Located in the Outlaw Country equestrian subdivision north of Bozeman, you may enjoy sunrises, sunsets, outdoor activities, or just peace and quiet. Dine on the patio or relax in the 900 sq ft main room.
You are far enough away from town for star gazing without interference from city light and close enough to have pizza delivered. You are located within 10 minutes of most Bozeman shopping centers, grocery stores and restaurants.
There are gravel running trails located across the street. The trail head for mountain hikes is 2 miles away.
Close to Bridger Bowl ski area (30 minutes), Lewis & Clark Caverns (45 minutes), Big Sky ski area (60 minutes) and Yellowstone Park (90 minutes). You can spend the day skiing or at Yellowstone Park, and have a relaxing evening waiting for you when you return.
As a Vacation Rental Guest, you can expect more privacy than you would find in a condo because there are no adjacent walls to the 2nd story living area - just 360 degrees of great views. This 1500 sq ft living area is located above the 1500 sq ft garage where your car is located. There is room to park several cars in the garage if you have company.
We also have a crib, playpen, and high chair for younger families.
The patio is 10' by 80'. The covered patio allows you to be outdoors in the rain.
Horses are quiet animals so you get the benefit of peace and quiet as well as the rural Montana feel. We have seen deer, fox, and numerous types of birds (eagles, hawks, quail) in the back pasture.

My wife and I love the Bozeman area and have been here since 1980. It is close to so many recreational activities that we try to take advantage of them as much as possible. The benefits of living in the equestrian subdivision are you can see the open spaces that provide privacy and quiet. Our 3 kids are married and living around the country and we have three grandchildren.
Owner purchased this House in 2009
Why Owner chose Gallatin County
On the map you will see that we benefit from open spaces and a neighborhood setting. We moved to the equestrian subdivision in 2000. In, 2008, we built an oversized garage (30 x 50) onto the house with a second story above the garage that would offer guests a quiet/private place to stay. We opened for guests in 2009.
What makes this House unique
One picture window faces the sunrise over the Bridger Mountains. The other picture window faces the sunset over the Gallatin Valley and lights of the cities. There is central air conditioning for your total comfort. Sitting under the covered porch, even in a rain shower, is very relaxing and the rainbows are awesome.
Sports & Adventure Activities
Beautiful spot in the world!
We had a wonderful stay at the Outlaw Hideout and would definitely consider staying there on a future trip.
Very nice property in quite neighborhood. Owners were very accommodating!
Would stay again! Thank you!
Wonderful place, great price!
Everything was fabulous. There was plenty of space, the views were beautiful and we had everything we needed. It was a great home away from home while we moved our daughter in at MSU. We would definitely book again.
What a magnificent property. Great view, homey, well equipped with kitchen and bathroom items. Lovely view of the mountains especially relaxing from the front porch rockers. Jean and Bob are very hospitable and friendly. If you are considering this property, you should consider your search complete because this is the one.
Wonderful accommodations in a beautiful setting. Great mountain view
Perfect place to stay while visiting Bozeman.
Our stay was great, and the house has plenty of room for five people (three adults and two teenagers). As the place is above an empty garage, I hope our hosts (they live in the main house next to the garage) didn't hear how loud my niece and nephew were. There is a huge living room and kitchen and the bedrooms are spacious. It was really close to everything we needed to attend a wedding (about 7 minutes away from the Big Yellow Barn). And when we left to visit Yellowstone, it was a little over an hour away, no big deal at all. My mom accidentally left something she really needed, and Bob called to let us know it was there, so we stopped by on our way back to the airport (a five minute drive), and picked it up. We really appreciated that. Also, if you have kids, there is a great park which is a five minute walk down the road. If we go back to Bozeman, we will definitely stay there again. Thanks again to the Snyders, everything was great!
Rates & Availability
Additional information about rental rates
The cost of the rental and damage deposit is NOT due until you arrive even though you will get notices ahead of time. This way you don't need to worry about a cancellation fee if your plans change for any reason. I only charge $1 to book, but when Expedia bought out Homeaway/VRBO, they added a service fee that goes to them and is charged at the time of booking.
