You'll be racing to get outdoors during the pleasant summers, where daytime highs rarely exceed 80 degrees. During the winter, after a day on the slopes, you may find yourself appreciating the warmth of your Stateline vacation rental. Make sure you bundle up, particularly in December and January when evening temps regularly dip below 20. Winter storms can also bring up to 20 inches of snow but the white powder may dust the landscape anytime between November and April. Mild falls and springs offer daytime temperatures in the low 50s and mid-60s.

Stateline is nestled along the east shore of Lake Tahoe, a sparkling freshwater lake that boasts some impressive stats: it's not only North America's largest alpine lake but, with a depth of 1,645 feet, it's the second deepest lake in the United States. The nearest airport is in Reno Tahoe Intl. Airport (RNO), located 38.7 mi (62.2 km) from the city center. If you can't find a flight that's convenient for your trip, you could also fly into Lake Tahoe, CA (TVL), which is 5.7 mi (9.1 km) away.
