Catch some sun and Atlantic breezes on the deck with ocean views, or cross the street for direct beach access. Two bedrooms with 1 Queen, and 2 Full beds, 1.5 bath with open plan from Kitchen to Living Room. Enjoy your privacy, or rent with friends and open the door between units. Amenities include Electric Vehicle (EV) charging on site (FREE), washer/dryer, outdoor gas grill, ceiling fans, central heat/air, 3 Flat Panel TV, cable, and wireless internet, outdoor shower and partially covered deck. We really enjoy this place. It’s our fifth year staying here. It’s a short ride over to Beaufort where we boarded the ferry over to Shackleford and spent the day. We went back a second time to shop and have lunch at Clawsons. The house has a porch that is perfect for afternoon sitting and reading a book. You are just a few steps from the beach and there are plenty of chairs and other beach needs provided. We will be back next year.

The house was clean it was a perfect set up for my family. We rented both sides, so that each family had their own space. Close to the beach. The only thing is the house across from the mental has overgrown vegatation and blocked some of the view of the ocean. If we come back we would rent this house again.

This is our second time staying here and we always enjoy our time. The cleaning ladies do a wonderful job to prepare for your stay. It’s a Beautiful location and beach. Owners go out of their way for any need you may have. They do a wonderful job with this Vrbo. -Ashley.

Everything was very clean and updated. The owner has really thought of everything you could ever need! The property was great for having a dog and such a close beach access! Had the best time and best weather. Also dont want to leave the great communication! Would book again!

This was our second stay at Surfsounds, and it was just as enjoyable as the first. The house is spotless. I enjoy cooking and the kitchen was very well equipped. The owner is very friendly, and we enjoyed seeing more of his artwork this time. We hope to come back again soon!

The rental was the perfect location and the layout was great! Having the access to the beach across the street (pretty much at the end of the driveway) made beach days relaxing! It was easy to just walk back when we needed a break from the sun. The rental’s open layout made it easy to hang out. Having hoses at the front and back stairs along with an outdoor shower was really helpful for coming in from the beach. We had our 7 month old puppy with us and there was a dog bed and dishes along with treats laid out for her - so sweet! The host was very response to all messages and very helpful! The overall location was close to easily drive to the grocery store, beach shops, etc but also removed enough that it wasn’t busy. We would totally rent this place again!

Location is outstanding. Literally less than 100 yards from beach. We loved its beach house feel and easy means to wash up outside to keep the sand out of the main house. Inside was very modern, with an open living room/kitchen. Bedrooms were comfy cozy. We especially liked the half bath attached to main bedroom. Welcome information by owner was very helpful as this was our first home rental experience as well as first time in the area. Check in and check out was a breeze.

We have stayed here many times in the past and again it was absolutely awesome!It is perfect for our family of 3 and being able to bring our dog is great. The walk to the beach is short and easy. Was able to catch the sunrise every morning! We will be back again.

Quiet neighborhood, at the end of a dend end street so no real car traffic. Only golf carts and bicycles pass along the front of the house and that's not often. The walkway to the beach is just across the dead end street. For a 2nd row home this location is perfect. The hot/cold outdoor shower is great but you can see through the gaps in the boards. If we could see out I imagine neighbors could see in, especially at night. Maybe bring a shower curtain to tack up? Better yet, ask the host to address. Doubt they even realize. Speaking of the hosts... nothing but positive opinions. Actually met ine of the owners and felt he was welcoming and accommodating.Highly recommend Surf Sound!
