekend and the roads were plowed regularly. Russell was so quick and responsive and made it all that much easier to coordinate our trip. Would highly recommend for a Catskills trip!

A view that’ll stay with you

Just a terrific spot to go and get “off the grid.” The view from the back deck of the mountain, the clouds and the foliage was inspiring and humbling—in the best ways.

Exactly what we needed!

This property is exactly what it portrays- a quiet getaway from the world on a beautiful piece of property with a gorgeous view. The kitchen has every utenstil and ammenity you need to cook full meals. The barbeque outside is clean and new and the patio furniture is comfortable to lounge on all day long. The furniture inside and out is both new and comfortable and set up well for just hanging out. The Wi-Fi works like a dream, which is important because there is ZERO cell service, so be sure to enable your wifi calling and download maps of the area to get around. We used the hot tub and firepit every evening and just watched the stars pop out at night. Bring binoculars if you have them, because the hills have a bunch of hawks, eagles, and birds to watch. This place also has a Google home inside and mounted speakers outside, which is a really nice touch. We especially appreciated the Backgammon board (theres also a lot of games in the cabinet).

Quiet paradise with modern amenities!

The property was incredible. An amenity-rich modern, living experience tucked away on a quiet hillside. The deck, hot tub, fire pit and outdoor spaces were superb and the pond was an ecosystem delight! The hosts were attentive, responsive and sent us lots of tips about the area, including their favorites. We might have to make this a routine stay! Thanks for having us.

Disappointing and overpriced

Our group was 4 adults plus our 7 year old. When arriving, we discovered a poorly maintained outdoor space. The patio plants were dead, the hot tub was half full with strong odor, and the lawn was overgrown (but luckily mowed our 2nd day). Also, multiple broken items were broken such as blinds, bathroom closet door, lawn chair, etc. The patio view was gorgeous and matched the photos, but nothing else did, especially given the price.

We are sorry to hear that your experience of the home was disappointing. Please accept our apologies for that. We strive to provide a 5 star experience for all our guests. We have fully tended to the 'broken' items mentioned. Unfortunately the weather in the Catskills prevents any gardening until after Memorial Day as we get very late frost. So this is why some plants were not in bloom or not newly planted. We hope the next time will be to your standards and we'll happily provide a discounted rate.

Great stay

We had a great experience at Russell and Kim’s house. The view from the back deck is every bit as magical as it looks in the pictures. The hot tub makes it all the more special. We had a few questions as the week went on and our hosts were very quick to communicate and help us out. They also left us fresh bread and mint and kale from the garden which was such a nice touch. There is no cell service at the house but the WiFi works great. The only hurdle we hit was that the septic is very sensitive, and with 6 people it was a bit strained! All in all we had a great stay.
