Glad to have a group of fishermen visit during some weather which may only be welcomed by anglers looking to hook a few large fish. We will check the house notes regarding tank exchange locations, and our policy to reimburse renters for the incurred cost.

Great location! Amazing view! Nice house! Helpful host! Had a wonderful stay. Remember to bring your own bed linens and towels. Check all cabinets before going out to purchase supplies.

This was a perfect property for our group. Great views and easy access to restaurants. We rented a boat and found this location convenient for our daily boat excursion. Check-in was easy and rhe owner communicated well.

Relaxed by the Lake

Beautiful location on Smith Mountain Lake. The view was picturesque. The house was nice more like a cottage feel.

We were pleased that this group chose to stay at Autumn Cove for a wedding weekend. As they wished they had more time to enjoy the lake, we hope they'll consider returning for a longer stay in the future.

Great stay!

This is our 5th time coming to SML for a fall weekend with our family. So far, Autumn Cove has been our favorite. Host was very communicative throughout. We plan to stay here again in the future!

Beautiful setting!

We enjoyed waking up to the beautiful lake views every morning. The boat dock was convenient for lounging and for docking our jet ski. Overall, it was a great stay!

These guests were very accommodating -- they took delivery of a repair part which was sent to the property, took photos of the box labels for me and stored it in a safe place for installation by a technician after their departure. We're glad they enjoyed their stay at the lake and some time on the water.

Family Trip

Lovely house with a beautiful view of the lake. Lots of great spaces to enjoy family meals both inside and outside to enjoy the view. During the reservation process and leading up to our stay the owner has went above and beyond to communicate and assist us in any way he could. It was a wonderful stay and would definitely book again!

Great Hideaway Gem

It was a nice family oriented place that was a great place to go and relax with family and friends and spend quality time together. Only thing we could of wished for that was better was better weather other then that we loved it and 100% will be returning at some point!

Everything absolutely wonderful!

Everything just as described if not better. The owner Kirk was very easy to work with. The location was great, easy to get to by car and close to marinas by boat.

Great Host & Perfect Location

Location is ideal, close to shops and restaurants by boat or by car. Nice easy walk to the lake from the house, great dock. The house was cozy and had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. The house was well stocked and the host was great at telling us everything we needed to know ahead of our stay. This was the best lake house we have stayed at yet and look forward to go back next summer!

Great Weekend Stay

We stayed here with another couple while visiting our children at Ferrum college for the weekend. The property was very clean and well maintained everything was just as listed. Kirk was very easy to deal with and answered any questions we had. Price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Property!

The location of this rental is prime! It’s just minutes from the marina by boat or car, minutes from grocery stores and restaurants. The house was perfect, it was spacious, right on the water, and well stocked with all the cleaning and kitchen stuff we needed. The hosts were great, with a lot of good communication. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect location

The house is in a great spot on the lake. Quick boat ride to Bridgewater or Drifters. It was extremely clean and comfortable and communication was excellent throughout. We loved all the deer in the yard and the view from the deck was unbeatable. We’ll definitely look at this property first next time we head down!

Overall nice property and we enjoyed the stay. Only thing I can say bad is the boatlift was not working and the two large beds are very noisy.

We're glad this group enjoyed their stay. The property features include the ability to dock using the covered boat slip. The boat lift is inoperable due to damage to the lift and mounting rafter caused by improper use on multiple occasions. The lift was disabled to avoid an unsafe situation from arising. We'll look at replacing some beds during the next off-season.

Great Lake experience at Smith Mountain Lake

Enjoyed our stay at Autumn Cove! Home was lakefront with a short walk to water down a short hill. Loved the dock and other amenities. We would rent this place again. Owner was very easy to work with and accommodating to our needs. Thanks!
