Autumn Cove is an ideal location for a family vacation at Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia. Enjoy the 'Jewel of the Blue Ridge' from our conveniently located lakefront home. Smith Mountain Lake may be reached by car in 45 minutes from Roanoke, VA, four hours from Washington, DC, three hours from Richmond, VA, or two hours from Greensboro, NC.

Submitting a "booking request" starts a 24-hour timer which may not be sufficient time to exchange information prior to booking your reservation.

Features: Autumn Cove has three bedrooms -- each with its own attached bathroom. The home has a large great room and family room, a two-car garage, large deck, an all-weather patio, a private dock for boating and swimming and a great view of Smith Mountain Lake. Amenities include central air-conditioning, a large kitchen, two TVs, DVD player, high-speed internet, smart TV and a stereo. A gas grill is available for outdoor cooking. Relax with your family, and enjoy some privacy. Kitchen and bathrooms were updated in 2022.

Read a book (we have a collection to choose from) or enjoy a variety of water sports such as boating, jet-skiing, water-skiing, tubing, wakeboarding, swimming, floating, or just watching the boats go by on their way to and from the Smith Mountain Yacht Club.

Autumn Cove is conveniently located five minutes by car from grocery shopping, and less than ten minutes by boat or car from Hales' Ford Bridge. From the water, we are near channel marker R27A. At the bridge area, a variety of entertaining activities await your family including miniature golf, an arcade, live music, boat rentals, art galleries, delis, outdoor dining, and ice cream!

Autumn Cove provides private sleeping accommodations for six persons. The bed inventory includes 1 king, 1 queen and 2 twin beds.

Smoking in the house is prohibited.
Pets are considered; please review the pet policy sent in reply to your inquiry.

Cleaning fee: We do not tack on a cleaning fee. A standard cleaning is included with your rental fees. If additional cleaning is needed, it will be deducted from a security deposit balance.

Deposit: a $250 hold is placed on your credit card by VRBO to cover any charges which may need to be collected after your stay. The hold is released, less any incurred charges, after your stay.

Host Fee: To save costs, we do not charge a host fee. Renters are responsible for providing their own bed and bath linens. Either bring your own or we can recommend linen rental services who will make the house ready for you before your arrival and pick up the used linens after your departure.

Back-to-back bookings are limited to peak summer season. Otherwise, we slot at least 24 hours between rentals. Enhanced cleaning and sanitizing procedures are being followed to protect renters and cleaning crew. Overnight occupancy is limited to 6 persons at all times.
